"I don't ride my bike to win races, nor do I ride to get places. I ride to escape this world. I ride to find peace with myself. I ride to feel free and I ride to feel strong."
hey man, you were saying in your latest vid about how long your GoPro lasts for recording, I recently got myself this little powerbank and it gives you hours and hours of recording without having to change battery so thought I'd mention it. The thing's really small (and still 5000mah!) so I just tuck it in my inside jacket pocket and run a USB cable to the GoPro, through my helmet strap. Super useful! Just thought I'd let you know but I see you've got comments off so had to come to your earlier vids, ride safe buddy!

Man they sound good! Do the crackle when your on it hard or on decelerations ? Cool ride man
@bobber16564 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks! I use the Vance & Hines FP3 FuelPak and it has the exact mapping for this setup. So there's almost no back-firing or crackle. It runs really well. 😎👍

With the slotted heat shields does it get hotter on your leg or can you feel more heat coming from the pipes vs. Heat shields that completely cover the exhaust?
@bobber16565 жыл бұрын
I don't feel any heat from the exhaust. It's far enough from my leg. In fact, I feel more heat from the rear cylinder head than from the exhaust.

I can feel it when I’m at a red light. But don’t feel nothing when I’m running.

Did you notice any power gains or loss from these pipes?
@bobber16565 жыл бұрын
With the V&H VO2 air intake and tuned with a V&H FP3 Fuelpak, I definitely noticed a power gain. Also, those pipes take a lot of weight off the bike, which I noticed as well.

How loud are they on longer rides? Do they get obnoxious when just cruising?
@bobber16566 жыл бұрын
They are definitely loud. I don't rev it too high so I really like the low, deep rumble. I don't find the sound obnoxious at all. Some others may, but I really like the sound.
@401nate26 жыл бұрын
Awesome. I tend to ride low too. Cruise between 2000-2400. Usually shift around 3200 but gradual. I may give it a shot. As long as my ears wont ring like my rocket days

Ever tried passenger pegs with this setup?
@bobber16566 жыл бұрын
Passenger pegs do fit with no problem. I don't know why they say they don't. It must be model-specific.

Are the heat shields good?
@bobber16566 жыл бұрын
They're average. You can't touch them when hot, but they do cool very fast after I turn off the engine.

Did you try to run passenger pegs with it?
@bobber16566 жыл бұрын
It's configured for solo riding only, but passenger pegs will fit no problem. The exhaust doesn't interfere with the clearance for passenger pegs.
@AssumeTheFuzzySham6 жыл бұрын
Bobber16 that's what I thought. Revzilla has "will not fit with OEM passenger pegs" as a fitment restriction for the 17 FXDB
@bobber16566 жыл бұрын
That's totally not true. If you look at my video when I get close to the exhaust tips, you can see the plugs on the swingarm where the passenger pegs bolt on. There is plenty of clearance. Passenger pegs WILL fit no problem.
