Her volume control is insane. So quiet to in your face
I'm a long-time guitarist just learning piano. Martha is amazing .The Malmsteen, Satriani, etc of the piano.
😍😍😍😍😍
💐
No, she is not playing the piano. The piano is being played by her.
for someone that is not into classical piano music of such its incredibly horrible to see a bunch of white old people looking at her. she is probably far away from my understanding, outstanding
After glenn, she is the one who amused me 🖤
…the hand speed matches Buddy Rich!
Those once in a lifetime talents. Simply extraordinary.
Whenever I listen to her Mozart, it brings back memories of Gulda's fantastic performance!
So what is shocking about these performances? I came here expecting to find drastic mistakes or mishaps in each performance, or forgetting her part, or something like that.
she will give a concert in two weeks….. I have tickets, will be there😊
Excellent! I would love to be you! I hope you enjoy it ♥
Did she turn up?
@@jamesrobert4106 yes, …she was amazing, I am very happy to have been there😁
@duka7436 It must have been incredible. I asked because I am sure you know, it was not uncommon for her to cancel performances at the last minute.
@@jamesrobert4106 Oh, I didn't know that. The audience was thrilled and she gave three encores🙂
OMG the last one
You need to look up the meaning of the word "shocking". If you're not a native English speaker you are of course forgiven. If you are, then I despise your clickbait.
Dear @tombristowe846 First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude for your comment. We are indeed an Argentine channel co-created by a professional musician, and our sole intention was to convey our deepest admiration for the artistry of moments that have created unforgettable memories for us. (It is also true that we may have erred on the side of semantic enthusiasm, a trait often associated with Argentines ;) ) We were unaware that, in theory, the word "shocking" could carry a morally negative connotation. This was never our intention. We will certainly keep this in mind for future publications. Once again, thank you very much.
Why shocking?? Dumb title. Please change.
I believe her only live performance of Rach 3.
Best
Wow
Why is this supposed to be 'shocking'? Maybe impressive, or fascinting...but 'shocking'...?
Shocking you use if something has gone wrong but here all is spotless!
Prokofieff has wrong notes in the third and fourth last bars: should be C-B-C-B-C-B C-B-C-B-C-B and then repeated Cs. Instead, she plays repeated Cs the whole way.
She does play c b c b
The Rachmaninoff 3 is heavy-handed and rough. Her only aim was to "play it faster than anyone else" at any cost.
His style was psychotic, heavy handed and rough. That's the mindset you need to play his music. He was a genius ahead of his time with his style of playing. I can't do it...I don't want to get carpal tunnel syndrome. My daughter is young she can play his music. Me and my mother are awe Everytime she plays it. She was only 14 when she discovered him, she's almost 30 now. Being African American it's a joy to have so many talented musicians in our family none are famous we just love music from all genres ❤
@@winninginlifeI am sorry, but whose style was heavy-handed and psychotic?
@@EmptyVee00000 Rachmaninoff 😭🤣🤫😉❤️
Mozart is not clean.
In some ways the Bach Capriccio is the most unusual and remarkable: she creates a sense of organ registration and polyphony instead of just the rush of articulated notes as this piece is so often rendered. She hits the leaps in the right hand as if they were adjacent notes, which keeps the linearity moving so you don't even notice Bach's "keyboard saltando" in those passages.
Great .sokolov amazing in brahms!
No it was not shocking! It was genius!
SINGERS ??????? 🤔
Everything is far too fast. Not my fav type.
Rtinnehhr
I was pleased that, like Horowitz, she filled in the last octave in the Tschiakowsky passage with a dominant seventh.
Me too!
Matrha Argerich - genialna pianistką !!! Takze wspaniały ,odważny człowiek ( potrafiła okazać swoje oburzenie ,co do decyzji jury w Konkusie Chopinowskim, opuszczajac sale !!!
Stupendous is the only way to describe how she can play!
❤
Why shocking? Shocking sounds so negative. They were all wonderful and fantastic performances!😮
Shocking sounds negative? It never had that connotation to me. I use it interchangably with unbelievable, regardless of whether its unbelievably good or unbelievably bad. This, of course, is unbelievably good
works better for the youtube algorithm - unfortunately the clickbaity stuff is like this. Not how i would prefer youtube to work, but humans respond more to 'shock' than 'awe' according to youtube!
These pieces were selected cause they are Argerich's favourite pieces to play.😊
❤
❤ Amazing
❤️🌹
She's amazing ❤
Towards the end I was waiting for the pianos to burst into flames. Jeez. The woman has pinkies made out of titanium
God bless your interests and family
Браво!
🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏👏
Massive sound
Tell me anyone in the past 50 years so great in their profession? Greatness personified.
At Rachmaninov 3 you can see the sigh of relief after the passage 🎉 So that is hard even for her! 😊
And no sheet music. All from memory. 🤯
Strauss' Burleske in D minor!
A showing off uncultivated pianist.
Better to be thought a fool than express your opinion and remove all doubt.
All right man, you obviously dislike her but why don't you spare us from your hideous comments? Please keep your opinion to yourself or go somewhere else to spit your annoyance and share it with those who have your same tastes. The fact that you have an opinion doesn't mean you have to go out there bothering those that think different. Grow up dude or get a life.
Wtf are you ok 😢
Who really wants to know how mediocre Argerich as a musician is should listen to her Rach 3 beginning and then listen to Buniatishvilis with Järvi.
man, both are incredible musician. And you are obviously not.
There are other performances of the Rachmaninoff three that easily outclass Argerich interpretively, but she surpasses all of them in her technical command. But I am sorry, Buniatishvili cannot even mentioned in the same sentence is Argerich. Buniatishvili is the female equivalent of Lang Lang among modern day pianists, only prettier. I think that many students at modern day conservatories could easily out play either of them, both technically and interpretively .
@@Janaceks_Dad ah, I see….did you hear Rachmaninoff third with her….?
@@didon8460 sorry.
Why don’t you just give up?
Casta diva is Callas landmark. 3rd Prokofiev, is the landmark of Martha. ❤❤❤❤
