On this episode of 'Random Fit,' NASM Master Instructors Wendy Batts and Ken Miller brilliantly break down overvalued and undervalued exercises, guiding smarter gym choices. Their analysis, akin to the 'Moneyball' approach, highlights hidden gems in fitness and debunks popular exercise myths. A must-listen for anyone looking to optimize their workout!

Is there a timer for the app? So far my clients have had to start their own timers for the exercises? It would be really helpful if a timer started through the app instead of having to set their own timer.

Great video! Flexibility and mobility are often used interchangeably, but they refer to different aspects of movement. **Flexibility** is the ability of a muscle or muscle group to lengthen passively through a range of motion. It's about how far your muscles can stretch. For example, being able to touch your toes indicates good flexibility in your hamstrings and lower back. **Mobility** on the other hand, refers to the ability of a joint to move actively through its full range of motion. It involves strength, coordination, and flexibility. For example, a deep squat requires good mobility in your hips, knees, and ankles. In essence, flexibility is about the muscles' ability to stretch, while mobility is about the joints' ability to move through their range of motion. Both are important for overall movement and physical performance.

I definitely needed this today Rick🙌🏾. I am a NASM CPT, working on adding CNC to my services by December. I felt like you were describing me to the T! The examples you used for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, & Threats were ALL me🫣. Thanks for calling me out, in a good way of course, because I need to act & get moving with my business 🏃🏾‍♀️‍➡️

In this episode of the 'Peak Physique Podcast,' Andre Adams and Dr. Miguel Romo discuss the benefits of Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) therapy for bodybuilding athletes. Can you elaborate on how MSC therapy specifically aids in muscle recovery and overall performance enhancement?

Hey Doctor Romo! Remember me!?? Excellent interview! Soo amazing to see the famous Doctor Romo on an English podcast. I loved coming to Guadalajara for treatments, but it’s so nice to have you doing treatments closer to us here in California. Cheers, tell Carlos I said hello! CB Cells are the best, I can’t think Dr Romo and the lab enough for giving me my knees back!

Very misleading video. These 3 men have nothing to do with representing CB Cells in Guadalajara. They are not employee's or contract representatives of CB Cells. OB/GYN makes the doctor a specialist in Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapy? Gotta do some due diligence prior to picking your interviews.

Good for you guys. CB Cells is an outstanding company for you and Dan to work for. I thought you guys harnessed the name CB Cells from CB Cells, but if your now employees of Fabians, congratulations. Otherwise, very misleading. Dan has not personally treated 10,000 patients. He has maybe "sold" cells to 1500 people. An inquiry is not a patient. Anyways, good luck.

Hi Rick, i have a similar problem. My PT tried Shockwave therapy but with no lasting benefit. Cupping sort of helps. Dry needling is being proposed. Do this make sense for the rotator cuff? I've been taking ibuprofen an hour before upper body workouts for the inflamation but I'm now wondering if I'm just making things worse. Thank you for any suggestions.

The athlete pushing there is a deliberately bad example of people using the sledge like in ATG knees over toes. No one uses that posture. They have their hips lower and have thousands of testimonials. Shill your own stuff but don’t discredit something/someone who has been promoting this for 4 years with amazing results

Basically pointless exercise and im certified by NASM. Some of their ideologies I disagree with completely. Another one is keeping your toes pointed straight during a barbell squat when it's common that people point their toes out slightly to increase glute activation during the squat and helps some with keeping a neutral spine to be able to push those knees out. What she's doing is not a squat either. If you can only get limited ROM like that you need to focus on a completely different exercise and then build up to it if you are insistant on doing this exercise.

I recently started regularly strength training and am very motivated by wanting to keep myself strong and healthy so I can be there for my loved ones and especially my parents as they age (hopefully I’m not starting too late at mid 40s to get myself stronger, ha!). I’m also very motivated to put on more muscle before I got though menopause!! The motivation is key for me! Thank you for this! ❤

I can picture God looking at us saying, "that's so cute" as we believe that we, the creature, can actually not only locate the "origin of life" but hack and control it. As if. The hubris is stunning. So we call it "evolution" and a "problem" to be "solved" rather than just submit our will to the One who can tell us, and provide for us, and solve the real problems we face in our fallen state. The race to the bottom to develop AI-biohybrid super-computing, signals intelligence, ant/swarm intelligence and blockchaining all of life will ultimately fail because only the Creator of life can hack it in the end. I do find our attempts to forensically analyze it super fascinating though!
