What you said about the mosquito net and how you don't show her how to open it "the regular way" is absolutely brilliant! I'm planning on having one in my own van but I've long wondered how it would work with my cats, if they would just push it open and run free. But after this video I wonder no longer. I must have the same model as you have! 🎉 Absolutely love your videos and hearing updates on Savannah and the progress she's doing. It really is wonderful to see how well she has adjusted and seem to absolutely love her new lifestyle 😃 I can't wait to see the next video when she gets to roam free of the harness 😍 Question; How long has it been now since you two moved in, in the van? Because it seems like Savannah got used to the change so quickly. And, Are you planning on taking Savannah with you on walks or hikes now that she will have the GPS tracker on her? I don't know if you have before, without the harness. The reason I'm asking is because I often go on walks with my own cats, harness free, and they all follow me and absolutely love it. It is nothing quite like it and something I really look forward to while traveling ❤
What a wonderful comment, thank you Madeleine. The fly net is working a treat too btw! Can highly recommend. Savannah is doing tremendously well (it’s such a relief). It wasn’t so fun on the lead, but as soon as she got freedom back we went back to what we did in the house. I can close the van door if the weathers not great & she meows to come back in like she used to in the house. It’s brilliant. She’s adapted so well. We’ve been in 5 months now but you’re watching us at 3 months. So imagine how good she is now after another 2 months. Next video she escapes the lead. The one after that is the GPS tracker vid. So not long to wait. Her behaviour has become so primal since the tracker went on her. It’s magical to watch. I didn’t realise how under stimulated she was living on a housing estate. She’s like a different cat now. So much more wild! It’s a joy to watch. Can’t wait to show you 🥰 Thanks again for such a beautiful comment. Much love to you xx

Right!!! That was the most uncomfortable race I’ve ever watched. Feel so bad for both the drivers. It was 100% the teams fault. What terrible circumstances to win your first race under. Lando was in a no win situation. The way the team were emotionally blackmailing him made me feel sick. How can a 1-2 feel so hollow 🫤 What did you make of it all?
@@myvanworld I thought you might agree! Yeah, it was dreadful. Even if it was a team decision for Lando to cover off Lewis with an early stop, that undercut gave Lando the opportunity to extend a 6 second lead. I don't know what they think they were achieving through swapping the places and really hope that Lando doesn't lose the championship by that number of points… 🤷♂️ McLaren are my local team as I only live 4 miles away from the MTC. 👍🏻
@@quiggles Completely agree. The fact they asked lando to swap when he’d pulled a lead like that was just wrong. They messed up pit stops. They should have let lando go & given piastri priority next time or something. They’ve basically showed they don’t care about the drivers champ!! Lando better not be that close, it will be soul destroying. They’re my team too, but I don’t really like them right now 😂 Kudos to both drivers , they handled themselves really professionally under the circumstances. Feel for them I really do. And I hope we never see a repeat of it.

Are u in full full time now Becca? If someone was thinking of doing it from scratch i.e. buying a van, kitting it out and then living in it...would you suggest it? Mark x ps cant u get some kind of hook on the outside of the van for Savannahs lead?
Yes full time now (nearly 5 months in real time) - cannot recommend it enough!! I am falling more in love with this way of living by the day. I am so much more relaxed, & take life at a much slower pace. All the rushing around stress has evaporated. I barely spend any money. The free electric will never get old, & neither will being surrounded by fields or the sounds of the birds. Highly recommend. The build is hard, but the result & the memories I’ve made with dad are some of the best of my life so far, and make the hard work totally worth it. If you are feeling called, I say go for it ☺️
Oh, & Savannah is no longer on a lead 😉 you’ll see why next video.
