Hi Mike, I found this to be very interesting. The shameless you saw on NF Costa Rica was actually the original British show, the US show is a copy of it. They are both pretty good, but I think the US version is a little bit better.

Did you just had a brain-fart ? Really Andrew, You ? A total loser who tried to make it in Costa Rica as a builder and developer for a few years, crashed, disconnected or changed his phone and disappeared ! Anybody else might see a huge potential in Puntarenas, cheap waterfront property with a private dock right in front of a now protected mangrove area with countless birds, crocs, monkeys and many other animals. Not to mention the waterways which can easily be explored by boat or kayak (video coming ). All this close to the capital with an infrastructure most beach towns dream about. Needless to say, there is still some way to go, but Puntarenas is cleaning up nicely and they are doing a good job improving things. But what can I say, you as a professional developer, builder and tour guide are surely well aware of all this. Yes, a Crocodile, there are a few. This one was about 500m passed the Puerto Azul. The info about the fishing boats is direct from the owners / fishers. They are basically neighbors. You can see this yourself, they haven't been used in a long time and wouldn't they be out fishing ?
