In my opinion laffah has one of the best shawermas but it isn’t the cheapest you can get 5AED shawerma at some places but it’s quite rare but laffah is definitely one of the bests
Beautiful video Simon 😊. It's nice to know you were in Bahrain. I was also there for 15 years and it was a nice experience. The Marino hotel is one of the best in Colombo right now and yes they do some nice food and good surroundings and rooms too. If you like to have a good high tea experience I suggest you can try the one in Grandbell hotel they do it every Saturday afternoon and you can book it and enjoy a wide range of food which will be a good experience and the hotel is good too since you like to travel around Colombo. I love that you love the Dosa stuff they are so tasty and yummy in Bahrain also I love to gowri Krishna in gudebiya it was my favorite. Enjoy your stay and hope you love the hospitality and take care stay safe always 😊😊

I agree with you about Galle Face Hotel. I wanted to stay there because of its fame not to mention because Arthur C Clark stayed there. However, it seems to be permanently under renovation. The food was mediocre. Preferred the Taj opposite
@@vijayafernando1 living on past glory I would say. Colombo has way too many other places to stay now that put this hotel in the lower league. Not done the Taj yet will give it a go.

Super dirty too mate...I lived there for few weeks for over a span of 6 years. Hygiene is an elusive word in India, though loved the food varieties, tried a few street food there out of no choice.
