    so, you have your worst season in 34 years, finish with a negative goal difference, 22 points behind Liverpool, 31 points behind the other Manchester team, and THIS is what you cling to? do you not see - all this says about your club is how far you've fallen.

    I love your honest, straight forward, no hyperness, calm feelings about what is clearly going on. Thank you for seriously saying and noticing facts about players. Diaz and Salah were the reasons I started following them about a year ago! Again appreciate how you just get on with it and say home truths. I've been on cloud 9 for awhile with our stellar performances and your 100% correct that since all the seniors came back we are like headless chickens, SO disappointing...YNWA

    As a toffee I was more than surprised, pleased for us of course but you guys never really replaced mane, firmino,Fabinho, Henderson kieta and your super sub origi , that’s a lot of class performers to disappear since 2021🤷‍♂️, add the guys you’ve still got and it’s why you were scary good👍, Merseyside needs 2 strong sides competing let’s hope by the we move into BMD that’ll be so👍👌🤞

    Hi, if the coach is telling is leaving 3 months in advance it is quite normal the team starts to tumble and lose the actitud. this is why you draw so many time. To me it was a mistake to say it so early. Klopp time was already over last year. The king is dead, long lives the king, you are having great players, now find a good coach and see you next year. Alonso will be great for you...who knows...but I want him for Madrid:)...

    Yeah Fabrice.. all I will say is that when we were winning, everyone was talking about what a genius move it was to 'galvanise' the squad. Then when we had a bad patch it became the reason we had a bad patch. But yes, see you next year. The squad is very close to competing at the very top.. hopefully the new manager takes us to the next step :)

    Well organized team that took advantage of a very off day by us. Kept expecting them to tire but they didn’t. They kept man marking for 90+. It was impressive. We’ll go and win it 3-0 away. No dramas. Plus it’s a kick in the pants for the league matches.

    You seem to forget that Mo Salah, as a practicing Muslim, has been fasting for Ramadan, therefore, Jurgen has to be careful with Mo and how he uses him. I think he's taken Mo off when he did in order to preserve his energy levels for Old Trafford, so that he's firing on all cylinders on Sunday. Also Endo's absence was NOT because of the risk of suspension. Jurgen did actually state that Endo had picked up a knock in the Brighton match and was, therefore, not deemed fit enough to play against Sheffield Utd. However, he will be in his usual position for the match at Old Trafford, so we can expect to see Macca doing his best work on Sunday in the No.8 role where he is most comfortable and more accustomed to playing. As far as the overall performance is concerned, I always felt confident we were in total control of the game. We actually had 84% of the possession (a record for the Premiership, by the way) and had 29 shots on the goal. I always had faith that we'd find a way to win, and Jurgen made the required substitutions as he had done all season to get it done. Look at it this way: we are going to whip United's backsides on Sunday and we are going to win this league title! Why? Because we are Liverpool Football Club and we're fighting for the integrity of football and we're fighting to give Jurgen the best send-off he richly deserves for what he has done for us over these last 9 years. Come on you mighty Red machine! YNWA!!!

    I’m 16 seconds in and making a comment so maybe I should wait….did we make hard work of it? Really. Dominated possession and other than the first 1 minute (and of course the goal) they offered nothing.

  • @danielbennett4336
    @danielbennett43362 ай бұрын

    Maybe it’s over confidence or maybe cause I had one eye on work and one eye on the match…never worried. Thought the lads were relaxed and confident. Subs were (as you mentioned) perfect. Take Mo of to rest him…but also light a little fire before United. Agreed at the time…and when it’s putting our Harvey on I’m always happy. Shout out to Robbo. Truly offers something incredible every time. Agree with your assessment of the match, players and subs. Brilliant. See you at the pub Sunday?

  • @YNWAREDS2024
    @YNWAREDS20242 ай бұрын

    we were toiling until the subs, against the worst defence in the division - with just the keeper's error to show for it - up until the subs came on. It then took a worldy to get the breakthrough. So, yeah, I think we did make hard work of it :) but it's all opinion mate.

    Excellent match commentary as always! I do not want to beat a dead horse, but what is this awful refereeing all about? It is one thing to have one or two who have hard-on for us. But all of them is a bit over the top!

    thanks mate; and yes, I couldn't agree more. Robbed at Spurs, robbed of the Odegaard handball, robbed of the Doku high boot on Mac Allister and robbed of a blatant handball against Chelsea in the opening game. Not only did the Odegaard and Doku decisions take points from us, they also gave City and Arsenal points they shouldn't have.

    Winning with 15 mins left... poor game management, on and off the pitch... Klopp and VVD.. That utd winner was such an embarrassment when we had most players up for the corner. Wouldn't go in on any player. Gakpo appears the scapegoat... unfair.. don't think any player apart from maybe Macca played well at all. Game management was proper poor though. Great vid.

  • @devilheaven80

    Of Course they deserved to equalise...Erik outmanaged Klopp this is an absolute fact...ask yourself this why did Klopp play Salah on a fast midweek for 90 mins when the tie was in the bag...and couldnt have him for 90 mins in the cup game...Klopp plays exceptional football but deep down you know hes not a great manager

  • @stevenclark1973

People forget how easy it is to make mistakes when you have nothing left in the tank. Terrible result but Utd only had this to fight for. The emotion will die down when they lose to city. The silver lining is less games. YNWA
