Hi, Thanks for watching - We are Rod and Sue, a couple of silver tops who enjoy travelling in our Motorhome, affectionately named “Campi” a 2016 Burstner T660, which we purchased in 2018, we hope you enjoy our trips.
In 2024 we will be traveling to Spain - Feb/April, Corsica - May/June and France Sept/October, in between those dates we will be touring in the UK, the South Coast is probably our favorite UK destination, anywhere between Lands End and Dover

Great video, thank you.
Thank you, and thanks for watching 👍😎
Lovely couple !! Thank you for sharing , We spend a lot of time in Greece but have never tried RVing it , you have inspired me to try it .
Thank you, and thanks for watching 👍Greece is really good for RVing 👍😎
Hello, We have just discovered your channel and you now have us tagging along as a new subscriber. Really like your editing, choice of music and narration, it’s so descriptive and relaxing. Looking forward to watching the rest of your videos for inspiration on our first trip to Europe in the motorhome All the best, Zoe🦯🦮, Malish👨🏻✈️ and Keeva the Pickle🐩.
Thanks for watching, subscribing and the comments, appreciated 👍 you’ll love touring Europe
Great video
Thank you👍 and thanks for watching 😎
Some lovely sites there! Given us some ideas for our next trip for sure :)
👍 thanks for watching 😎
Thank you so much for a wonderful vidblog. It seems that France is really geared up for motorhomes and as we have a caravan we hope that there are other sites available for us. Please stay as happy as you always seem. Looking forward to your next adventure. By the by, your video skills are excellent.
Thanks for watching and the comments, much appreciated 👍 lots of caravaners in France and indeed the rest of Europe, you certainly won’t be stuck for a pitch, you’ll have a great time 😎🇫🇷
Do you use a drone for the aeriel shots???
Hi thanks for watching 👍 no all shots in that video that look like they may have been drone shots were done with a Insta 360 X2 and a 3 metre pole 👍😎
Stayed at Camping Eden in 2009..stayed for just over 6 weeks..great site..no doubt changed a bit over the years...lol..enjoyed our stay
It was chocker, not a bad place to stay I would imagine right on the beach - we weren’t the only ones disappointed but the parking round the corner did us just fine 👍😎
Peniscola is where El Cid was filmed..the final battle scene on the beach
Yes it was, an impressive castle 👍😎
Looks like it was a shame to come back from sunny Spain..
Thanks for watching 👍 It would have been nice to stay awhile longer that’s for sure, but hey, we’re in sunny Corsica at the moment, fabulous weather😎
Thank you will do the same on my fort MHO trip later this year. Thanks again for sharing the interesting content👍
Thanks for watching - have a great trip 👍
What was the name of the camp site in orange 🍊 pal?
Thanks for watching - site was Camping Manon, it’s an easy walk into town from there 👍
You make a very good video brilliant loved them all
Thanks for watching and the comment, it’s much appreciated 👍
Nice video. How was the road over the Col Du Portalet? I’ve always wanted to use that route but The Mrs hates treacherous mountain roads.
Thanks for watching 👍 It wasn’t a bad road at all and well worth a drive over 👍
@@Travels_in_CampiThanks. 👍
Nice video of Venice, especially the scene at 8:53 😊 greetings from munich WM
👍😊 Great to have met you at the Vogalonga last year Wolfgang - great to hear from you
Hi. Great content. My type of touring👍 Can I please ask what autoroute token you are using currently. Thanks both “Safe Travels”.
Hi, thanks for watching 👍 we use the Emovis Tag, there is a fee involved using it but it does take the hassle out of going through the tolls, and anything that makes life easier we’re for it 👍
Great video - we must visit the elephant sometime! A couple of questions if you don’t mind. You clearly use a lot of the camping-car network - I take it that because this trip was in March that you didn’t book ahead? Do you book in Summer? I note enviously that you were only home for 4 weeks and then off to Corsica (I note you’ve arrived). Do you use the MoHo much in this Country? Our trips to France tend to be limited to around 3.5 weeks for a number of reasons - I think we need to take a leaf out of your book and go more than once a year! You’ve become our favourite vloggers - keep it up👍
Thanks for watching and thank you for the comment 👍 We do book ahead occasionally, some of the CC are always busy, Lion sur Mer for instance, so we would book that one ahead to make sure we could get in as we like that one as our last stop before the ferry. On this trip (Corsica) we booked ahead the same day at Sainte Suzanne, kept looking on the app (as we were driving south) and as soon as a pitch was available we booked it, just as well as some couldn’t get in that night (You can book the same day if a pitch is available, or from 72 hours to 6 months before, but not the day before) Yes we do use Campi in the UK, during that four weeks we got down to Seaview near Weymouth and Westbay for a week - and we will be camping in the Uk in the summer this year as we will have had our 90/180 allowance, another European trip in late September
@@Travels_in_Campi Thanks for the reply - helpful😀
Just watched your Nantes trip. Fabulous!! We will definitely be going there. Loved the snowy mountains across the Pyrenees.too. Well documented and enjoyable to watch. 👍
Thanks for watching👍 and thank you for the comment, you’ll love Nantes
Looking forward to your Corsica trip many years since I have been there planning to take motor home over in the next year or so
Thanks for watching 👍 - just arrived in Corsica (3rd day) fabulous so far 👍😎
Nice video. Very informative. Thanks 👍
Thank you and thanks for watching 👍
Just found your channel and great videos and information ✅👌. Did you use tolls in France or can you share the routes as we are going to tow a caravan to Portugal in summer. Thanks 🙏👍
Thanks for watching 👍 we use a mixture of roads, toll roads are very good but can be expensive, but getting A to B are the easiest way to travel, Portugal is on our list to do, “so many places so little time” PS Bordeaux is a very busy place to get past, have a great time in Portugal.
Really enjoying your vlogs. When is the next one about going back through France and Nantes coming out?
Thanks fr watching and glad you enjoy the videos 👍next one is coming out really really soon, a few adjustments to the sound which seems to take ages and then we have to find enough wifi to upload
A really helpful video thank you - my wife and I are looking at doing almost that exact journey at the same time of year - but next year - so its very helpful to se that weather/campsites/tavernas/Ferry companies - The Ferries seem v expensive - we are contemplating driving to Bari and crossing from there instead of Ancona. Thank you very helpful.
Thanks for watching, and the comments 👍 yes going from Bari would be a cheaper option. Our ferry would have been a lot cheaper without the cabin both ways, but we don’t do very well in those reclining seats and it was a long crossing. Have a great time when you go, Greece is a fabulous place to tour.
Hi to you both. My wife and I have just come across your excellent video vlogs. We are regulars into Spain and we were also in Villasol Benidorm when you were there. Such a shame we didn't meet. We are off to Italy next month for around 3 weeks and next year when I retire from work early we are going to do Greece but my wife wants to go to Corfu as she's a big fan of the Durrels and wants to see the house. Your vlogs are so more informative than others, time of year is always a help and you don't ever state the obvious on your trips. Keep up the good work, you never know we may bump into each other someday. Regards Mark and Louise.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comments 👍 would have been great to have met you both at Villasol (nice campsite) - Corfu would have been a great excursion (also fans of the Durrells) there is a ferry from Igoumenitsa. Have a great time in Italy 😎🍷
Thanks for sharing. For Valencia and for passing by, we stay at Valencia Camper Park at Bétera. Has a train to Valencia 10 mins walk away. Can usually get in especially if you don’t need EHU.
Thank you 👍that’s another one marked on Google maps 👍😎
Brilliant volgs from you both that's just all the information you need look forward to seeing more
Thank you 👍 and thanks for watching 👍😎
Thanks for sharing! We like to stop at the aire at the Port of Saint-Cyprien - easy walk to the beach, port and restaurants. On our way south we like Cambrils - Camping Llosa; super town with great food and nice walking. We stayed at the same aire as you in Peñiscola - good value and easy walk to town.
Thanks for watching 👍 and thanks for the tips 👍 I have marked both of them on Google maps
Love the music and all the places you visited on this trip, even the campsites near the beach. Informative commentary well appreciated. Thanks Rod & Sue. Will be watching your Nantes vlogs
Thanks for watching and thank you for the comment, glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Hi what time of the year are you there keep them coming 👍👍🚐
Thanks for watching 👍 We left Portsmouth on the 27th Feb and the return ferry was on the 3rd April, Part 2 covered leaving Peniscola on the 8th March to Zaragoza on the 25th March

Just started following. Good, well put together videos. Would have liked more info on food and prices (esp Greece 🙂 ) Happy travels
Thanks for watching and the comment 👍 Ok, we like that suggestion 👍
Looks like Alicante will have to on our bucket list the next time we visit Benidorm. Looking forward to part three of the tour.👍
👍 And part 3 is in the cutting room 👍😎🚍
Enjoyed watching your vlog and the information you shared. Looking forward to following the rest of your travels 👍
Thank you and thanks for watching - great to have you aboard 😎👍
Btw I would love to know how you edit your videos so well, especially with the Insta360.
Just come across your videos, and have to tell you how much we are enjoying them. Love your laid back style and no nonsense way of sharing your travels 👍 Thank you for sharing 🙂
Thanks for watching 👍and glad you like them - the 360 footage is done with Insta Studio which is free from Insta available for Mac and Windows (I have tried the phone version but find that hard work) and the video itself is done with Final Cut for iPad 👍
Hi, can you tell me which toll tag you used through France? It looked like it made the toll road process much easier!
Hi, thanks for watching 👍 it does make the tolls easy - we use the Emovis Tag, they have an office in Harrogate and you can get a tag via their website, the Caravan Club were doing a discount code at one time?
Looks like a great trip. Roll on retirement so we can do a similar trip. Thanks for all the info
Thanks for watching 👍 retirement and a camper is a great combination 👍😎
Excellent filming and editing, a very enjoyable watch! We did our first European trip earlier this year and were at several of the locations you visited. Looking forward to your further adventures 👍🍻
Thank you for watching and for the comment 👍 it is appreciated 👍😎

Hi Guys. Unbelievably we have been watching your travels for a while now. We've just watched your 2023 trip part 2. Lion sur mer stop. We had chatted with you as we were in the silver burstner opposite in the car park. Both sat here and checked our dates. Can't believe we've only just made the connection. Safe travels. We are leaving gor bilbao on 5th May . Mark and Chris from cumbria.
Hi you two, yes we remember, hope you had a fabulous trip, we were very very envious you two just starting your trip, and us ending ours - have a great trip to Spain, we’ll be right behind you as we are heading for Corsica on the 8th May 👍
@@Travels_in_Campi thanks and you too. We will watch and get tips for stops. Safe trip .
@@machhojomeh1755 Thanks for watching the video 👍 the ferry to Spain is something we might do if we do a winter trip next year - have a great time 😎👍
Hi great vlogs. Can I ask you what 360 cam that you use as I am interested in purchasing one 😊
Hi and thanks for the comment 👍 we use an Insta 360 x2 - the latest version came out a couple weeks ago , the Insta 360 X4
Great tour 👍
Thanks for watching the video 👍 it was a great tour 😎
Another great video looking forward tobwatching this adventure 😎
Thank you 👍
Great video I'm now thinking of going to Greece in the motorhome...thankyou to bothif you 😎
Thanks for watching 👍 Greece is fabulous - we’ll definitely go again but we will make it a longer trip, so much to see and do there 😎
Sue was having great fun on that swing at 12:11. Great video. Never fails to keep me happy
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoy the videos - and yes that was Sue throwing her inhibitions to the wind 😎
Did you say the ferry crossing was 6hrs? Any idea re what the arrangements are re Dogs on that crossing? Great video - loved it! The sub titles re the finer detail are brilliant for my note taking! 😊
Portsmouth - Caen is 6 hours and Brittany Ferries have on most routes dog friendly cabins that you can book - the other option is leaving them in the vehicle where you can make arrangements to visit them during the crossing, Brittany Ferries newer boats have kennels but not on that route, hope that helps - Thanks for watching and the comment 👍
I'm very happy to see you back in your video, you have passed close where I live, I wish you a good anniversary.
Thank you 👍 and thanks for watching the video, where were we close to you?
Excellent - what a great adventure 👏👏😎
It was fabulous, thanks for watching and the comment 👍😎🍷
