I really prefer the version of 66 where clones just executed the order cause that’s what they are - walking war machines following orders. Ironically I find it more dramatic than the new version where they were implanted with chips. Putting orders over any personal friendships with Jedi I think is better character for them than being forced to do it by brainchips. I get the writers wanted to make clones more innocent since they were central to a kids show. But that negates the whole idea of the rise of fascist dictatorship under willing cooperation and applause.

During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, all of the 501st legion had their orders changed. It happened suddenly.
