Exactly, you are using sub par tools to flip homes as cheap as possible, but reserve your quality tools for your personal work. Another reason to not buy flip properties and I am a licesned Realtor LOL - Ryobi has its place for sure. I use it and Festool.

Interesting comment. People that follow my channel know I’m all about transparency. Most folks buying their first laser don’t have a copy of light burn. The point of this video was an unboxing and overview. In fairness, I have not tested lightburn with this unit as of yet. I will actually be making a video showing how to install and set it up. In due time I’ll find out if your comments hold any value. Appreciate the comment.

Everyone seems to gloss over the focal height. I like the idea of the manual focus block but no one will tell me the ideal focal height for my 600x400 60w Omtech. There's nothing in the manual and the only online reference I have seen is 1.5" to 2.5" which I tried and it gave terrible results as the cutting was wide and undefined.
@RISENGRINDWORKSHOP2 ай бұрын
Your laser came with a factory focal height tool. Next run a “ramp” test. Then download a focal height tool. Ramp test will show you your best focal length. Use the new height tool and measure where the ramp test was best. That’s your optimal focal height to the “surface” of material for raster engraving. 👍🏼

I've owned my Ryobi 18ga nailer for less than a year and I can't believe how quickly I can take care of little projects around the house. What's great about this tool is that I'm relying on it for more projects. Without thinking about it I'll grab it off the toolbox line up my pieces fire 2 shots and I'm done with it. Just measure the diameter, and the radius(center of the circle) is exactly half of that. This is 3rd grade math. That's overcomplicating a simple solution.
@RISENGRINDWORKSHOP3 ай бұрын
People are clueless when it comes to finding the “exact” center. Run this on a CNC with a circle boarder and even being off 1/16 is an incredible eye sore! For average stuff sure this is overkill. But CNC operators can appreciate what’s going on here!
