I pulled Shirimani on my first sacred out of 11. I’m at least setup for a double leggo event on sacreds. Did finally 1 key brutal hydra this week so happy about that. On the non hydra clash week haha

@@Pocket2004 I think he's pretty much set up in hydra with the Draco Pythion Krisk. For arena, I feel like you need the Ramantu to really benefit from the anti-sheep element. Or you just have to join the stoneskin meta in order wait out other folks' stoneskin. Unlocking the block revive is massive tho.

That guy is a screen filler. Oh well. Was lucky myself, pulled 5 sacreds (was right at mercy to start) and got Bloodgorged (meh), and the 10x guy Teox. Had a crazy lucky week and pulled all three boosted chance champions. Acrizia (My first pulled Void Legendary), Wallmaster Othorion, and Legate Teox. This was all with very limited shards. Pretty sure that means my luck will be terrible for a long time going forward...but that's ok, was a fun ride. I don't believe I've ever hit 10x/15x champs before...and now all 3 in near succession events... TIme to buy a lotto ticket.

I'm doing hard 10 with akemtum, double husk, seer and stag knight. I tried to do mord and achak in random cursed city bolster gear builds but mord kept dying with the food on normal so I was like oh well whatever. First time ever using achak in spider he's pretty cool with his passive.

Oh that hard team sounds super cool. I know I could get my concept to work if I build another hex champion like Vildrax, but that wasn't worth my resources for a one off tournament. Achak was my goat back in the day, shocked to hear you'd never used him.

Even without getting Maud, the chest rewards are pretty sweet. IMHO, worth getting the chest rewards for HMM. Also, I would wait to pull the Prism Shards until Champion Chase. It is at least 250 Champion Chase points and will give you "free" resources if you wait. Also, we are expecting 2x ancients this weekend. So may be better to wait for sacred shards.

I have hit gold a few months ago, I have come up and down a couple times, its hard for me to play multiple times on a sunday night so sometimes i got demoted, but I'm past the ramantu mission. Just yesterday I finished building stalthus, as a defense nuker i think he is a great addition to a 3v3 defense, and with other champ rebuilds I think I now will have an easier time staying, but 3v3 is really champ intensive in my opinion, you really need at least some quality champions (obviously gear as well but its not enough in my opinion) or you need some really ingenious team building and hard work on reset days as defenses no matter how ingenious you are, weaker champs are just going to get slammed on defense. I like the team building aspect, I would just like that first it wasnt so time consuming and second that the top would be a % and not a number cap, its super hard to get into gold for the first time, and even more staying in it even a week, even the redzone in reset is insane for more early accounts.

Hello! I know you said that you try to not re-gear people, but in case of Sand Devil gearing Husk in regen+immortal with at least 100k hp and ~230 speed allows him to clear it on auto in around 10 minutes (and mine wasn't crit capped, hard to do with these stats). With presets available it might be a nice time saver next time this rotation comes. Also with nerf to SD destroy maxHP maybe immortal isn't reqiured, haven't tested it.

Yeah, that can happen. Essentially each tier aside from B1 has a limited number of slots. So when the dust settles after reset if there's enough room in your tier then the folks at top red will still stay. But I've had weeks where I've been on the bottom edge of yellow for G1, been attacked once and then sent to S4.

First of all, I love seeing your channel grow, Kads! I am going for this guy, I am really excited for him. I think its a huge flavor win, and the future potential is pretty unlimited. I already have a hydra team in mind and am working on leveling/gearing the champs. I think I am going to try to get as many of the fragments as possible. Getting extra frags will get me closer to Maud, bit by bit.

I am going for him. His taunt should help me progress in hydra. Bronko did a video showing a Yannica/Wixwell hydra team which looks promising. OddOneGaming showed using him for hard spider 10 using champs most late mid game players should have. Even without hounds, I think his kit is good. Taunt, block buffs, TM fill. All solid. The hex is not as useful for hydra, as it is only 1 turn and you must be attacked for it to proc. So if you are bringing another hex champ, I don't think Shy'ek's hex will be very useful. But still a good champion, just not as good as Armanz. Also, I remember at this point in Wixwell's fusion, people were poo-pooing him cause they had not figured out the shield yet. Now Wixwell is super amazing, especially sorting out Clan Boss. My clan would daily take down NM/UNM. But sometimes someone had to do extra hits to finish them off. With a handful of us upgraded to Wixwell teams, we easily beat H/B/NM/UNM each day. More chests, more resources. Shy'ek especially good for newer players, but should be solid for most end gamers as well.

Well the taunt helps him get attacked is the whole point right? Hence that empowers the hex. Plus most hydra heads have loads of aoe attacks.

I was totally set on skipping - BUT I already have a Shemnath, so I'm debating doing the 150 Ancients (which I have) for FG because Ankora and Narses are frequently used by me. And if I do the Summon Rush, feels like I should do it all, since I already do everything except training and shard events usually by default. I think its slimy of them to say "oh, we'll add 1 or more dogs - but we won't tell you what they are."

That's an interesting situation! Honestly that's part of why I do every fusion. It's the only time I run the core dungeons and I have the shards for minimum rewards at all times. May as well stack up the legendaries. I get your take about the hidden nature of future companion champs, but I dunno my positive bias gives me more hope than fomo.

Don't tell everyone to use food champs, I like the troll 1 man defense teams lol. Nearly every week I pick up the "Absorb 5,000,000 damage with Shields buffs in Tag Team Arena Offense (wins only)" quest and complete it for my clan because no one else will do it. It takes most of the week to complete the quest and I complete it mostly by attacking 1 man defenses but I target the ones that arn't just food champs. Also the advanced quest where you have to beat a team in tag with higher team power I look for high power solo Duchess or Marichka to take out with my Rotos or Fatalis. The two things I would add to the video is that for defenses you need to either threaten speed with all three of your teams or none at all. If you can hide your fastest team you have a higher likelihood of taking at least one win, if they can guess which is your fastest they can counter it but most people can't build 3 fast offense teams. Tanky defenses are often easier to build. And the second thing I would add to this is that the best time to climb in Tag Arena is the reset following a Personal Rewards CvC. People will often try to rank up the Sunday before PR CvC to get more points towards CvC but let themselves drop after. If you keep your Defenses up all week you can still farm easy 1 man defenses during CvC, keep your bar in the green and if you are desperate to get to Gold 1 you can even refresh and save a page of easy fights for Sunday by not playing Tag Arena on Friday or Saturday as long as your Defenses keeps you in or near the green.

Anyway the rewards are disappointing because we used to get a void shard or something cool for doing $2,750 I would hope we would get better than 10 essence. I did a team of seer Doom priest mausoleum mage geomancer and dark kale on hard six just to see how the run would be and if it would work I didn't try any higher because there's no 3x speed or anything on right now just for fun to see how they would clear it and they did it okay. Hopefully your CVC is a close matchup and you walk away with a win

I've summoned on 1+1, got Lady Kimi and Bloodgorged, both new. So I entered x2 with fresh mercy. I decided to skip and keep saving shards. But then I needed some energy and I since there was energy at 250 points in champ chase - I decided to pull couple of shards until I'm there. I pull 1st shard and who do you think comes out? Epic! Endalia! 1 shard and the last epic for Lady Mikage is acquired!

I blew through around 100 shards because my mercy count was way off. That said, the 10 pop that got my POGO awarded me a Lyssandra and Abbess, and two shards later got me a dupe Dracomorph! That finished my lizardmen faction guardians. It was awesome.

I got my first Gaius and second Basileus Roanus. As far as 2x goes, how many are you going to pull? I know there will be a champ chase to accompany it. Are you trying to get tons of epics to empower for Sintranos?

Congrats! I love bombs in the arena (when I’m not a sheep). For the 2x, my standard goal is the first leggo tome offered in the Champ chase. That usually equates to between 60-80 shards depending on luck. Empowered epic are not essential for my cursed city progression but more just a why not type thing. Makes em stronger for anything I use them for.

I like the team building aspect, I would just like that first it wasnt so time consuming and second that the top would be a % and not a number cap, its super hard to get into gold for the first time, and even more staying in it even a week, even the redzone in reset is insane for more early accounts.
Yeah, I do really hope one day they change it to % so it scales with the player base. Staltus is so good for those standard madame serris teams.

The percentage of Epics, Legendaries, and Mythics are listed. You're fooling yourself if you expect more so it is good imo to keep it real. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...every time I watch one of your videos I appreciate your self-control and having so many shards saved up. I want a guy like you to do my finances.

Hello! I know you said that you try to not re-gear people, but in case of Sand Devil gearing Husk in regen+immortal with at least 100k hp and ~230 speed allows him to clear it on auto in around 10 minutes (and mine wasn't crit capped, hard to do with these stats). With presets available it might be a nice time saver next time this rotation comes. Also with nerf to SD destroy maxHP maybe immortal isn't reqiured, haven't tested it.

Yeah, that can happen. Essentially each tier aside from B1 has a limited number of slots. So when the dust settles after reset if there's enough room in your tier then the folks at top red will still stay. But I've had weeks where I've been on the bottom edge of yellow for G1, been attacked once and then sent to S4.

First of all, I love seeing your channel grow, Kads! I am going for this guy, I am really excited for him. I think its a huge flavor win, and the future potential is pretty unlimited. I already have a hydra team in mind and am working on leveling/gearing the champs. I think I am going to try to get as many of the fragments as possible. Getting extra frags will get me closer to Maud, bit by bit.
This may be a shock, but I like seeing it grow too! ;) I really need to be better about getting extra fragments for Maud. I've literally made 0 progress towards her.
I am going for him. His taunt should help me progress in hydra. Bronko did a video showing a Yannica/Wixwell hydra team which looks promising. OddOneGaming showed using him for hard spider 10 using champs most late mid game players should have. Even without hounds, I think his kit is good. Taunt, block buffs, TM fill. All solid. The hex is not as useful for hydra, as it is only 1 turn and you must be attacked for it to proc. So if you are bringing another hex champ, I don't think Shy'ek's hex will be very useful. But still a good champion, just not as good as Armanz. Also, I remember at this point in Wixwell's fusion, people were poo-pooing him cause they had not figured out the shield yet. Now Wixwell is super amazing, especially sorting out Clan Boss. My clan would daily take down NM/UNM. But sometimes someone had to do extra hits to finish them off. With a handful of us upgraded to Wixwell teams, we easily beat H/B/NM/UNM each day. More chests, more resources. Shy'ek especially good for newer players, but should be solid for most end gamers as well.
Well the taunt helps him get attacked is the whole point right? Hence that empowers the hex. Plus most hydra heads have loads of aoe attacks.

I'm doing the 150 ancients for shemnath bc it's a faction guardian so 30/30 for my teodor, ankoras, even hegemon I guess haha.

I was totally set on skipping - BUT I already have a Shemnath, so I'm debating doing the 150 Ancients (which I have) for FG because Ankora and Narses are frequently used by me. And if I do the Summon Rush, feels like I should do it all, since I already do everything except training and shard events usually by default. I think its slimy of them to say "oh, we'll add 1 or more dogs - but we won't tell you what they are."

That's an interesting situation! Honestly that's part of why I do every fusion. It's the only time I run the core dungeons and I have the shards for minimum rewards at all times. May as well stack up the legendaries. I get your take about the hidden nature of future companion champs, but I dunno my positive bias gives me more hope than fomo.

Don't tell everyone to use food champs, I like the troll 1 man defense teams lol. Nearly every week I pick up the "Absorb 5,000,000 damage with Shields buffs in Tag Team Arena Offense (wins only)" quest and complete it for my clan because no one else will do it. It takes most of the week to complete the quest and I complete it mostly by attacking 1 man defenses but I target the ones that arn't just food champs. Also the advanced quest where you have to beat a team in tag with higher team power I look for high power solo Duchess or Marichka to take out with my Rotos or Fatalis. The two things I would add to the video is that for defenses you need to either threaten speed with all three of your teams or none at all. If you can hide your fastest team you have a higher likelihood of taking at least one win, if they can guess which is your fastest they can counter it but most people can't build 3 fast offense teams. Tanky defenses are often easier to build. And the second thing I would add to this is that the best time to climb in Tag Arena is the reset following a Personal Rewards CvC. People will often try to rank up the Sunday before PR CvC to get more points towards CvC but let themselves drop after. If you keep your Defenses up all week you can still farm easy 1 man defenses during CvC, keep your bar in the green and if you are desperate to get to Gold 1 you can even refresh and save a page of easy fights for Sunday by not playing Tag Arena on Friday or Saturday as long as your Defenses keeps you in or near the green.
Ya know you bring up a solid point about that advanced quest... Those other tips are quite handy as well!

Dang I typed up the comment and then for some reason I fat fingered it and my comment my way. Anyway the rewards are disappointing because we used to get a void shard or something cool for doing $2,750 I would hope we would get better than 10 essence. I did a team of seer Doom priest mausoleum mage geomancer and dark kale on hard six just to see how the run would be and if it would work I didn't try any higher because there's no 3x speed or anything on right now just for fun to see how they would clear it and they did it okay. Hopefully your CVC is a close matchup and you walk away with a win

I went way too hard into the paint for the previous POGO, so I only pulled 20 ancients for this event. Nothing to report, I think I got maybe 3 epics in the lot, nothing to write home about.

I've summoned on 1+1, got Lady Kimi and Bloodgorged, both new. So I entered x2 with fresh mercy. I decided to skip and keep saving shards. But then I needed some energy and I since there was energy at 250 points in champ chase - I decided to pull couple of shards until I'm there. I pull 1st shard and who do you think comes out? Epic! Endalia! 1 shard and the last epic for Lady Mikage is acquired!

Frostbite is quite interesting! I've never used that set but I've been frozen by it here and there haha.
I blew through around 100 shards because my mercy count was way off. That said, the 10 pop that got my POGO awarded me a Lyssandra and Abbess, and two shards later got me a dupe Dracomorph! That finished my lizardmen faction guardians. It was awesome.

Kads your channel is invaluable for f2p raiders. Have you ever considered creating a showcase for gearsets (accuracy to zeal) with the four starter champions? Once or twice a month with each starter in the same gear to show how they perform in Raid...
Interesting idea. I generally assume folks have a good grasp on the gear sets by now. But even then, I think most players should focus on stats over sets.

Congrats! I love bombs in the arena (when I’m not a sheep). For the 2x, my standard goal is the first leggo tome offered in the Champ chase. That usually equates to between 60-80 shards depending on luck. Empowered epic are not essential for my cursed city progression but more just a why not type thing. Makes em stronger for anything I use them for.
