A small sawmill operation that shows how to run and maintain a circular sawmill. We saw small custom orders from pine and hardwood logs that we get from a land clearing co. I also have a wood shop that I use the milled lumber for furniture & cabinets too hope all enjoy this channel ! We now have a online store for tee shirts & hats at markgalicicchannel.com/ please go check it out!

these men are very fast...
Y'ALL should get za wood pellet machine use it to make wood pellets out of the sawdust.
I'm from Wisconsin, so I have no idea how the right way to hang the Texas flag.
😛😛😛😛😛😛❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
the thing with the dogs is brutal on the wood.
you need a bigger blade
On Vacation...😎😎👍👍 snake Video!!!!
Late to the Party! Was on vacation. Love the big logs. 😎😎👍👍Video!
Awesome video..funny when you loose patience with Eddie 😅😂. What type of spruce is that?
Amazing skill in both sawing and reading the logs! I enjoy watching every video.
I live in Canada. Powell River .BC. to be presice. My first 10 yes. We're in the sawmill business. I'm 74 now. And have been using lumber now to build houses. I love watching you guys cutting various species. Keep up the good work
The time-lapse wasn't so bad. Made for a good end piece to the video. If you hadn't told us, I'd have guessed it was intentional.
thank you , it did turn out good.
Why don’t you add a big old thermometer in the background of sawing to see temp while you saw?????
I would imagine u have a table saw not sure if it's quicker to remove the live edge especially if u are gonna rip to specific dimensions but not only am I impressed I might be in love with that saw she's easy on the eyes means she's hell on the hearing
It may be primitive, but it still cuts wood.
I struggle to watch Eddie's Eddie's channel because all you hear is the sound of the Mill really really loudly. So I'll take your narrative anytime.
thanks Kevin glad you like the narrative.
I Love Turtles!...
we made a lot of them today lol!
would rather hear the saw working than waffle from mark
then shut off the sound cause i don't like your waffle either.
You need to find the video no # 391 on this channel for sawing without commentary, to hear the sound of the saw from where the GoPro is mounted. However many of us appreciate Mark explaining his thought process when sawing, it’s a big part of this channel and long may it remain.
no more waffles George but pancakes are ok lol!
@@TheMarkBell Exactly.
@@TheMarkBell i agree.
Those spruce logs seem to spit bark like a machine gun and as far as the first log you had Time Lasped (which is actually kind of neat for a change), I got to see that on Time with Eddie, so it was not a total FUBAR! 👏🏽 👍🏼☺
thank you , I did like the time laps too.
How many HP for your electric motor? I actually use 10hp and sometimes it is not working smoothly.
we run a 671 Detroit diesel no electric motors here.
hey mark what's going on? i try to put a like on your videos and you tube won't let me. i have been binge watching your videos and my way of knowing what has been watched and what hasn't is by the like button. now the pin heads at you tube won't let my likes register.
FÁBRICA DE TORAS... E ( TARTARUGAS... SUTIÃS.... RELÓGIOS ... OLHO DE HÓRUS...) 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 EU VEJO TUDO ISSO CAINDO DA SERRA...
yes lots of turtles today.
Really, the Timelapse wasn’t a mistake,it was actually an error that turned out perfect. Need more of them. Thank you for adding it. How are you doing on the deck upgrade for the saw?
thank you , I did like it too lol!
Anyone else get a good laugh when he said, "Don't wanna give Eddie something too heavy to deal with?" Pretty much any 4/4 18ft long oak board is going to be heavy and unwieldy. Great Job Eddie and Mark! I wish you were close by me. but PA is a little far to go get some wood.
What are rules governing use of sawmill lumber in construction? I was told in Maryland in needed a lumber stamp to be legally used in residential construction.
That is true in most states for all "residential" and especially commercial construction! 🧐 Otherwise, you can use rough-sawn lumber for anything else!
this is a outdoor structure.
Thanks!
Thank you Dale!
Nice to see long logs again
don't tell Eddie that lol!
¡Excelente video! Me encantó ver el proceso de cortar los troncos de abeto y cómo los convierten en tablas útiles. Además, aprendí mucho sobre la técnica y la precisión necesarias en este trabajo. ¡Gracias por compartir!
thank you glad you liked it.
It’s marble wood, it’s expensive wood
Loved the little Zziitt, Zziitt every time you go through a knot 😜
lots of them today.
Out here on the West Coast, Spruce is not cut into dimensional wood so this beautiful wood all goes to pulp. Good to see it being used for a building project by the Fire Chief. I enjoyed the time lapse. Why not put one time lapse at the end of every video?
thanks Jim , the time laps video would take a second camera and it would be stationary not follow the log.
Oh boy , alot of waste until a proper plank, hope you dident pay much for this lumber Mark, anyway well done
we edged most of the short boards.
Eight o’clock in the morning having breakfast while watching you guys that’s some nice spruce boards coming off the mill , todays job going to help a neighbour build a metal frame on his garage for an electric door he has a Karen for a neighbour the large sort who needs two barstools who objects to everything, could be a fun day I’ll take Suzy anyway you guys have a nice day
thanks Alex.
What is the diameter of the saw
56"
Can you put the timelapse up as a KZread short? YT seem to be pushing them hard
thats a great idea.
@@markgalicic7788 If it works you could do it as a regular thing
I like it when you narrate. The people that don't like your narration can go fly a kite! It helps knowing what's going on by your description don't let anybody else say anything. I also get it off of KZread where they make a collage or whatever you want to call it rows and rows of all the videos and I listen to it all night while I sleep. I'm a gearhead I like the sound of a motor I like the sound of the song and your narration is perfect for everything. Other people may not thank you but I thank you!
thank you , great comment. I like the BOOM sign!
Very creative, love the way you work,
What a couple of frustrating logs.
yes for sure.
That log was huge🫣
yes it was and very heavy.
I liked that time lapse. Maybe you can do another one.
thank you , I just may do that
🤗❤️🤸♂️
thanks Sharon.
Mark - I appreciate your narration, really helps to understand why you are doing certain things. Thanks!
thank you.
hot dam as the old timmers would say that stuff is longer than a wet week!! nice sawing
thanks Cedric.
Thanks
Thank you Graham!
Thanks!
Thank you Scott!
Hi guys. I've heard Mark talk about bits of wood getting stuck between the saw and the table which can make the blade heat up. Rather then having to shut down each time, could a digital laser thermometer be able to take a quick check of the blade's temperature?
I do have one but you need to remove anything that gets stuck as soon as you see it.
I like the way you all put quality before quantity.
thanks McKinley.
I have watched a few other saw mills and I like yours the best because I enjoy the close up of the grain and listening to you think out loud as to what to do next to get the best cut. Thank you
I like how you can tell when they bring in the Mark stunt double to do the hard stuff, make the big calls. I mean Mark2.0 has got a British accent? Mark's got a hand signal for 'Bring in the stunt double' it's usually just before the cab is about to take on a dusting of Man Glitter. You can tell by the abrupt cuts, sometimes Mark is caught yelling for his 'LINE.' Script Girl: 'I'm Mark'
I also appreciate Mark's narrartion so I understand why he's doing something a certain way.
thank you Linda.
It’s amazing how he puts a round peg through a square hole. Love the stop signs!
thank you.
Enjoy watching your channel very calming and self reflecting for me.
thank you glad you like it.
