I personally dont really like sharks, the reason is they kind of seem to be high maintenance and im not a fan of that. I had a shark very similar to this several years ago, it was more annoying to me than anything. I like the function of them and how well they handle but the constant feeling like everything has to be cleaned out all the time bothered me. the other thing is that finding parts and actually getting into them is a pain, however these older ones though they are that way they are much better than the over engineerd junk they make now. I ended up giving mine to my best friend who was going off to collage for his dorm and I bought a used KIRBY G series. much easier to maintain for me. I really only prefer bagged machines because they are just easier to keep clean and maintain. I really do enjoy these videos

I had no idea Hoover kept making these in Mexico in 2013. I thought by 2009 they would’ve made these in China. I remember these machines being very popular when they were still around. I still question myself why I never bothered on buying one. It is sad to see the self propelled feature being scrapped. I assume it was to save money since people want bagless junk that is meant to be thrown away these days. Consumer reports always ranked these number 1 for uprights. These really were great machines than what most people thought they were. The self propelled cable did break a lot, and the original brush roll always needed greasing, but other than that they performed very well and a lot of them are still working. I wish Hoover would at least keep making parts for these.

I have the same watch, only with an unmarked bezel. The shop I bought mine from claims only 20 m of water resistance, but it has the same screw down crown, outer ring and serious gasket as an Amphibia. It is also easy to regulate. The date feature is a pain in the bum.😢 As for the green dial and the red star at the 12 o'clock, I call it the Komandirskie Heineken. Thanks for this video. Cheers 🍻!

Cool machine. Don’t ever pull out the turbo tool. I’ve returned three of these in the past cause the little clips broke and would no longer hold the tool in place. I much prefer the older original windtunnel self propelled models. I had the metallic silver one which I believe was top of them one back in the early 2000’s. Like 2004 I think maybe. The dials or meters on the 735 don't necessarily make it better than the 110, it's just a visual effect, it's not really a mode or a useful feature, it's just there for visual pleasure if you will... the TRT-110 is personally one of my favorite Casios, along with the GD-350 G-SHOCK... the mud resist buttons on the 110 is also a favorite feature of mine, they are a little harder to press because the actual buttons are covered to prevent mud, sand granulars, or small particles from getting stuck in between the buttons, thus Causing them to jam or not push in properly... All the features and functions are subjectively different to everybody, some people like them, and some don't, it all comes down to preference... I personally don't mind a little more stiffness of the 110 simply because it's more protective of the watch

That’s a good question. Judging from the photos in the website database, it appears that each series had a specific design aesthetic for the era. It leads me to wonder if the green key color was more a choice of perhaps a type of durable plastic as opposed to aesthetic design. The machine itself lends itself well to a design of sheer purpose.

I found this somewhere suggesting 1949 colors. It doesn't exactly match the gray one in the video, but hedges with "usually". It's possible they mixed around keys...or technically possible somebody could have swapped body work from different models too. Forest Green Model: Keys: Generally had green keys with white lettering to match the body color. Desert Sand Model: Keys: Typically featured tan or beige keys with white or dark lettering, harmonizing with the lighter body color. Maroon Model: Keys: Often had dark maroon or burgundy keys with white lettering, complementing the dark reddish-brown body. Gray Model: Keys: Usually came with gray keys with white lettering, maintaining a cohesive and professional appearance with the body color.
