  People never used to talk about hitting your opponent. But at the really high levels, they do aim for you at the kitchen because you have no time to react even if the ball is for sure going to go out. And even if they do hit the ball back, it's either going to be a neutral or defensive ball or even a pop up. It's more rare that you hit a hard shot at someone and someone destroys the ball back at you.

  Well that's kind of wild and crazy LOL. For me, sometimes it's hard to even tell the difference between a quick double hit versus a single hit. Personally I doubt it would be a useful move and that accidentally it would only happen to beginner players not advanced players. Thanks for an interesting update.

  Kitchen foot fault and reaching over the net. Even though the ball landed once on his side of the court it reversed back on to the opposite court making him reach over to play it while it technically wasn't on his side of the net.

  So if the other player hits the ball with so much spin and dropping so close to the net that it returns all by itself is that considered a return? That is definitely not something that one would see with any routine.

  Not often, but I've seen it at least twice. Also on windy days. You must touch the ball even if it bounces back over
