I agree the choreographers makes the dance much better. Ofc they have the skills better than the girls which is the reason why it seems lacking. Really can't argue about that. Wish they'll try to execute the dances better for their upcoming songs, with learning the skills👍

(coming from an aespa stan) it's not that aespa is bad at dancing, its just that they're all performing the original choreography with different energy, flares, and sometimes speed. like for example: - 1:08 giselle's movements are slower and less sharp than the others' - 3:07 ningning is consistently putting more effort and energy into the movements than the others, while karina winter and giselle are more fluid. - i feel like the choreo was also WAYY too simplified to the point where it just became **boring** - 0:13 original choreographers behind "karina" dancer are much lower and in a different stance than aespa is in - 0:18 choreographers pose a lot more fluidly, while giselle karina and ningning just look somewhat stiff.. - 0:23 choreographer's legs are farther apart making footwork look more active and energetic - 1:59 spins in original choreo are completely removed, making it look dull - 2:08 bada's head movements before the signature choreo are removed (i was so sad to see this because that touch was brilliant) - 2:20 little jumps in og choreo removed **i could go on and on..** - overall i dont think it's reasonable to say this choreography is messy or aespa are bad dancers because of this execution. i don't think aespa willingly dulled down the choreo, but rather it was dulled down for them. the original choreography is also brilliant and does not deserve the hate it's received. i would like to see more energy and complex movements rather than just basic blocking in the future, but the girls have lots of time and room for improvement. i also say this knowing that aespa has already improved so much from this era - 'drama' comeback. you can clearly see there's more energy and variety of movement and its brilliant <3

Sm was always good with vocals but they’ve got better at dance with nct (esp. hip hop) i guess choreographers are just used to their energy😂

They aren’t good dancers, they need more practice and that’s it. Dance is more than a choreography and good poses, you have to train your body. You can see the difference between other idols and giselle at zoo stage too for example. I hope they work on it and get better! I like their songs and attitude!

idk it just seems like the choreo they choose from all of these didnt fit aespas style? like aespa propably would've looked better if they didnt chose that choreo - like its good but not aespas style - the outfits and aesthetics dont match the choreo well. Either they should've chosen different outfitsborba different choreo. Also i think as pretty young idols its hard to make a big presence if you're just 4 ppl. they should add some BG dancers imo it would make a lot of things more intresting and the choreo formations would also have more varieties.

As much as I love Aespa, I’ve always hated how un-energetic their performances are. It seems like ningning is the only energetic one and gives the performance some power/sass. Karina and winter are good dancers but they’re almost too precise, they don’t stop to have fun with the choreo or add their own unique flavor. Giselle is definitely the weakest dancer but she’s also trying her hardest so props to her. I think she just struggles with movement coordination. She’ll keep improving as time goes by, I hope she keeps working hard to keep improving and keep up with her members. Her dancing reminds me of Jisoo, Lia, Jin, Yoongi, etc where they just don’t have any skillset for it but they’re still trying their best. I love Aespa, but as a MY it’s disappointing to see such lackluster performances. No one is above criticism, including idols. We as fans are allowed to feel disappointed when we pay money just to see bad performances. Plus it’s their job, they’re literally called “entertainers”, they’re supposed to entertain us. It’s ok to give constructive criticism to your favs and want them to get better. I also kinda speculate maybe they have to perform multiple times throughout the day so maybe they’re trying to save energy in their performances? I’m not sure.. just a guess.. but nothing is an excuse.

It’s weird that they picked a choreo that’s so good but couldn’t execute it well and that’s why it lacks impact. Their idols couldn’t hit the highlight and the vibe the way it needed. This is the type of choreo that looks simple but will look super cool if it’s synced well and with the energy where it needs. Without the punch of energy at the right spot it will lose its impact.
