    Interesting reading the comments and how some people are like it’s a Sequoia and will never be used as an off roader . I have a 2019 Sequoia and it spends lots of time off road and loves it . I’ve had 6 Tacomas , 4 Tundras , and FJ-40 and hands down the Sequoia is my favorite. Looked at the new sequoias and am not sold on the way the cargo area is , with the hybrid system it does not lay down flat and storage is an issue. Thanks for sharing yours

    Does a 2 wheel drive 5th gen 4Runner have cv axels in the front? I’ve had multiple mechanics tell me I don’t have cv Axels in the front.

  • @dillansgarage
    @dillansgarage5 күн бұрын

    That’s correct. CV axles are only for 4wd IFS vehicles. The only thing somewhat related to this would be to check your wheel bearing, but those don’t usually go bad with normal use. Our 4runner front bearings are designed to last the life of the vehicle. That said I changed my around 140,000 miles cause they were shot.

    @@dillansgarage I wasn’t trying to say you were wrong or anything, it’s just that I had an experience with trying to use some sealant and it gunk up my thermostat and radiator and everything. Maybe you can help me I have a 2009 Nissan frontier with a 4.0 V6. To make a really long story short, I’m pretty sure that I have a leaking head gasket. It’s a very very slow leak. I only have to add coolant about every two or three weeks or so and even then it’s only just a little bit of coolant. The problem I have is that if I put a load on the motor like hauling a trailer, it immediately gets hot. So my question is what type of sealer would you recommend because at this point I’m willing to try anything because I’m looking at having to buy another motor because I’m not going to spend $3000 to get the head gasket fixed. In 1975 I worked for Holly Carburetor in a factory where we made those pumps. My job was to make the hub that connected the pulley to the pump. Three holes were drilled, tapped and chamfered, four at a time in a stationary milling machine where the center rotated to each milling head to preform each task. I entertained myself by seeing how many I could make during each shift. I don’t remember the number but I broke the machine more than once!
