Scored several touchdowns, thousands of hurrys, and hundreds of sacs on this field, 4 years. What a long set of memories. Many of the same team and I went to state in track and field, and even played against Shaq (Cole High School) for the Texas UIL State Championship B-Ball.

A story about a football game in the 2000s, the Groveton Indians were playing a school whose colors were green and white and the other team's cheerleaders made a run through sign for the football players that read "Send Them Back on The Trail of Tears" and the cheerleaders, and cheer sponsors had no idea that it was heavily offensive. But the next morning the GISD superintendent emailed the school's superintendent and the superintendent had to apologize on the cheer leaders behalf.

Thank you! I say this is a must see stadium, unless you just like the big new ones. Community history is part of this stadium. The locals who were out of work during the depression actually did a lot of the work.

C’mon my good friend. It’s spring. It’s grass. They won’t line it until fall. It’s like several other small towns where they decided to hold onto their historic stadiums. I love the wall around the stadium.

I remember driving thru Franklin on our way to see my cousin in Athens back in 2009. Nice little quite town. Really enjoy the stadium, it's nice for a small town. 😊😊

Brock is completely separate from Weatherford ISD though they are direct neighbors.

The Puncherdome is my favorite high school stadium. We attend a game here every year. You can also,play a round of golf around the stadium!

I was only paying half attention when I saw Alex Waits's name come up. Really he played at John Clark Stadium because this stadium is too new... I guess that happens a lot that a certain number of players mentioned didn't actually play at the stadiums being shown because of new stadiums being built.
@thegreatalyssa Very astute of you to notice. Thanks for pointing it out and understanding my plight. I struggled with where to put all of them because even Kimbrough has all three senior high schools represented in the end zones. Should I have put all on both? Or should I have separated them based upon the stadium that was available when they played? Then Plano has Bill Murrah who played for Canton Bulldogs in 1922. Pat Thomas, an all-pro defensive back for the LA Rams from 76 to 82 graduated before Clark was built. Thanks again for noticing it and watching the channel. Any thoughts for the future stadiums?
I wouldn't worry about it. It's very hard to keep up with all that. It's just that I remember seeing AW before he even got to high school. DFW has grown too much for me with too many changes. There are so many high schools now. I do like your videos! @@TexasHighSchoolStadiums

Probably not but I don't know. I don't know much. It's a long time ago. He was a grade ahead of me and I moved away. It's just that I remember him. @@TexasHighSchoolStadiums

@@TexasHighSchoolStadiums I appreciate it my friend, we had a great group of kids that bought into everything that we were preaching to them. Love your videos. During the playoffs we watched them as a staff when we would bid on stadiums for playoff games.
I am going to try to get more facilities at these stadiums for that bidding process.
