    You need to look up the meaning of the word "shocking". If you're not a native English speaker you are of course forgiven. If you are, then I despise your clickbait.

  • @VoyageClassique

    Dear @tombristowe846 First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude for your comment. We are indeed an Argentine channel co-created by a professional musician, and our sole intention was to convey our deepest admiration for the artistry of moments that have created unforgettable memories for us. (It is also true that we may have erred on the side of semantic enthusiasm, a trait often associated with Argentines ;) ) We were unaware that, in theory, the word "shocking" could carry a morally negative connotation. This was never our intention. We will certainly keep this in mind for future publications. Once again, thank you very much.

    The Rachmaninoff 3 is heavy-handed and rough. Her only aim was to "play it faster than anyone else" at any cost.

  • @winninginlife
    @winninginlife8 ай бұрын

    His style was psychotic, heavy handed and rough. That's the mindset you need to play his music. He was a genius ahead of his time with his style of playing. I can't do it...I don't want to get carpal tunnel syndrome. My daughter is young she can play his music. Me and my mother are awe Everytime she plays it. She was only 14 when she discovered him, she's almost 30 now. Being African American it's a joy to have so many talented musicians in our family none are famous we just love music from all genres ❤

    In some ways the Bach Capriccio is the most unusual and remarkable: she creates a sense of organ registration and polyphony instead of just the rush of articulated notes as this piece is so often rendered. She hits the leaps in the right hand as if they were adjacent notes, which keeps the linearity moving so you don't even notice Bach's "keyboard saltando" in those passages.

    モーツァルトは別の意味でショッキングであった。これは師匠のグルダの没後5年のメモリアルの演奏。師匠の得意曲を弾いたが彼女には全く不向きでモノマネしようとしてやりきれていない様な居心地の悪い演奏です。その事は何より彼女自身が感じていたように見える聞こえる。その後、彼女はこの曲を積極的に取り上げる事はなかったはず。もしかすると皆無かも。

    There are other performances of the Rachmaninoff three that easily outclass Argerich interpretively, but she surpasses all of them in her technical command. But I am sorry, Buniatishvili cannot even mentioned in the same sentence is Argerich. Buniatishvili is the female equivalent of Lang Lang among modern day pianists, only prettier. I think that many students at modern day conservatories could easily out play either of them, both technically and interpretively .
