Women really don't get a break in Turkish culture. Beril was depressed from the death of her father and the loss of her fiance, most likely suffering from postpartum depression. She was also around gaslighter in chief, masquerading as her friend, what was she to do? At least she gave birth to the child.
Daghan really loves Selvi but due to what happened to him he cant trust her, whereas she loves him very much too but due to her guilt for betraying him as a child cant relax into the relationship and is insecure ( jealous…) so sad !
