    é possivel imprimir peças com esses mecanismo em resina ? tenho receido de imprimir e não funcionar em resina abs

  • @Gambody_com
    @Gambody_comКүн бұрын

    Thanks for your question! Let us clarify, there isn't a common resin type called "ABS resin." ABS is typically a filament material used in FDM/FFF printing, while resin is used in DLP/SLA printers. The good news is, the Maximilian model comes in two versions: FFF/FDM and DLP/SLA. Both versions include mechanisms like active hip joints, spring-mounted legs, and movable leg flaps. In the DLP/SLA version of the Maximilian model, some mechanisms like the active hip joints aren't included due to the brittleness of the resin. For the Maximilian model, it is better to stick with the designated DLP/SLA version if you're using a resin printer. For additional guidance, we've prepared an article on our Gambody Blog on the best resin printing tips for orienting models: www.gambody.com/blog/best-resin-printing-tips-for-orienting-models-on-sla-dlp-lcd-3d-printers/. In addition, we recommend checking out our blog article, "Free Beginner’s Guide to 3D Printing": www.gambody.com/blog/what-i-need-to-know-after-buying-a-3d-printer-guide-for-beginners/. Is PLA+ suitable, or is PETG or another material recommended?

  • @Gambody_com
    @Gambody_comКүн бұрын

    Thank you for your question! Choosing the right filament for the Robotech VF-1 Valkyrie model is essential for achieving optimal results. While both PLA+ and PETG have their merits, PLA+ generally excels at capturing the intricate details of this iconic model. Its ability to produce smooth, high-quality prints makes it a popular choice for detailed figurines. However, when durability and flexibility are paramount for the model's moving parts, PETG may be a better-fit choice that offers greater toughness, making it suitable for components that experience stress. To achieve the best of both worlds, you could consider a hybrid approach. Utilize PLA+ for the majority of the model, focusing on detail and precision, and then employ PETG for specific components that require extra resilience. This strategy can help you create a Robotech VF-1 Valkyrie model that not only looks stunning but also functions smoothly. Successful 3D printing often involves experimentation, so don't hesitate to try different filaments and settings to find the perfect combination for your project. We hope you find this information helpful! And don't forget, your Gambody purchase comes with lifetime technical support, so if you have specific questions about settings for your 3D printer model or need assistance from our Team, please don't hesitate to ask. We'll be happy to help you dial in those settings for a fantastic print of your Maximilian model!

    Are you familiar with the miniature game blood and plunder? I hope you are, and if so at waht percentage would you recommend to print this? Also, I see the hull has a stand to be use as a display base, is it possible to not print the very bottom part of it making sure the hull is completely flat so it can be use for tabletop games??

  • @Gambody_com
    @Gambody_com5 күн бұрын

    Thank you for your comment and interest in the Black Pearl model! Absolutely - Blood & Plunder is indeed an awesome game! Since their ships are primarily designed at 28 mm scale (crew miniature height), this translates to roughly 1:50-1:60 scale. The Black Pearl model comes in the recommended scale of 1:64 and measures 653 mm high, 278 mm wide, and 707 mm deep when printed. You can print the model as is or adjust the scale slightly to match the Blood & Plunder. To achieve a 1:60 scale for the Black Pearl model, you can upscale the files by 6.66% (print them at 106.66%), resulting in a model that is approximately 696 mm high, 297 mm wide, and 754 mm deep. It's important to make sure that your 3D printer can accommodate the upscaled parts and that all files are scaled consistently for seamless assembly. Regarding your request to modify the hull for a flat bottom suitable for tabletop gaming, our team can certainly assist you with this customization. Please contact our Support Team at [email protected] and duplicate your request. When you purchase a model from Gambody, you not only receive high-quality, high-poly 3D printable STL files but also benefit from lifetime technical support included in the model's price. • @Gambody_com

    Thanks for your comment! The Death Star I model, like many other models available on our marketplace, comes in 2 versions: FFF/FDM for filament 3D printers and DLP/SLA for resin 3D printers. Choosing the right 3D printer depends on several factors such as your budget, project requirements, and desired outcomes. For versatile and dynamic models, we recommend starting with FDM printers like the Creality Ender-3 Series, Anycubic Kobra Series, or Prusa Mini+. These options are user-friendly and have plenty of resources and tutorials to help you achieve great results! Alternatively, if you're looking for highly detailed static prints, resin 3D printers such as the Anycubic Photon or Elegoo Mars Series are ideal. While resin printing may have a slightly steeper learning curve, it delivers flawless prints with exceptional resolution. For more guidance on selecting the right 3D printer, we have a comprehensive article listing some of the best affordable options available: www.gambody.com/blog/best-cheap-3d-printer-to-get-in-2021/. Additionally, we offer convenient bundle options that include both 3D printers and selected 3D printing models, providing a seamless entry into the world of 3D printing. You can explore our bundle options here: www.gambody.com/search?tag=3d-printer. We recommend checking out our blog article, "Free Beginner’s Guide to 3D Printing": www.gambody.com/blog/what-i-need-to-know-after-buying-a-3d-printer-guide-for-beginners/. Thank you for your feedback on the Tank M1A2 Abrams Tusk model! We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We'd like to clarify that the Tank M1A2 Abrams Tusk model is designed to be compatible with both FFF/FDM and DLP/SLA/SLS 3D printers. For the FFF/FDM version, the assembly parts are provided in STL files with recommended orientations to ensure the best possible surface finish and minimize the need for extensive support material. In addition, the model is divided into convenient parts to reduce filament usage and simplify the printing process. In terms of scale, the FFF/FDM version is at 1:35, while the DLP/SLA/SLS version is scaled at 1:48. These scales are based on the actual length of the M1A2 Abrams Tusk, which is 9800 mm. If you encounter any difficulties during printing or assembly, please don't hesitate to contact our Support Team at [email protected]. When contacting us, please include details about the issue, the 3D printer model you're using, the names of specific parts causing trouble, and, if possible, photos of the problematic areas. Thanks for your interest in the UD-4L Cheyenne Dropship! To be clear, at Gambody, we focus on providing top-notch STL files for fantastic 3D models inspired by all your favorite universes. These files are compatible with most 3D printers or 3D printing services, but we don't handle the printing or shipping ourselves. Here's how we can help you bring this awesome Dropship to life in a 20-inch glory: To achieve that impressive size, you'll need to upscale the files of the FFF/FDM version by 20% (printing them at 120%). It's important to ensure that all parts fit comfortably within the build volume of your printer and maintain consistent scaling for seamless post-print assembly. For precise measurements of each part, please refer to the model page under the "Source Files" section, specifically in the "Object Size" tab within the table: www.gambody.com/3d-models/ud-4l-cheyenne-dropship. If you don't have access to a 3D printer, we highly recommend our partner service, Treatstock: www.treatstock.co.uk. They connect you with reliable 3D printing services in your area. The final cost can vary depending on a few factors: Material: The type of material you choose, like filament for FDM or resin for SLA, will impact the price. Model Size: As you've opted for a larger size, expect the cost to reflect the increased material usage. Service Provider Location: Prices can differ slightly based on the location of the printing service. Treatstock is a fantastic platform to explore! You can compare pricing, get quotes from different providers based on your specific needs, and find the service that best suits your budget and location. We hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions about the model or finding a service.

  • @Gambody_com
    @Gambody_com16 күн бұрын

    Hey there! Thanks for contacting us and for your interest in the Spazer model! While the Spazer model comes in a recommended 1:107 scale for the FFF/FDM version, that's just a starting point - the beauty of the high-poly models available on our marketplace is that they can be upscaled to an impressive size without losing detail! To achieve your desired 1:44 scale from the original 1:107, you can use this handy formula: Scaling Percentage = (Original Scale / Desired Scale) × 100 Here's the math for the Spazer: (107 / 44) × 100 ≈ 243%. This means that you need to upscale the model parts by 143% (printing them at 243%). It's important to ensure that all parts fit comfortably within the build volume of your printer and maintain consistent scaling for seamless post-print assembly. For precise measurements of each part, please refer to the model page under the "Source Files" section, specifically in the "Object Size" tab within the table: www.gambody.com/3d-models/spazer-grendizer. We hope this helps you achieve the perfect 1:44 Spazer model! If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Would this still print well scaled down? If this is really 43 inches tall I'd want to scale it down to around 40-50%

  • @Gambody_com
    @Gambody_comАй бұрын

    Hey there! Thanks for your question about scaling the Barad-dur model! It's a fantastic choice, and understanding scale is crucial for planning your 3D print. At the recommended scale of 1:1500 for the FFF/FDM version, the Barad-dur model will indeed stand at an impressive 43.7 inches tall. If you're aiming for a more manageable size around 40-50% smaller, here are some options to consider: - DLP/SLA version: The model also comes in a 1:3000 scale version specifically designed for resin printers. This option is half the size of the FFF/FDM version, making it a great fit for your desired 40-50% reduction. If you happen to have access to a resin 3D printer, we recommend using the DLP/SLA version of the model and printing it at the recommended 1:3000 scale. - Downscaling for FDM Printing: While we generally advise against downscaling models for filament 3D printers, it's not completely out of the question. FFF/FDM printers tend to struggle with very small details when printing downscaled models. This can lead to issues like weak or missing details and difficulties during assembly. However, if you're willing to potentially address some minor detail loss and take extra care during assembly, downscaling by 10-20% may be an option. On the other hand, upscaling is perfectly safe with the models available on our marketplace! The high-poly nature of the models allows for impressive size increases without compromising quality. Remember, when you purchase a model from the Gambody marketplace, you not only get high-quality, high-poly 3D printable STL files, but you also benefit from lifetime technical support - all seamlessly included in the price of the model. If you need to adjust the files to fit the build volume of your printer or have any other customization needs such as enhancing intricate details or optimizing the model's structure to save material, we've got you covered! Feel free to explore the details, and if you have any further questions, we're here to help.

    @@Gambody_comI'm new to 3d printing so this might be a stupid question, but what is the real difference from the FDM model and the DLP/SLA model aside from scale? Could I just print that with my FDM 3d printer? Or are they configured differently?

  • @Gambody_com
    @Gambody_comАй бұрын

    @@OctoPenicle Thanks for the question! The FFF/FDM and DLP/SLA versions of the models available on our marketplace are designed for different printing technologies, and that goes beyond just scale. FFF/FDM versions are typically larger and designed for filament printers with larger build volumes. DLP/SLA versions are smaller and optimized for resin printers with higher detail capabilities. Typically, FFF/FDM versions have more assembly parts designed for sturdiness and to handle the printing process well with rigid plastic materials. DLP/SLA versions, on the other hand, may have fewer parts with simpler connections, making assembly easier since resin prints are more delicate. While this Barad-dur model has the same number of parts that are identical in both versions, we still do not recommend downscaling the FFF/FDM version. Filament 3D printers struggle with tiny details on downscaled models, potentially leading to missing details or weak parts that are difficult to assemble. Since you're new to 3D printing, we have a Beginner's Guide that might be helpful! It covers some essential things to know when you're just getting started: www.gambody.com/blog/what-i-need-to-know-after-buying-a-3d-printer-guide-for-beginners/. I printed the parts lying down as in the description but on the top layers there are ugly blops or something any idea? Or better prrint them standing?

  • @Gambody_com
    @Gambody_comАй бұрын

    Hello, thank you for contacting us about the blobbing issues with your Star Destroyer print. We're sorry to hear that you experienced this! Please note that the parts in the FFF/FDM version of the Star Destroyer model are already oriented by our Moderation Team for optimal printing. This orientation has been carefully chosen to ensure smooth details and easy placement on the build plate, especially for beginners. We recommend that you print them in this orientation for best results. Now, blobbing on top layers can be caused by a few things. One possible reason could be the retraction settings in your slicer. When the filament retracts during travel moves, a little extra may come out, leaving blobs on the top layers. Try calibrating your retraction distance and speed to minimize oozing. Another potential cause is inadequate cooling settings. Make sure your printer's cooling fan is working properly, and consider increasing the fan speed for the top layers. In addition, we highly recommend using the printing settings provided by our Team for the most popular FDM slicers - Cura, Bambu Lab, Simplify3D, Slic3r, and PrusaSlicer - which can be found on the model page in the "Printing Details" tab: www.gambody.com/3d-models/star-destroyer. To help us further diagnose the problem and provide more specific advice, could you provide some additional information? Knowing your 3D printer model and seeing pictures of the affected areas, including part names, would be very helpful. Feel free to send this information to our Support Team at [email protected]. @Gambody_comАй бұрын

    Thank you for your interest in our marketplace! The USS Voyager model comes in recommended scales of 1:700 for the FFF/FDM version and 1:1400 for the DLP/SLA version. While we generally advise against downscaling models or using smaller versions on filament 3D printers due to potential loss of detail and assembly complications, upscaling is harmless and allows for impressive results due to the high-poly nature of the models we provide. If you want to print the USS Voyager model in 1:350 scale, you'll need to upscale the files of the FFF/FDM version by 100% (print at 200%). It's important to ensure that all parts fit comfortably within the build volume of your printer and maintain consistent scaling for seamless post-print assembly. For precise measurements of each part, please refer to the model page under the "Source Files" section, specifically in the "Object Size" tab within the table: www.gambody.com/3d-models/uss-voyager. Thank you for contacting us! We're sorry that the Gipsy Avenger 3D printing model does not fit together perfectly! To help with troubleshooting, could you please send some additional details to our Support Team at [email protected]?
