My girlfriend and I did a 3 week motorcycle camping trip from Denmark trough Germany and France to Monaco in the late seventies on my GT550. Due to a puncture we only had money left for petrol and had to sleep in a garden and at the edge of a football pitch on our way back. One baguette lasted two days. This sommer I rode to Harz and it felt like cheating when I stayed one night in a hostel. Are you really Scottish?

Been watching your videos and this one has me intrigued I'm planning a trip for next year newcastle to Portsmouth ferry to bilbao Day 1 bilbao to jaca Day 2 jaca to Andorra Day3 Andorra to millau area so Day 4 up gorge du tarn after that I'm still in planning Avoiding tolls and motorways heading to Amsterdam I think after millau probably 4 more nite stops then ferry home to ncl any ideas for those 4 nites average 200miles a day last nite not to close or to far for ferry Thx
There's so many options there but Oradour-sur-Glane is a visit worth doing.

Wow. I stumbled across your vlog in my feed and can honestly say this is the best KZread video I have ever seen. Amazing content and track list but in particular, your editing skills are fantastic. You have to be working in TV/Film industry. I’m a returning biker 15years on from a near fatal bike accident and have just got back on two wheels, looking for inspiration to go touring round Europe. You have certainly given me that. My wife was also glued to the screen, even though she previously wasn’t that keen on getting on the back of my newly acquired GSA. Great stuff, she now seems interested 👏 😀

Enjoy watching all your videos and going to try an put together one from my trip from Broughty to Austria this year. I was brought up with a Brownie Cam so i'm not expecting too much but hey trying is what counts. Saw your one when you were offroad near Cluanie. An excellent reveal about the cause of the rear brake problem - I would never have thought that would have been a cause and where on the road do you turn off for the offroad section that takes on the old road down to where a bridge was.
Ah that road is top secret... it's actually a private road so we thought it best not to share the exact location.👍
Hi guys, only found your KZread channel last week. Now watched quite a few of your videos. Just wanted to say how great they are, really like the format and cinematography, comedy, routes and, well everything really. I ride a 21 GSA and my wife an I have done some European tours ourselves. Last year we did the Grimselpass, Furkapass and Oberalppass and took in France, Belgium Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Luxemburg. Really like touring in Europe and watching your videos is inspiring. Cheers and keep them coming. I'm now subscribed so awaiting new installments.

Subbed, just back from touring Scotland, roads and scenery magnificent, weather was fantastic, struck it lucky there, accommodation and food prices a complete rip off though, Applecross pass? easy enough, don't know what all the fuss is about!! Brilliant place though, if they could ban the stupid camper vans!
Totally agree about the cost of accommodation. You don’t get much for your money sadly. But hope you had a great trip anyway 😀👍🏻🏍️
Typically Scottish weather!?!??! The last and one time I went to Scotland, I had a beautiful and warm weather for 10 day in a row... from Edinburg to Inverness via Talisker! Was I lucky ;)? Good to see you back on the GS! Happy 2024 season!
