Flexzilla hoses will kink. The important part is the hose won't 'remember' the kink and keep kinking at that spot. I honestly won't use any other brand of hose.
I stopped the video and at first thought I read CHINA, but upon digging out the magnifying glass, it was indeed SPAIN. I've got one of each of the Eagle Grips for my locking pliers collection and a ton of the Petersen tools, but should I need to add to the collection, I do love Channelock tools.
Hasn't meccano been using a similar design for a long time but smaller?
😂
These don’t come with chalk? I just bought the fine one on Amazon
Sometimes they are sold separately. Did you buy the "Sturdy" chalk box?
Jesus fucking christ, stop talking about the fucking wrench and show it in action.
I made a foot long 15/16ths deep socket for my craftsman 19.2v pass through ratchet to run the jam nut down for a truck air chamber
That's incredible, very impressive.
you think this goofballs ever been on a commercial jobsite?
Come on where it’s the 7/16” for 1/4” rod. As an electrician 1/4” and 3/8” rod are the most commonly used in the industry.
this was designed by an HVAC tool manufacturing...sparky
Maybe someday...
As an Australian. Metric please.
Metric versions will be available later this year!!
I always buy 🇺🇸 when possible.
Hell yea!
Time saver for those that do this a lot.
I can't begin to tell you how many endless nights I prayed for a miracle that would spin a nut on threaded rod!
Your prayers have been answered!!
I guess 1/4" and 5/16" threaded rod users will have to keep using the older methods.
For now. They've got plans to make metric versions and I'd expect more sizes will follow that.
A fidget spinner for the working class.
Looks really cool. I don't work in the field, but I might talk to friends of mine to see what they think.
My starter chord is not coming all the way out. How do i get to it to untangle it?
I don't know, we haven't dealt with that. Did you try reaching out to Generac's customer support? They'll probably have an answer for you.
I am surprised such a nice video has barely been commented on. I am a great fan of American Made Products and I admire the slogan "Made in USA or Not Made At All". When you put your hands on a USA made product, no matter brand new or made decades ago, you immediately feel the "confidence" in its quality. Zillions of thanks and appreciation for presenting this video.
Thanks @ataurrahman2760 !
❤❤ I use an air ratchet ❤❤
That's also a good option 😂😂
Hopefully it’s made in Taiwan and not CHINA!
It's chinese
That's correct.
Of course i know use the tool for it purpose....but why should i spend 300+for a tool i use only once....if there is an slightly worse alternative....
Fair question, this tool is intended for the professional that is mixing substrate materials regularly. If you're only needing to do this once or even twice, it probably doesn't make sense for you. Unless you rented it from somewhere for a quick use.
What situations have you used a gearless ratchet?
Most beautiful tool I’ve seen
It really is!
thanks for the fantastic and extremely helpful video! subbed! Question 1) how do people store the swivel grip hose if not a hose reel? Question 2) Can both hoses work with third-party quick connect kits? (for eg, I'm hoping to use a metal Yardworks quick connect set with these hoses. Thanks so much!!!
You can also coil these on the ground, or on a wall hangar. Also they are standard measurements for hoses, so third party quick connect should work!
Malco Eagle Grip is now owned by Snap On, if you want solid quality from a trje american owned & operated company, Cbannellock Is the way to go
I have their new 9 piece set. They are great . Check out the video
Thanks, glad to hear!
I like Komelon better. I can use it on 90° and 180°. I don't have to worry on having to carry an extra blade in my toolbox because my knife has an extra blade compartment for 3! ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks!
Which of these knives do you think is the best?
I miss the old Fastback. I lost mine years ago and had to buy the new one. It's okay and still has an aluminum frame, but is not as solid as the old design. My biggest concern with the Komelon are those silly plastic tabs for blade storage while Milwaukee and Dewalt keep them captive with the locking mechanism. I can't roll around and press up against stuff and have the spare blade storage open up littering my pocket with razor blades in a tight space. Another point for Milwaukee is flipping the blade around single handed when necessary. It's not ideal, but it is much easier than the other two. I've used the fastback for over a decade basically daily and I like it, so I am biased. The other two will cater to a different use case than what I put my fastback through.
Thanks @@simpledj509chromo7! From holding the Komelon knife, it didn't seem like the blade storage would open on its own, it's got a pretty good mechanism for keeping itself closed. I'm curious if you've run into this issue while using the Komelon knife?
@@WBToolNews I've not used the Komelon yet. I might order one and try it out.
Would you use this in the field or in the shop?
Can this power an air conditioner? And can this be connected to solar panels and receiving solar power as using it?
It can be connected to Generac's solar panels but I'm not convinced it could power a standing AC unit for very long, if at all. Did you end up trying it out?
crap.. milwaukee is 400 lumens,... get red... , and shit-can the &^%!!! music !!!
I might need some help winding mine🥹
Yea, it can be tricky at first. Take your time and you'll get it.
What does “percision” mean?
😂
Looking for something not quite as expensive as the Sturdy Chalk Box? Here's another option, the Ultra-Thin Jam-Free Chalk Line kzread.info/dash/bejne/aKB5xrB_e7aTZbg.html
Do they still make these I can’t find them in there website
Hi there, sadly no. These lights were discontinued shortly after we made this video, it sounded like there was a reason they couldn't discuss. We're bummed though because these are great!
@@WBToolNewsyes sir. I called the company and they are currently getting ready to release a v2! I will wait until then. They would not tell me why they pulled this model though.
@@jonathankrum3016 Thanks for the heads up!
Always!
There’s no comparison to any other brand…..especially for HVAC….if you’re in the trade….these things will make your life so much easier…..they are without a doubt the most important tool in my bag.
Anyone know how well these handle in the cold weather? Say below 20°F
Good Question! We didn't test that, but their website says this: "Environmental Discharge Temperature: -4° F to 104° F Charge Temperature: 32° F to 104° F Storage Temperature (Optimal): 59° F to 77° F Storage Temperature (Max): -4° F to 113° F"
They kink and not just one kink but 3-4 places kinked. That happens under pressure and rolled up carefully after use. Do the kinks cause damage? No there is no evidence afterwards that they'd kinked so they bounce back 100%. At this price point and stating their hoses will not kink I'm disappointed. I like everything else about these hoses but kink proof they're not.
A truly kink-free hose is somewhat of an industry misconception. Like you said, with enough pressure, kinks will happen. The SwivelGrip is close to it because the handle rotates as you pull the hose out.
He never mentioned how long it takes to charge and if the solar inputs are proprietary. Must be all bad news like a Jackery
Yeah! I'm searching for the info
I like old hand tools the best. My dad taught me that quality American made tools last. They outlasted him and unfortunately I didn’t get any of them before my mom gave away a bunch of them. She didn’t have the same appreciation or knowledge for tools. My mom knows a whole lot more about the best sewing machines, etc. I learned from both. As a woman who was a mechanic in the US Air Force on refueling trucks and other heavy equipment for 9 years I know how important really good tools are. We used both tools that were American made and non-American made tools. 100% USA manufactured and assembled tools that are of better quality being something that was/is a matter of pride as well as good for business.
Dracula over here showing off them teeth like he's selling raw meat at a carnivore convention.
What about a vapor barrier play the flooring on to protect the plywood
It would be nice if Flexzilla would make a hose 🐍 that would have both ↔️ one Pro Spiral Bend Restrictor and one Swivel Grip! Best of both worlds when using a hose reel 🌀.
Are they comfortable for standing in all day?
Love mine.
What is the capacity of the battery inside that thing?
Based on the information on their Amazon page, the GB1000 has a capacity of 90-100 watt hours. That may not tell you exactly what you need to know, but they have a real nice infographic if you scroll down on the product page. Hope that helps!
I have an Evan’s lines from 1960 it was my grandfathers (plumber)then my dad’s (hvac) n now it’s mine (carpenter) . It’s all steel and slim design built to last original line still in it and original hook . This new line with 5 gears and braided line is tempting but idk I’m on the fence about it. Betraying my family for new n shiny sexy model or stick with time tested across multiple trades over many years. Dam this is a tough one but don’t fix what isn’t broken as they say
I hear you, sticking with the tried and true is great! But trying a new tool with these bells and whistles may result in you working faster for the same effort. Some food for thought.
Well i use this for my water line for my pressure washer trailer setup. Cons: My issue with them is that they start to curling up and it's a pain to straighten them out when water and pressure are in the line. Yes, they still do kink. No one can make a kink free hose. Pros: There're light weight, very visible.
Thanks Michael, are you talking about the swivelgrip or the garden hose?
@@WBToolNews Garden hose.
@@michaelc7283 Yea, the main advantage of the SwivelGrip is that it drastically reduces the chance of memory and kinks because you can unwind it just by pulling on the hose. Since the garden hose doesn't have that, it can occasionally get kinked up.
Annular cutters are great but come with one major pitfall. You cant sharpen them at home like a normal drill bit.
It's the "SNICKERS 1100“ jacket and I've been wearing one of these jackets for over two years. I score this jacket 10/10 in just about everything. My only disappointment is it's not waterproof. It's only water resistant. This is a deal breaker for me because on rainy days I know I will come home wet.
Thanks for sharing, Chris. Did you happen to try spraying a waterproof coating on it? I wonder if that would do the job.
One of this jackets properties is that it's made of breathable fabric designed to maintain a constant temperature of 37.5 degrees centigrade in which the jacket performs very well. Treating it with a waterproof coating might work.... I might try it. Thank you
Great explanation. I've always really liked Estwing products.
