  I think there's a desktop version through the app store, if not, you could run it through your phone and maybe sync with MIDI. If you've got logic for iPad it should open in app

  That’s my hope as well, I’m planning to test it out soon for the show. We did a comparison of Koala, MPC and FL studio stem seps a few weeks ago and FL’s was surprisingly clean. I hope logic is close or better than that, but we’ll see. -SW

  Yeah, the fact they’ve limited it to the new chips is truly disappointing. It sounds like the update will work on older Mac’s, but most of the new features don’t work… shame they couldn’t have it just work on them and be heavy on the cpu

  Logic Pro is a sketch pad, which has a become a sketch pad within a sketch pad. The sequencer was designed to write ideas, compose stuff. Now we just get a poorly programmed AI bot to give us what Logic thinks is best. No thanks. Quicker to just play something in, and if you can't, take the time to study music a bit. I wouldn't think of performing root canal surgery on a patient, without having gone to dentistry school first. And yes, while the arts can be flexible and new things can be discovered, the AI, in my brain, (lol), is faster than the AI options with these plastic gimmicks. Logic: please give us all channels with a gain pot, for all instruments.

  @@Audionautic, The phrase, quality, whose quality is it anyway? Springs to mind. The notion that any form of AI generated music production software will enhance the quality of an idea or mix, is a contradiction in terms. I'd say, the people producing this newest iteration of Logic, are absolutely jumping on the band wagon when it comes to throwing out buzz words such as AI. AI might be helpful, when it comes to utility tasks such as batch file processing and or naming, or some such stuff, however, when it comes to the creative aspect, it kind of defeats the purpose if you simply say, I threw some samples together and logic did the rest.

  The more I ponder this toilet of streaming & Spotify, I realised that normal business pay their suppliers knowing it is its own entity that needs to make profit, whereas this bunch of circumcision waste product treats artists, their supply, as a given. They correctly focus on customer but totally take for granted their supply line. When they dwindle and shrivel up into a paupers death rattle, and are begging for a handout, I'll be there with an offer of a fiver for them to do a two girls one cup video. Which I'll stream, and release the fiver to them when it hits a million views.
