Wow, this is awesome!
@@MuddyDrivewayProductions Thanks Muddy!
👍
Nice video! I just hooked one up! So glad db had a spare woodriff key
Could i ask a question please is the jackshaft for the surron the same size as the belt drive shaft 4 the e ride pro .got me thinking .could i fit the surron chain drive on a e ride pro basically ....thanks
Hey, great question! EDirtbike.com has 219 and 420 kits specifically for eride pro here’s the link to all our eride pro parts: americansurron.com/collections/e-ride-pro-performance-and-maintenance-parts
That is fantastic man! Looks like you were having a blast too. Thanks for the help on the tether kill switch as well, much appreciated!
Se puede dar marcha atrás con talaria sting?
No, Talaria and Light Bee do not have reverse, Ultra Bee does have it.
Does anyone know how to disable the temperature sensor. My surron only works when it's warm and sunny. I've tried everything else...
Hey @5150lefont there might be other issues going on. You are welcome to contact us tomorrow during business hours 9-5 ET and we would be happy to help you troubleshoot it. Phone number is on EDirtyBike.com
Awesomeness!
Was there a primary chain drive installed on this motor by any chance?
No, it was a stock belt.
Just a FYI, my Surron kept cutting out and all the safety switches and tilt sensor were unplugged. Replaced the throttle, no luck. Tried different battery, no luck. Opened the motor, it looks clean and fine. Check wiring, no luck. Bought a KO Pro controller and the motor ran backwards at first. Switched two phase wires, it jerked like crazy so switched them back. Recalibrated with the app and finally it learned to go forwards, Now its finally running and seems normal again. Not sure if my magnet slipped but it seems to be fixed so far. Crazy issue.
I'll say! Great troubleshooting, glad you were able to fix it.
between this and the 420 chain kit, when is the 420 necessary?
Great question! Any time you're running over 20Kw the 420 is necessary.
can you put together a kit with the jackshaft + primary rear sprocket + secondary front sprocket, primary front sprocket + spacer?
Great idea but it would be tough to stock kits for every size of rear sprocket we carry. We can offer you a discount code if you want to build a custom kit, just msg us at [email protected] and we'll hook you up :)
Thanks for the video, any info on range difference running this versus the belt? Chain typically is more efficient than belt, but who knows in this application?
Belt v/s chain range would be comparable, if all other variables are the same. SWAG says a non-O-ring chain might have a bit more drag. Great idea for a test video!
When will this be available again? Can't find anyone else selling these for the Ultra. Thank you.
We JUST got them back in stock, here's the link! Thanks for choosing DirtyBike! americansurron.com/products/dirtybike-420-gold-series-primary-belt-to-chain-conversion-kit-sealed-x-ring-surron-ultra-bee
Funny how easy these guys make this look. Is that a brand new bike? Because it was a HUGE pain in the dick for me, in fact Imquit after about 10 seconds. Dealing w those rivets is absolutely NOT worth it
Those rivets ARE a huge pain in the dick! If you're in Central FL, bring your bike over and we'll do it for you.
❤👍😎
🦾🚀💯 nice work guys!
Thank you!
Awesome!
Thanks!
I heard someone say 4 hours but i am thinking mor like an 60-90mins
Yes, including variables such as your skill level, setup, etc.
I just bought the same setup i wondering how long does the job take estimate in orange too lol
1-2 hours if you have all the correct tools.
Do you need to lube the chain?
Yes! Every ride! And don’t over-tighten! Check out our installation video to see the adjustment process.
Wow, im starting to debate wether or not to loose my stark to get an UB, because its so configurable
That's why we like it too, especially at the price point.
Ultrabee is awesome! ❤ I'd think about getting get a stark if it had a hot swap option like the ultrbee
Don't
@lironglickman9611 loll
Who makes the primary chain guard shown in the pic on your webpage? Looks nice!

Does the bike come with blinkers in front and back, and does it have a horn?
It has a horn but no blinkers.
Thanks for the video! I would like to see a video on changing the break pads on the Ultra-Bee.
Great idea! We will do that, stay tuned.
Hi, do you have a video of the noise comparision?
Hey, thanks for the comment! We just did a noise comparison on the Light Bee, stock belt v/s 219 RK chain drive, it's up on our IG, here's the link: instagram.com/p/C2xihMEL8i1/
My sports mode won’t work. Will this be the same problem
No, the hall sensor has nothing to do with eco/sport modes. I would check your wiring connectors.
@@db_dirtybike I swapped the eco / spots switch out and it worked
Haw is the noise compared to belt?
It's a little bit noisier but not too bad.
did u just cut the wire for the old one?
My bike runs fine for 15 minutes then cuts out after an hour it runs again would this be the issue?
Can i order this on ur site? Dont see it
What happened to oak island?
Did u solved it?
Would you pick the Fast Ace fork over the DNM if you had the choice? I’m a light rider at 150 and have the option but not sure which to pick.
Great question. For your weight either would work fine for basic trail riding, however if you are planning to do more aggressive riding you’ll want to upgrade to a higher quality fork like a Fox Float 40.
Hi! Is there a way to unlock the road legal version? I have cut the looped wire and input the code but nothing happens. Please answer=)
Hi Konny, if you bought the bike from us the instructions were included in the box. If you didn't buy it from us, email [email protected] and we'll email you the instructions.
My motor stopped,, it jerked,, now its difficult to push even when off with battery disconnected,, did a magnet break , do i need a new motor?
Possibly. Check your primary belt also. Make sure it is not damaged.
Mike was one of my instructors at MMI in 2014. He was awesome and very down to earth. If I had to pick between him or Paul as Yamaha instructor, it would be Mike.
Thanks Brad, I appreciate it, hope you are doing well!
@@db_dirtybike Thanks Mike. I am! Have a great day!
Why doesn’t my surron have holes to screw in ?
db Front Fender fits KKE and DNM forks. You must have the RST forks. No problem to return it though.
So BAC8000 or KO controller?
I don't have any experience with KO but the BAC8000 is solid
Can u or someone that got a bac 8000 pls tell me the measurement of the controller than in advance.
How much
Sold out at $4699. If you're interested in the next shipment, you can bookmark it here: americansurron.com/collections/bikes/products/talaria-sting
My offer is 9k for it
I was hoping to hear which socks were in the front

I have the killah fork from 2021 surrons, what am I going to do!?
Upgrade to the DNM fork!
@@db_dirtybike I can’t afford a new fork now c’mon
maybe use a plastic razor blade so not scratching the bike?
Great idea, thanks!
got a question does the controller make the talaria sting much faster in speed or acceleration with the stock battery in it? would really like to know your opinion
Watch the vids on my channel but yes u can pull 7000watts from a stock non bypassed battery safely and 8-9000 from a bypassed one
I want to know why it is so expensive. Is it 22 karat or 18 karat gold inside? It is supposed to cost only $1000
