What do you in the winter with the ferns do you just bring them in or do they die
@@gracemessageministries2881 I’ve tried bringing them in, but they’re just too messy, they drop fronds all winter. I just toss them at the end of the season and buy new ones the next year.
@TamsPlace ok thank you so much have a blessed day my love
Thank you for sharing your wisdom❤ This was so helpful 😊
Rhank you gor tgis video. I am yrying to be a plant mom and all the ferns i have bought have died in this manner. I have two new ones that ive had for a month and this is exactly whats happened to them.
My poor fern has not been given miracle grow for over two months. Can I cut off the brown dead strands? Begin applying the nutrients every couple of weeks will my baby grow back? Big and green and long? Thank you! 🫶💜🫶🙏🏼
You can try it and see😊
It’s great that you’re warning people about the caterpillars. I’m in NC, and I just got my first Boston Fern last month, and today, I threw it away:( Unbeknownst to me, it was being eaten away by these caterpillars for the last month, and I couldn’t understand the “seeds” (caterpillar droppings) that I kept finding all over the floor. Finally, I found and got rid of one, then two, then three caterpillars, and I thought I was in the clear, but I found what I believe to have been the first moth by the base of the plant last night. Maybe someday I’ll be brave enough to try ferns again (from the North lol), but I don’t think I’d dare have them indoors because of this exact problem. I can’t shake the fear that they’ve built some kind of nest inside my home🤢
Same thing happened to me, two listings removed as "counterfeit" - generic artwork t-shirts! AI bots were responsible for the removals. Mark my words, it won't be long before AI robots will control every aspect of our lives!
I am also from KY and been thinking about buying a fern. Im just trying to get a little info. I want to just have as a house plant not have it outside. Are they easy to take care of in the house or do i need to put them outside? Thank you neighbor for the video.
You can care for them inside, but they drop so many fronds during the winter months, they make a mess. When I made this video I was still buying Boston ferns, but every time I buy them they have those Florida fern worms and I got tired of fighting them. I haven’t bought Boston ferns for two years now for that very reason, and it doesn’t matter where I buy them, they always get the worms☹️I need to do an updated video, Lol!
Thank you
Beautiful 😍
Making sure that boy is happy❤🇺🇲👍
Your f Ernst are gorgeous. I have great luck with Boston ferns too, believe me, I don't know why , but I just wondered about overwintering? I tried once and they didn't love it! I'm in The midwest. Thanks
Thank you! Yes, I think you can overwater them. They like the soil to be consistently moist but not soggy or saturated.☺️
Hope all is well with you Tam, think of you from time to time, miss your laugh and light. 🥰
Awww, I’m doing well. Thank you so much!🥰
Hope all is well with you Tam, think of you from time to time, miss your laugh and light. 🥰
Is this the the same little kid (except a little older now) who was with his mom in another video when his daddy was running a Norfolk train??
No, different little fella☺️
Mine are from Huntersville NC a nursery there who sells to Lowes . We just pur back into the hard container the MG comes in.
My grandad did the same with me...but i lost that curiosity and eagerness because I grew up too soon. My unpredictable and peripatethic childhood made me grow up too soon. To this grandpa in this video if anything were to happen to his parents don't leave him alone. Take him to those train tracks no matter how old he grows because childhood is a short period what he remembers during those moments will be remembered for long.
By the the look on Grandads smiling face I feel the Grandson cam by it honestly. love yall
I live in Florida, look like lizard droppings to me.
My dad was a C&O engineer. My mother and I would drop him off at the railyard dispatchers office then head out to a crossing to watch his train. As he passed by, he'd throw out the window a fusee with a ten dollar bill wrapped around it and we'd go to McDonald's for lunch. My fondest memory of my dad was the day he took me for a ride and let me blow the horn! Now I'm 72 and still stop for every train I see. And when I hear a horn in the distance, I like to think it's my dad saying, "Hello".
Awww, that is the sweetest story!!🥰Thank you so much for sharing that!!
Very nice work
Maybe she'll grow up to take somebody's place and keep these trains rolling down the line. So glad the powers that be are keeping the industry going.
Hiya Tam, this was a superb tutorial. I really enjoyed it, and it was very helpful thankyou. I live in Lancashire, England, and we get lots of wet weather and very little sun. So my ferns thrive well. I was thinking of dividing them at the root ball so that I can use them for ground cover. My friends love my garden as it leads to an upward slope and it's at the slope where I have planted all the shrubs and fern. They tell me that my garden looks like a Japanese garden, so I am happy and thrilled with the outcome of my landscaping attempt.
Thank you for watching and I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Your backyard sounds so beautiful! Thank you for sharing☺️
Can I use my compost to feed my ferns?
I’ve never used compost, so I’m not sure? I’ve only used miracle grow. I’m not sure if compost would burn them?
@@TamsPlace I usually grind a little up and add it to the top soil of my roses and then water well, wasn’t sure if it would work for my ferns also
Thank YOU for the good information.
You’re welcome!😊
Futuro maquinista!!!😍
I'd be pissed too readybfor a new site Ebay is pathetic now.
Smh they are so greedy its a shame I already pay to share how can u charge me to promote, that's what we are all paying for already, to promote out items. Their court date is gonna cost them so much more than their bullsh×× made cost and extra fees I can't wait to see the millions Billions they will have to reimburse us sellers.😮😂🎉❤😮
Coming soon in lawsuits.they will wish they can sell. The new site is so much better. Bye Bye Ebay......🎉
Don't worry you will now😮
Absolutely love the high 5 toward the end🖐🏼brings a smile to my face😃
I'm imaging about my friend ava, Sarah, Miranda at the railroad crossing, and the first train was me. And they wave at me, and I give them a honk
You can sure see grandpa's genes in that little fella.
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom. Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our beloved ones again! :-)
So sweet. It's the little things...
Can we honestly still call them engineers?
Where are you. I have really missed you finding treasures at garage sales! I still have my coach purse and video camera I bought from you. Please come back!
Let him always feel loved and special.
Absolutely superb 👌
☺️
hey tam , WOW. you ever grow ferns indoors ?
No, not the Boston ferns, they drop their fronds and are so messy to bring in, in the fall☹️
This just melts your heart..a trainfan for life!
Gotta love "ole Granpops" and the "kid", watchin' the train go by! And that first "engine driver" had a nice salute !
Spent literally thousands of hours alondside the rails when my son was growing up! He loved trains, and I loved every minute doing it with him. He will be 30 this yr '2024'. He is now a conductor, riding in the cabs. I occasioally drive a few miles to the rail line, just to wave as he passes!
Awww! That’s such a wonderful memory! Thank you for sharing!j❤️
Come baaaaaack! I liked your channel, especially reselling content. And ... your frequent giggles were so cute and refreshing!!
Awww, thank you! Hopefully I’ll be back this year with some new videos. I have a helper now😉
@@TamsPlace YAY!!
It must be great for little kids to watch themselves in these videos after years. These videos hold precious memories and happiness.
Yes, great memories!🥰
Odd to see an ACe with a K5HL, they usually have a K5LLA
Made me subscribe!
Nice catch with UP leading
Yup , still happening
Beautiful items..what are you asking for the life magazine with Miss Shirley Timple on the front..thank you ...
I’m sorry, that’s been sold.
Okay thanks...
Awesome display
I received 2 emails a day apart that said I was selling counterfeit items. In checking on the Lauren wallet and found two similar wallets that were still listed. On the Stranger Things socks I found multiple listings that looked just like mine. I've had these listed for months. I'm really confused. This happened on the weekend, so I didn't try to contact Ebay. I am really scared to post anything with a known brand. You are not alone.
How often do you water with the MG mix? Sorry if I missed that in the video.
I fertilize with MG about once every two weeks.
