  To Aniak and Scott the current level of the US Deptartment of Energy Strategic Petroleum Reserve is 369 million barrels down from a high of 775 million barrels under the Obama/ Trump administration. President biden has depleted the SPR by 180 million barrels since 2021 from the initial 549 million million barrels at the start of his term. He also released an additional 1 million barrels to keep oil prices low till the election. The current life of the SPR if an OPEC embargo or world crisis occur now is 53 days or roughly 8 weeks. Also the US is buying 1 million barrels per day of Canadian Tar sands crude to oil refineries in the Gulf Coast.

  With the advent of Russia's HYPERSONIC missiles, along with their satellite killers ready to take out the collective west's satellites, I do NOT believe that the USA would come out on top in a Nuclear war. My bet would be on the Russians, who , BTW, have the most sophisticated air defense in the world, the s-500 Prometheus, which is capable of intercepting our nukes, even hyper-sonic missiles!

  Do you ever worry about a nuclear war starting? Well, you really should not, you know. The chances are you would not know anything about it… THE END To most people, well, in fact, 99.99999 per cent of the world's population, it was just another typical morning, evening, night, depending on where you were located on the planet. As a normal matter of course, most of humanity was feeling sorry for itself one way or another, protesting to who knows whom, about who knows what, from racism, through gay rights, all the way to feminist equality, political persuasions, or religious dogma. While at the same time, people’s sycophantic media idols were opinionising the usual utter drivel on their behalf. And, as usual, the news channels were stirring the mix, with their iconic presenters playing devil’s advocate for ratings and advert sales. Those of humanity who were outside at the time, went about their daily business, being mostly oblivious to the real world around them. They toyed with their hand-held, new generation, electronic gadgets, an extension of their brain, (in some cases, the only brain they can hope to possess). It was, in truth, their beloved and coveted treasure of hedonistic pride, with it’s A I ability, to make them think they were super-intelligent, even though someone or something on the screen was doing the thinking for them. As they gazed mournfully around, looking at the expressions of other consternated, fellow humans, for a split second, they observed a bright light in the sky; that was just before the contents of their eyes flowed down their cheeks. Simultaneously, the fingers holding their various gadgets became encased in molten plastic as their hands caught fire. Within the next second (If they were fortunate to live in the most populated areas), most people were instantly vaporised. A fair percentage of humanity died a few seconds later from heat, blast, or the consequences of pressure waves, demolishing the infrastructure around them. Those that were unlucky enough to survive, that had suffered fatal burns and various other body traumas, which lasted from minutes to hours, depending on their endurance to pain, before their suffering ceased. Those who by some miracle had missed the aforementioned. Due to distance, or their position under, behind, or in, some well-protected structure, roamed about in complete shock, fear, and blind panic. Living further away from populated areas, military bases, airports, or industrial complexes, most 'survivors' would be under the misapprehension that they just had a lucky break. Well, until the ‘Sievert’ readings around them rose exponentially, that is. But they probably would not realise this until, over time, their skin itched profusely, and their nails, teeth, and hair, started to fall out. The bright side is, that they would not have to worry about food, as most would be incapable of eating it. Even if they could, it would just have hastened their demise by way of ingesting contaminated food or water with accumulative irradiation, poisoning their internal organs. THE BEGINNING As I sat there reflecting over past events and my life, I gazed across the parched, arid plain, watching the sea glistening in the distance. The hazy morning sun rose on the horizon; it caused shadows from the trunks of long-dead trees that protruded from the parched Earth. They pointed like black needles, their shadows stretching across the arid landscape and, as the sun rose higher, the shadows grew shorter until only the blackened stalks of decayed tree stumps stood upright towards the reddening sky, still, no going back now! Suddenly, I caught movement out of the corner of my eye. I quickly snapped myself out of my daydreams and reminiscences to get a fleeting glimpse of a bedraggled form as it crept through the ruins. “That you, Lucy?" I shouted, quickly picking up my rifle on the defence. “Yes, it’s me, dad. I found some cans buried beneath a shed!” she exclaimed with some glee, adding, “no labels, though!” "Hope they're not past the sell-by date!” I mused back. “Beggars can’t be chooser’s dad!” she replied. “Sell by date? I thought cynically; I think humanity is well past that!” We walked around the ruined city, picking our way through an old, dilapidated concrete complex where glass lay, strewn along its aisles. Inside various rooms, rag-covered plaster dummies gazed at us mockingly with soulless eyes. One, with arm outstretched, was pointing accusingly at me as if to remind me of the folly of man. When we came across a dilapidated dwelling and, after a good scavenge, we sometimes still found hidden the odd can of food or packet of dried pulses (well-hidden, I give them that), but after some years of searching, you get to know the habits of the dead.   There is a PC videogame called Defcon, made by former UK military. Very cheap to buy. Politicians can buy it and try to "win" the game. You can buy it and make a demonstration video of you playing the game and show it to the world. UK also has SOPs on nuclear war. Winning is closer to defeat than victory.

I live between Raytheon and Rafael missle manufacturers and an Army Depot and repair facility while B52' are stationed in Bossier City to my south and Jacksonville Airforce base to the north in Little Rock! Hello Ania, I live in the UK, my Polish family members fought with the British in WW2 and won the battle of Monte Casino. I was born in Italy but we came to England in 1947. I feel very English but have an interest in what is going on in Poland. Very disappointed in how much they hate the Russians - I respect Mr Putin; he is a decent, honest man and great leader. All Western leaders are under the influence of the Drago Reptillans and the Dark forces are fighting to keep us living in fear so that we all support their warmongering.
