@@blackiesmisadventures3413 probably the same… I haven’t done that yet as there are heaps of places here in Aus. But the idea of being somewhere on your own and isolated is pretty cool.

Decals came up well. Job looks good. What were you changing your original panels they looked ok.

A mate of mine sold his BMW1200GS and is happy with the 2023 Honda CB500X as he is a short arse and is hitting 68. Smaller, better fuel economy and lighter.
Great riding. It scares me when riders take the centre of a cattle grid. I've seen many riders coming a cropper because of the gap in the middle. Boy has the Condamine crossings changed. Went through there in 2019 after 2 weeks rain. Total shit show.
You got me thinking now… did I go through the middle??? I do find the middle better as there is usually not pot holes there… but I think you mean the grids where there is none in the middle?

Thanks for the video! I was thinking about this the other day, but the other way around. I ordered the Rhinowalk mounting base yesterday to try on my 95 Suzuki Bandit 600. I was thinking if the Kriega OS adventure bags will fit. That harness just got 4 D rings to attach the bags and molle webbing. I still have to wait for delivery and if it fits I will make up my mind about what bags to use. In the meantime I'm happy I stumbled across this video!

@@bbtim9127 hé man! It’s fits pretty good on the old Bandit. I tried the setup with the 10liter bag on the exhaust side and 15 liter waterproof bag on the other side. I haven’t been able to drive with this setup, my last camping trip I did without the harness, just the 30 liter RW bag and the 15 liter on top. Too bad I can’t really show you pictures here. Edit: I recently bought the tank harnass from RW as well which fits great on the Bandit and holds the 10 liter bag very nicely!
I went from a 17 cb500x to an Africa twin . Two years with that made me realise the cb500x was the only bike you need . I’ve had a 2020 for the past 3 years and won’t be getting rid of it any time soon. When I do it will be for an nx 500 . I’ve just last week put a set of mitas e07 tyres on it and it’s opened up a whole new degree of riding to me . The only downside is that it’s no that great at highways. But in the uk you don’t need to use motorways unless you’re in a hurry.
The CB is such a great bike! But right now I am loving the T7!!

Sadly these great adventures need stuff packed tightly on the bike, the longer the ride the more stuff and then the less dynamic the bike becomes with each extra kilo, to the point where one has to wait for the mates to help with the righting of the bike once dropped.
Agree… our setups are generally very light.

What seat do you have on the f800?
I believe it’s the upgraded seat by BMW. It’s not the stock seat for sure.
Started 8 years ago on a CB500X. 7 bikes and a few accidents later, the last a 1200cc Aprilia Caponord Rally, brilliant bike, I’m back to the latest CB500X. It’s a big improvement on the earlier model and I don’t miss all that weight one bit. Also love the lack of of mods which allows you to just add what you want. I ride it with so much more confidence. It’s nice to get a new bike but it’s a bit of a con to believe you need something bigger heavier and with all the bells and whistles.

Watch that pannier to pipe clearance, it will melt real fast if it bounces against the hot exhaust.
You should consider a B&B rack or similar being the biggest omission by Yamaha on the T7.

When I go away I make sure I have my mobile phone to call the motel and book a room stuff camping.
Half my gear are for cooking and i think im packed for total apocalyps, saw, axe and much more. Just for a 2 night trip, I WILL NOT DIE… 😅 So i sold my Reckless 80 kit, and downsizing. Just a dufflebag and tankbag. I need to get my shit in there and what not to bring. The journey of downsizing begins.

Good choice of bike. I had a MT07 and did 20,000 miles trouble free. Now have at 700 tracer with 13,000 miles trouble free. Both bikes the gearbox's were fine clunks into 1st gear but then changes just fine. I get 75/80 MPG (UK) so the tank range is fine. Good luck and ride safe.
