one thing to consider, anomaly and ice will not be the main weakness from the 1.1 patch, so zhu and shark will not get through content so easily. now physical and electric chars in other hand...
also jane looks super fun

I’m stuck who to pull for, because I can pull for Zhu Yuan cause I like her game play. Or I could pull for Qingyi because she would be a second stunner for me (I have Lycaon). Or I could pull for Jane Doe cause I really like the anomaly play style, and maybe she would work well with Miyabi and that’s a plus. So do you have any suggestions.

Don't sleep on Grace / Rina / Jane. Jane is absolutely going to be a character for proc'ing Disorder off of Shock/Burn/Corruption. She'll pair best with Electric/Fire/Ether anomaly characters going forward.
Anby would be a better choice than rina
Idk why would you need to pull for jean doe if you already have nekomata. Physical anomaly is kinda weak unless they artificially blow jean's numbers to make her op. 1) we already have nekomata with absolutely the same play style. 2) physical is weak. 3) L char idk. absolutely lacks uniqueness If you had no time to get Ellen, then you 100% pulled Zhu. So you have at least 1 S attacker and she's meta. With so many polychromes you definitely pulled another good or playable attacker. You certainly now have 2 teams. Why would you need to waste your pulls for half-assed attacker (not even attacker)? I only see one explanation and its for the collection. In the worst case you skip jean and then 100% get miyagi, miyabi or w/e she's called. And she will be meta for sure and much stronger.
This is an L take, lol. Assault is one of the nastiest procs in the game - it's why even Piper is seeing decent usage in Shiyu Defense. And Jane Doe will be a *much better* Piper. Jane will be nothing like Nekomata, lol
@@h4llw4x0rz lol, great argument, lol, a good reason to waste your pulls to enjoy your physical anomaly procs, lol, and then skip pulls for a better attack character you won't have enough pulls for and which one wont ever be compatible with good for nothing Doe, lol, but at least you have anomaly with "DECENT" usage in Shiyu Defense, lol, instead of clearing every high end content consistently, lol. Even this video tells you what to expect from the character yet my take is L. "lol"
@@MrDSLow there will be a new game mode added where you cannot use stuns on enemies and it is 100% anomaly oriented as at least Zhu kit is 100% based on bursting during the stun, so it is much more wise to invest in 1 op attack based team and 1 anomaly team, Jane is nothing like physical attacker, she is meant to be paired with Grace and Seth to almost instantly proc disorded and deal massive dmg, it may be a little worse team for shiyu then zhu + qyingi or ellen + lyca, but they are going to be faar faar faaaar better team for this new game mode, so your arguments that skipping Jane to focus on your attacker teams to clear end game more efficiently are sorry but a huge SHIT
@@dominikmurasicki4360 yes, a good old whatabout. I can say that there will be a new mode where you need a defender character so you must roll for Ben and the next def character asap. It is not like with the new mode they will introduce a character that is fit to clear said new mode right? You are free to pull for a character which you won't be able to utilize until a miraculous new mode will show up, good for you bud. And it's not like we already have good anomaly characters in the game, right? Also with your beloved physical anomaly. Imagine if Grace + Piper existed, yeah
Don't understand the commotion with what i've said. Like if you aim for character for whatever reason - good for you. Even more, you will have the best character in the game, wow (somewhere in the future, probably). How nice is it, right. I just rolled 2 times an S rank bangboo within first 10 pulls (80-70). I wish my luck was like that with zhu and ellen. Basically I only need to roll for Revolver one and am stocked
I got grace and lycon and Seth is gonna be electric and I got nekomata so Jane doe is a no brainer for me but you definitely underselling Jane doe bias or not
With Soldier 11 and Grace my account is suffering on clear speed . I skipped ellen as i did not get lyacon luck . with the new events teased my best option might be to wait for Jane Doe and try for the disorder team combo with the grace i have . Zhu Yen and Qingyi seem great but i dont have the best luck and dont have enough pulls to guarntee x2 limited characters. as hard as it is im going to wait till the very end of mouse mommy's banner see the banner leaks and decide there

I read that Jane doe will have her passive up with either an anomaly unit or faction unit. Not with physical units so might not work with Nekomata.

Will save for Miyabi instead since I don't have enough pulls for my f2p account + it's a 50-50. Will just build on what I have as of the moment. Team 1: Zhu Yuan + Nicole + Anby - Team 2: Lycaon (as DPS) + Rina + Soukaku
Definitely think Jane doe is the safer pick. The chance we see another phys/anomaly is low and she synergizes with other anomaly so no power creep. I think qingyi can be really good if you have the resources to get her weapon + her C1 but that’s not super reasonable this early
The risk is that assault isn't one of the 3 damage over time anomaly effects and an ether and/or fire anomaly unit comes out that synergizes better with disorder.
@@jaegybombwe don’t know if double dots is the anomaly meta tho. The huge burst plus daze increase is really valuable for a team that probably doesn’t have room for a stun character

Jane doe is the better banner to pull on especially if you have zhu. Seth is a must have for anomaly teams as he proivides mastery increase and anomaly res defense down. Also on her banner you get amby mindscapes which is great for zhu teams as the calculated effectives between quingyi and amby is not that huge espicallly with amby c6
teehee. . . anby feels terrible in shiyu, 3 wet noodle slaps only to have to dodge or assist before her real daze attacks. . . maybe you're just a wet noodle kinda boy i suppose :p
@@WhiteTrashDiva Actually invest in her and she'll do respectable damage. Also, dodge counter gives her energy regen. If you don't invest in QingYi she'll also just do wet noodle slaps and lower the quality of your shock damage, same difference.
I have Zhu Yuan and only 1 stunner (Anby) so getting another stunner would be nice. But I rather just wait for another element plus I plan to run anomaly on my 2nd team which probably doesn’t even need a stunner. Also was a little disappointed to see Qingyi would only clear a little bit faster than Anby in Zhu Yuan teams, I expected a bigger upgrade I also probably gonna go for Jane’s engine so maybe I will get C6R5 Anby while I do it meanwhile getting 2 nee characters on my 2nd team. So basically I would get 3 upgrades for my teams compared to 1

Qingyi is kinda like Ellen, you can go directly from EX into 3rd hit of basic string, even better. . you can dodge from 3rd hit, directly into 3rd hit, or even do aa perfect dodge counter, without restarting the normal string... it's day and night from Anby and her clunkyness. . . now i like her story wise, if a bit to introvert, but shes horrible to play in shiyu with

even though i don't have zhu yuan and won't pull for her now that i've seen qingyi, i still plan to pull for qingyi because she will fit ANY future attacker that i want, and I like qingyi's design. i'm mostly holding out for an attacker i'll really personally like the aesthetic of, so might be waiting a while lol, but the extra stun damage still will still be good on any team
i think thats a good idea. . totally getting her myself. . might even try for the M1 . . all that nice stuff AND a half nicole shoved in by defence shred too
I have Ellen+Lycaon and I'm bored of traditional stun+dps style, there no way I'm making 2nd team of same style, that's why I skipping Zhu Yuan and Qingyi. Jane playstyle looks fun, with crits on assault + Seth is on her banner who perfect for her. Nekomata is bad for Jane because they're fighting for field time. If disorders are the future then Jane+Seth+Grace(Yanagi in 1.2) if you don't have Grace - Jane+Seth+Rina(maybe Lucy?) so Jane can have max field time
Nekomate is bad because her core revolves around counters or quick assists, Jane needs an anomaly or faction memeber, until a support from Janes faction comes, who can quick assist nekomata in, those two are terrible together (M1 nekomata user)

@@chimichangle lets see. . so far he seems interesting for sure. . . for me, it kinda depends on what types Janes passive activate with. . . Some enemies in shiyu doesn't even have anomaly meters, so if she activates on another anomaly, not sure i'm even interested. definately getting Qingyi tho, that 60% stun damage means like 40% damage increase against the toughest enemies with base 150% daze multiplier... and the way she dodges directly in and out of her best basic attacks, even with counter attacks inbetween. . . night and day difference from Anby
Ellen + Lycaon is a very different experience than Zhu Yuan + Qingyi, just saying. And yes while it isn't fun to go full meta, at the moment anomaly just doesn't clear Shiyu Defense effectively. Maybe once everyone is maxed out. Until then, making sure you get all attributes is way more important. So no clue why you are skipping the strongest Ether for 1.1 and possibly 1.2.
@@Cali_wow_HC When you have Ellen and a standard S attacker. . you can play at least any shiyu stage without going against resistance. . .Personally Zhu Yuans playstyle does not jive with me, at all . . So going for more supportive style banners for now, stunners, supports and such
To be honest I might run a zhu yuan Nicole and Jane doe team to could work anomaly characters could work as a mixed stunner. Jane doe also just has a lot of crowd control moves so mixing her with the best attacker could work with disorder.
A mixed stunner is nowhere near reliable as a true stunner, you will miss out on procing as lot more chain attacks which means less zhu bullets, stun damage amp for zhu and also completely lose out on Jane does passive since you don't have another anomaly
i use Nekomata, Piper and Nicole. . and i can tell ya. . .it doesn't stun very good... You can make it work, so far did Shiyu 16 with Ellen on other side. . but it's not good stunning. Zhu Yuan needs good stunning, or shes like a guy whos been drinking too much . . a wet noodle
I feel like Jane doe banner will give you anby copies and 2 new characters. Just seems so much more value than qingye with 2 physical dps units I also feel like better stunners will come out in the future so I don’t feel bad missing qingye
Jan doe is not an attacker so you still need Nekomata for the damage.

what method for only A-rank char and not for S-rank?
Impact doesn't scale with level (you don't get more impact with level like you do attack), so your stunners don't have to be lv60. Max out all your damage dealers first, and only upgrade the rest when you have spare stamina/resources.
So for the limited banner do I use single summons until I get to 70 for do 10x pulls all the way ?
MATT IM SORRY I DID A 10 PULL ON ZHU YUANS BANNER WITH 2 PITY AND GOT ZHU YUAN, AND SO I TRIED FOR HER WEAPON AND GOT THAT IN 10 PULLS AS WELL!!

There is an error in your calculations of the amount of Senior Investigator Log. You missed the level 40-50, for which you need 75. In total, you need 150 to 50, and 300 to 60.

Is anyone else disappointed by the lack of male characters so far? 3 limited banners and 0 S ranked males. On top of this there is ONLY ONE S ranked male character (a 1:8 ratio?!!!), who is a wolf, not even human, on the STANDARD banner. Don’t get me wrong, I love my female characters, but it’s kind of getting annoying how we have minimal cool male characters with it seemingly remaining with this unbalanced for ratio for the foreseeable future. Banners are the selling point of hoyo’s games. Having to wait for the current banner to finish only to be met with 15 more days of waiting for someone who isn’t a “cute waifu” as people call them really kills the will to keep playing as it gets repetitive waiting half a month to be met with the same thing each time.
