I'm Chaleese! My favorite things include, listening to Taylor Swift on repeat, binge watching Stranger Things, and talking all things Harry Potter. I have a slight Diet Coke addiction, and I'm not even sorry about it! Obviously, I LOVE creating fun cakes, I have a sprinkle obsession, and I'm not sorry about that either.
I started baking when my 3 boys went to school full time. I had been a mom for so many years, after they left, I felt a bit lost. I needed to do something for me!
Never in a million years did I think, I would be decorating beautiful cakes, making successful macrons, pretty cupcakes and cake cones. I want you to be able to feel like you can do this too. All it takes is practice in YOUR kitchen. Trial and error, with a few tips and tricks from me along the way, and you will be amazing cake decorators before you know it! So, welcome to my kitchen friends, let's get our CAKE on!

Can u put the recipe on for what sort of ingredients you use to make the buttercream as mine keeps going grainy and runny😢
Sure! kzread.info/dash/bejne/YpOqo8ZykdmngZc.html
Hiii, what size is your piping bag
16 in. 🥰
Did you microwave the caramel?
Yep!
You can use vegetable oil only mixed with the luster dust as well
Yes, I tried that! Wasn't the biggest fan though. 😉 kzread.info/dash/bejne/iniezMqnebngf6g.html

Thank you!
Ahhhhh I’ve never Been pinned ily!!
I have white chocolate bars instead of melts and I was just going to add food gel to them, would this still work?
Yes, but white chocolate likes to seize up when you add color to it, I would suggest using oil based food coloring if you add color to white chocolate bars. Good Luck!
What is the temp of the buttercream?
Just room temp, it does start to melt the more you hold the piping bag, so you can put it in the fridge to firm it up, if it starts to get soft while you're piping.
That is so nice! Do you have a recipe for the frosting?
Thank you!! YES! kzread.info/dash/bejne/YpOqo8ZykdmngZc.html
@@chaleesebakescakes Wow thank you very much!
Do you have a link for editable dust for the US?
Yep! Gold Luster Dust: amzn.to/3v6fnj1
What did you add ? Like what measurements? I use the same mix and make cookies & whats neat is you can add in quite a variety of things.
Hi! Here is the full tutorial! 😘 kzread.info/dash/bejne/k5tnqZWBgKy7cZM.html
WOW! These are soooo pretty! 😀💗Mind if I ask how you were able to get such a perfectly thick buttercream frosting consistency? And how your colors didn't bleed into each other?😊
Thank you! In the video the way that I piped all the colors and then rolled them together, that is how they don't bleed together, you just can't let it sit in the piping bag for too long. 😀 Plus, it's all about your buttercream consistency! Yes! I used Chefmaster! amzn.to/499rCcQ
I'm just wondering why you had 3 colors at the beginning if you were gonna mix them together then just have some thin swirls? 🤔
Just for fun?! And the other side of the chocolate shows the 3 colors!
Where do you buy the buttercream icing from?
I made the buttercream. 💕
I just watched your Valentine's cinnamon roll reel on Instagram. Can't wait to try these! Did you roll them like s croissant just because? Will they need to bake any differently with a traditional roll?
I always roll them like a croissant. But, they turned out beautifully when I rolled them into hearts! I baked them the same as the traditional roll! Just watch them and when they are golden brown on top they're ready! Good luck and thanks for watching!!
Nice! Is that a fondant/gumpaste topper? It’s unique!
Thank you! It's Fondant!
Those look so cute and yummy I definitely will try this recipe!
Yay!! I hope you love them!!
Love it. Does it taste like chocolate?
It tastes like Oreos!
Thank you 😊
That looks devine
Thank you!
How long did you let this sit / dry before putting on the cake?
I made this a few days before, you can make it a week in advance also!
Thanks for sharing. Does it matter if it's unsalted or salted butter?
Unsalted. :)
Gorgeous!!
Thank you!!
How did you get the sprinkles on the cone? Do you have a buttercream recipe you can share?
I just spread a little buttercream on the edges of the cone and then rolled it in sprinkles! Here is my buttercream recipe! 😃 kzread.info/dash/bejne/YpOqo8ZykdmngZc.html
Thank you!!
Thank you, got it
Nice
Thank you so much for sharing this video..its really a great help to me ..thank youuu 💖
You're welcome! 💕💕💕
Nice
Thank you!!!
Looks like there was quite a bit of over spray in places hun. .. but if you were happy with it that's what counts ! Might be better to paint it on or even dab it on with a cotton ball. Idk
I have done all those techniques! This was just another fun gold technique I tried. Thanks for the input though 😉
Why not just scrape the excess candy melt off the mold before freezing? Seems like it would make the unmolding process easier and you wouldn't have to worry about breaking the tails while trying to snap off all that excess. Just a suggestion...
I've done it both ways, the tails break and are fragile either way, for me that way is just easier. You can do whatever works best for you! 💜
