Sorry, I've just seen this message. I could certainly make one up; its very simple to do. I'm not a massive fan of them but don't like to dump older models.

I'm really admiring that layout baseboard! Is this something that can be purchased, or something that you made?

I had a similar problem with DJ's LNER J94. It ran well for about 5 minutes and then died without any warning

Typical...DJM was all talk about his superior quality and how he would have every model personally test etc etc. Absolutely rubbish. Been hearing about so many issues with the 14xx/15xx models. He's just like, if not worse than every other manufacturer. He's only living on the biased views of a lot of members and admins on RMweb

Hi Nick, May I just ask please? How did you do this conversion? Is it described anywhere please? Many thanks, John E.

Hi John, Thanks for your comment. I converted it using Ultrascale Southern Railway tender wheels, cutting th axle in half and then soldering a wire to the axle and the outer edge of the wheel. Details here on my workbench thread www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/topic/89357-brinkly-works-00-sf-wagons/ It's a couple of pages in. Kind regards, Nick

Thanks Nick, I'll give that a bit of study. More than one way of skinning a cat, it seems! Cheers, John.
