    Thanks for this video, I recently found out what it is, and thought it was age and having Long Covid...I guess when we have FFA, or something like this all of our other stressful situations add to it. It's devastating that's for sure. I haven't seen a dermatologist yet, but have had it diagnosed by a trichologist and now has not get the official FFA looked at by a dermatologist...although, I'm now not sure if its too late to treat....

    Spray the root touch up on a toothbrush or something similar to control the application to the scalp, do not spray directly on the scalp.. Messy!! CONTROL is the key.. It works for me.. Love the video.. ♥️

    Hi Stephanie, i love your video. I suffer from AFF as well. My story is quite similar to yours, I don’t understand how I didn’t notice that I was loosing my hair and when I did, it was too late. In addition I lost my eyebrows and the veins on the forehead are quite marked (apparently it can be another symptom from this disease), I hate to look at myself in the mirror. I started treatment 3 months ago and I hope at least it will stop. You have given me hope. Thanks and greetings from Germany.

    Hi Sara, I'm in same boat and something you mentioned here is interesting, about the "veins on forehead being quite marked" recently, I noticed this and wondered if it was related. It's devastating isn't it....I hope your treatment helps. What treatments are you having by the way? I used to live in Germany, Bavaria, for four years and stupidly came back because of Covid....which I'd stayed.

    Hi Stephanie, My story is the same as yours, Recently my scalp has been diagnosed with Lichen Planopilaris LPP, I had lost a lot of my scalp hair in the vortex, during last two year I noticed the symptoms and I visited two dermatologists no one of them could diagnose the real problem. Now my new dermatologist prescribed me topical clobetasol and isotretinoin 20mg/day. Any way I am not satisfied for being in just this protocol. So PLEASE I just want you to share me the details about your treatment protocl like doses of each one, injected cortisone name, duration, frequency?

    I was diagnosed with FFA two years ago; I have yet to treat it because I suppose I am in denial and just not as concerned at this time. My hair loss is just above my ears and seems to have stopped. I have not noticed anymore loss and I wonder if mine was caused from using a chemo cream for my actinic keratosis (Fluorouracil) for skin cancer. Therefore I am still in denial that I have FFA or if it will continue to recede?? Idk??

    Try spraying on a tissue and patting it onto the area you want to cover while ita wet

  • @ursulagreen8374
    @ursulagreen8374Ай бұрын

    I've been using the root spray for a while. One thing I do, is I fold up a tissue and place it near my hairline. I use my fingers to hold nit, but folding to where I can still see what I'm doing. You can't go so close or it does look like you soray painted your head. I'm very frustrated myself, cause I have hairless all in front of my hairline around my face. I also think the spray clogs the hair follicle pores, and makes the hairless worse.

    You can do this! I don’t have a degree in writing either. All I’ve ever done was write fanfictions that are novel length. I’m currently working on 2 different novels myself, one sci-fi horror and another romance. I like to plot but vaguely. For me, it’s the most fun to figure the story out as I go. Do whatever works best for you 💛

  • @blackcatbrewz
    @blackcatbrewzАй бұрын

    @@katherine1304 I guess it is insane 😂 I used to write fanfic when I was a really young teen but it wasn’t very good. Then I started writing it again almost 8 years later and I’ve improved a ton, so I’ve decided to write actual novels. Working on a survival horror/sci-fi book right now. It’s hard to write, for sure. But the hardest part is starting it. Just start! Even if it isn’t very good, make yourself write anyway. The only way to improve is to just keep writing. And even if you’re only writing like 50 words a day, you’re still making progress! :)

    I also have this. I started by having cystic acne. I've never had acne. It started on my chin, then hair and upper back. I've yet to find a doctor to help. I started reading everything I could to help myself. I use a dht blocker shampoo. I used minoxidal for 3 years. Nothing. So I stopped. I take vitamins, so many vitamins! All this started at age 58. After I had to have a total hysterectomy. I am in a stressful relationship too.

    Eye shadow works very well, just use stout hairspray or makeup setting spray. I spray hairspray/setting spray on a makeup sponge and dab on area after shadow. Caveat about any type of fibers like toppix. There is some initial fallout so do not put contact lenses in until the fibers have been sprayed and set. Rinse eyes, lashes well before putting lenses in.

    I’m in a very similar position, except I’ve been wanting to write a book most of my adult life. I wrote a lot in high school and college, but then married young and started having kids right away so it took a back seat all this time. I love reading, and I find myself saying during each novel- “wow this must have been so much fun to write!” So now that it’s summer break and I have more time I’m going to dive in and get something started. I’m excited to follow along since I have no real life friends with this passion!

    God bless you and thank you for creating this video. Every time I look in the mirror it's really the only thing i see. The only thing that worked for me was MSM , but it gave me crazy nightmares and as soon as i stopped using it, my hair shedded like nothing ever happened. I then used Rogain and it just gave me headaches and nothing was really happening. I used every oil and herb, nothing changed. My left eye is always red and my skin feels very dry and so does my hair. I pray we all find a solution soon.

    Also, please consider emu oil or rice bran oil, especially if you have salicylate intolerance. Not magic cures but might help to lower the inflammation. A lot of oils and foods are high in salicylates. Best of luck and God bless!

    Stephanie, thank you so much for your closeness and honesty sharing this disheartening problem. I know a worth trying product called palette by Schwarzkopf. I think it aims to cover grey roots and it applies with a sponge. I buy it in Europe, don't know whether it's available on the US. Let's stay in touch, at least we're in this together xx

    Thanks so much for sharing! I too, am a sufferer - diagnosed during Covid. My general doctor had no awareness but with later inflammation referred me to a dermatologist. However, I can't seem to get on top of the inflammation (and therefore, nor, the hairline recession). I am taking Plaquenil, but doesn't seem to help for me at least and just started a Tacromilus ointment for hairline twice a day - but after 2 weeks made me feel lethargic, foggy and caused eyelid oedema and sleep problems so, I am not sure it's the answer. Everyone's different as to how they react to things. Thank you so much for giving me some other options and if nothing else raising awareness and being so brave! It's really affecting my self-esteem but I'm not giving in. Would love to hear back from you post your hair transplant appointment 😊
