    Thank you, Mr Fix-it! I had OC light flashing. Followed booklet instructions and then waited a bit to reset power, then LC error came up. I soaked up all the water and LC light is still on. I’m not mechanically inclined so I’ll have to get a person with tools to come do the rest, but at least you have given me something I can show to him. Again, thank you.

    Hey Ivan, when do you recommend I should replace the blade? Mine has become more rounded than the original rectangular shape...

  • @IllGetMyTools
    @IllGetMyTools2 ай бұрын

    You must be using it quite often. My blade is slightly rounded as well, I used a grinder to flatten it out a bit, but without seeing yours it’s tough to tell. Replacement blade is $15. If you need one go pick one up Lowe’s or ace hardware.

  • @martinpena2436
    @martinpena24362 ай бұрын

    But normally, how often are they supposed to be replaced? I couldn’t find the answer in the manual.

  • @IllGetMyTools
    @IllGetMyTools2 ай бұрын

    @@martinpena2436 manual wouldn’t tell you, again, it’s completely based on how often it’s used and what medium it’s going through. I’ve had mine over 2 years and same blade. Depending on how often you use it and how rocky or sandy your soil is wear would obviously be greater.

    whats with all the $20 dollar bit gets it done people. Yea, done once. Also he isnt using a straight bit, its a surfacing bit..Trend is like freud equivalent, middle of the road. A whiteside or infinity router bit can easily surpass $100.00. CMT is good too. Those cheaper bits work, but every woodworker knows that the cheap bits are usually when you start out so you don't ruin an expensive one. He is surfacing a large piece not a cutting board 😂. Your sled is cool too.

    I have the same model. DW80. Are you sure that you do not have an actual leak? You did say that you had water under the dish washer. Drying the sensor only gave me two weeks before the LC error came back again. My dishwasher is not on an outside wall, so I don't think it is condensation. I really need to find out what is leaking. Unfortunately, like yours, nothing is obviously wet. I am thinking of installing a very small pump to pump the water out of the drain pan.

    Great joy on the door very helpful! Did you use Gel or Regular stain? I thought I goofed but after watching this maybe not. I used regular Minwax Red Oak 215 (not gel) stain. It seems to take longer for it to dry. In you experience will this stain be fine? OR do I need to remove it 🥵and use Gel? thx in advance.

  • @IllGetMyTools
    @IllGetMyTools3 ай бұрын

    Regular Stain works fine but yes it will definitely take some time to dry, as I stated it doesn’t absorb into the fiberglass it basically dries and sits on top. So make sure you use a polyurethane or whatever other top coat to seal it all in once it dries.

    A quick fix to that as long as there isn't a leaking tube from the disposal or a leaking water hose is to just unscrew the side panel after you pull the dishwasher out and get a wet vac with a thin attachment to suck out whatever water there is at the vottom

    Hello great video i have been hearing that if you don’t dig the grass up some people have had grass in their pools. With the method you used with the foam board did you have that issue.

  • @IllGetMyTools

    The tarp at the end works pretty well to keep grass out. The problem is if the kids are in and out around the yard the grass is going to end up in the pool. I got a pool screen to fish out the grass and even bugs that do get in there
