My knowledge in aviation is somewhat limited, so i felt my a.. puckered thinking the flimsy looking aircraft would fold at any moment when doing hard aerobatic maneuvers. Are these ultralight so strong that you can’t break it? Lots of courage to push flimsy machines to their limits.Any parachute? Is there an history of wing folding on these aicrafts? Or the flimsy skin on the wing shreds away reducing lift asymetrically sending you in a death spiral? Otherwise, looks like an awesome sport.

There have only been a few arabatically stressed ultra lights and the Phantom is one of them.It is somewhat limited by the air speed to can generate.But it's stressed to 9 positive and six negative g's. It has an airframe parachute

Exactly the same experience for me. I first was blessed to hear this beautiful piece "Sleepy Shores" as a child, over the classical radio station WDOK FM 102 in the 70's. Thier slogan was "All Day, All Night, All Nice...WDOK FM 102. While this played in the background. INSTANT Favorite.

Mainly the 2 seat has more room. It can also cover much more distance. I don't carry many passengers

when i read the title i assumed trixie was your wife, i could never see trixie being that comfortable in a phantom, now i see why you switched to more chill and versatile aircraft like the adventura, but unfortunatley for me i have no pilots license, so have to stick with ULs for now.

very cool! I do have a question......what does moderate turbulence feel like in a small craft like that? I know what it can make a jumbo jet feel like having been a passenger so many times, but I can't imagine what it's like in a plane like that.

It definitely makes you want to be back on the ground. In general, we fly on good days and at altitudes that aren't that rough. There is always a better day to fly
