I found it odd that someone would tackle the idea of humanity’s gods with apparently NO knowledge whatsoever of who and what those gods actually were. Read Neil Gaiman, almost anything by him, to see how it’s done.
Just wait until they see the new weapons we're making...
Yeah, humanity has a long history of waging wars, and war atrocities. Fortunately, there are people who try to reduce the amount of atrocities by fostering a culture of military honor, and of concentrating attacks on military targets. We also have the memories of the horrors committed during previous wars to inspire us to treat the civilians and prisoners better. Basically, humanity has looked at our past selves in the mirror and didn't like what we looked like, so now some of us are trying to improve ourselves. Sometimes its necessary to fight to defend ones self and others, but outright cruelty should be avoided, as it makes us less than human. It is the difference between the civilized and the barbarian.
Short, but entertaining 😊
The narration is getting better, but I really think this won't hit its' stride until the narrator either swaps the downers for caffeine, or gets fresh batteries. Also, taking a breath between sentences would improve continuity at least 111%. Decent story, but narration killed it. Keep going, yer gettin' better.
My favourite story, keep it up.
I don't like copies and re written stories, this is not the original Dude
4*0*7*7* Is Hawkeye or Trapper John in this group?
Great story, I like the fact it's about helping refugees and former slaves rather than "battling with tenacity etc. Actually sounds like a reasonable believable story.
This one. Either this is why we have not made contact with aliens (who wisely don't want to interact with us), or it is just a sad statement on why we haven't yet made it to space, because we spend too much time killing each other. When we are not using our brains for something useful (not very much) we are using them for something hostile and violent in nature. We didn't split the atom to make power plants. It was for bombs. We didn't make most medicine to make life better, we discovered most medicine to repair the damage from war. Would you really want to be an alien saying hello to us?
Yes, human engineers love to MacGyver things together. Even non engineers like myself sometimes channel our inner MacGyver to make or alter things to get stuff done.😂 That's a great show!😊
Now that is a great story. Well done!
Nice!😁
I like the funny stories
Love it! Great story. The heck with the deglamorizing of booze in the military!
made me feel small, well done
Aliens think Benjamin is an absurd name that no one would never bond with.
This is the vomit of literature
Thank you, I loved the story. ❤
Thanks for the laughs! This is hilarious! And, the basic concept is absolutely true. Pet rock, anyone? Or how about Wilson, the soccer ball in Castaway?🤣🤣🤣 I like reverse humor, so I named my rolling walker Warp 9.😂 Thanks for the great start to my day!😂
Another great story! I really like the world and characters this author has created.
This is a funny one. :)
Considering how much slavory we have done it is nothing but a miracle that humanity ever grew above it in any, even facetious, ways. Especially considering that Lewis and Clarke were awful people and survived off of people, not the land, not their own efforts.
You think slavery is over? 🤔
A definite change, great story!
it's good, although it could have been shorter. 👍
I really liked this story. Thank you.
The Dude abides.
We all have demons. Mine is in a cage, kicked under the basement stairs. Sometimes it sleeps, sometimes it howls. I have thrown away the gold key. Its safer for everyone.
One of the best stories I have ever heard.
Good one- thank you 🤗💕
Good story, thanks.
nice story.
I liked this one.
funny at the beginning, totally cliché at the end. too bad.
Imagine if they meet The Doomslayer.
We sacrificed our cradle to protect the children it bore, there is no greater honour than that!
The Tillin's F-ed around and the whole galaxy found out 😂
Exciting to see something I wrote being narrated, hurt a little to see all the typos in my work :'D but oh well. Glad to see people enjoy the fun concept I had created.
Veru good story
Me to
Our god is the Dragon? I approve that
Maybe that's Mommy Tiamat
@@kennethmana3103 I'm not complaining. Dragon mommy for the win!!! But you know what is the best? Dragon Daddy and Mommy as a tag team.
@@sandromiruashvili2963 I call her mommy Tiamat cuz of both of her original mythology and a bit of DND and Fate Series
Really good. Loved it
oh this was a good one
Good story.
A few light years. 😂
Yeah. Even the Large Magellanic Cloud is like 160k light years away (small one is like 200k).
And sometime the key speaks to us begs to be used. This is the best description of the human psyche I heard here.
Nice.
Nah
"Valued crewman Carl is strong." Unlock the cage and you'll see strong...
Clearly the writings of Dr. Jordan Peterson have not reached the xenos.
