An episode that challenges Daria to come to a realization about herself: She does care about her appearance and worries that it makes her a hypocrite to her own personal integrity and philosophy. She gets hung up about wearing contacts as she opposes them from a vanity standpoint, but she does not realize that contacts aren't just for looks, but there's utility in them as well which is what her mother tries (but fails) to inform her of. Interestingly enough even though Daria falls into a minor breakdown over ditching her glasses but not wearing the contacts over actually enjoying the new perspective others have on her, it takes Brittney of all people to remind Daria what really is important. Unlike Jane who tries to help Daria shrug her problem off, or Jodi to help her see the logic, Brittney reminds Daria that she's only human and seeing Daria care about her appearance despite being more intellectually motivated than Brittney actually helps Brittney realize she may not be so shallow herself, and thus helps Daria realize that its okay to be you, no matter what you wear.

Obviously you wasn't around watching this film when it first came out back in 1988 and seeing the michael jackson thriller zombie scene in this at that time was funny everyone i know who watched it was laughing at that part as being funny and not eye rolling like you did lol. Early films like this back in the day was viewed differently to what people think watching it for the first time today. The original score is in this film but your watching the version with it taken out and been replaced by a different one. This movie is sillier than the first film and at times is totally eye rollingly silly. It is what it is. 😂 I'm sure plenty of people think it's funny. Who cares? And yeah, I complained the music wasn't as good as the first film, but others in the comments told me it had been changed, so I'm glad there is a better version out there.

And it's just plain not true that everyone liked this movie at the time and that all the jokes were funny. I wasn't watching it in any way that would be different in any other era. I was watching it because I'm a fan of 1 & 3 and I was hoping I would like this film. I've liked lots of films like this on my channel that other people don't like Candyman 3 and Hills Have Eyes 2. I watch mostly 70s, 80s, and 90s movies in my personal life so I don't judge movies by modern standards. I don't like many modern films compared to older stuff. I was looking forward to this one because Bobby from Twin Peaks was in it. But this is a sequel that just copies the original's formula but is way less in quality and the humor doesn't land for me. I do these reactions because I love sharing my experience whether I end up liking the movie or not. I love watching horror movies regardless if they are good or bad, it's still super fun. I had a lot of fun watching this. And I don't watch these to get views or I wouldn't pick things like Candyman 3, Basket Case 3, Hills Have Eyes 2, Night of the Demons 3 and a bunch of Hong Kong Cinema. I do it for one because I feel like no one else will react to these movies because they are less liked sequels. The other reason is I've seen a lot of horror movies except some of the lesser reviewed sequels so I want to see them for myself and fill in the gaps of movies in series I like. I just do these for fun and I have fun talking to people about them but not if they sound like they are complaining about my natural reactions and talking down to me like I'm watching them in some less pure way than people originally did and that everyone had different reactions than me at the time of release. That's just bs. I know this movie has its fans but it's fan base isn't that big and it's completely normal to find the humor didn't land nearly as good as the first film whether you're watching it back in the 80s and now. These kinds of movies sometimes grow on me over time but the first film set maybe too high a standard on my first watch.

Hey I watched B&B on Pluto Tv. There episodes that still Rule!! IT SUCKS There are "No Damn Videos" !!! But these are 1997 And some I haven't seen in years or forgot about. At the end the B&B theme literally goes for 2:55 min. And the credits take that long.Some crushers but it was too Professional by then. And yeah, I complained the music wasn't as good as the first film, but others in the comments told me it had been changed, so I'm glad there is a better version out there.

All i was doing is giving you my thoughts and reaction. So if you don't care about other people thoughts or opinion of the film and remember they are there own person as well. @@bioshock6935 I do care when it doesn't sound like people are complaining and being condescending, I just meant how other people have reacted shouldn't have any bearing on how I reacted, it's not relevant as a complaint is what I mean. And it's just plain not true that everyone liked this movie at the time and that all the jokes were funny. I wasn't watching it in any way that would be different in any other era. I was watching it because I'm a fan of 1 & 3 and I was hoping I would like this film. I've liked lots of films like this on my channel that other people don't like Candyman 3 and Hills Have Eyes 2. I watch mostly 70s, 80s, and 90s movies in my personal life so I don't judge movies by modern standards. I don't like many modern films compared to older stuff. I was looking forward to this one because Bobby from Twin Peaks was in it. But this is a sequel that just copies the original's formula but is way less in quality and the humor doesn't land for me. I do these reactions because I love sharing my experience whether I end up liking the movie or not. I love watching horror movies regardless if they are good or bad, it's still super fun. I had a lot of fun watching this. And I don't watch these to get views or I wouldn't pick things like Candyman 3, Basket Case 3, Hills Have Eyes 2, Night of the Demons 3 and a bunch of Hong Kong Cinema. I do it for one because I feel like no one else will react to these movies because they are less liked sequels. The other reason is I've seen a lot of horror movies except some of the lesser reviewed sequels so I want to see them for myself and fill in the gaps of movies in series I like. I just do these for fun and I have fun talking to people about them but not if they sound like they are complaining about my natural reactions and talking down to me like I'm watching them in some less pure way than people originally did and that everyone had different reactions than me at the time of release. That's just bs. I know this movie has its fans but it's fan base isn't that big and it's completely normal to find the humor didn't land nearly as good as the first film whether you're watching it back in the 80s and now. These kinds of movies sometimes grow on me over time but the first film set maybe too high a standard on my first watch.

Hey I watched B&B on Pluto Tv. There episodes that still Rule!! IT SUCKS There are "No Damn Videos" !!! But these are 1997 And some I haven't seen in years or forgot about. At the end the B&B theme literally goes for 2:55 min. And the credits take that long.Some crushers but it was too Professional by then.
