I'm new to bass fishing, so is the light braid better than mono or poly based on weight or strength?
Each type of line has its fit. Its like asking whats better a sports car a minivan a truck or a hybrid? Depends on what you're trying to do. Braid is awesome because it doesn't have any stretch but it will fray if you throw it around rocks with sharp edges. Fluoro works well because its very abrasion resistant pretty clear but it sinks. Mono is great because it floats and has stretch to it. All those things are good or bad depending on what kind of cover or structure you're fishing. Hope that helps and welcome to bass fishing! 90% of the time I cast my spoon and bounce it back or it just depends how I'm getting bit on how deep I let it go. Been doing it for years that way, one of my favorite lures.
Put it on a finesse jig.....
I use lizards all the time
caught 4 lake smallies yesterday with the Yum Hellgrammite's , 2#'s & less, each one lasted 2 fish. not a lot of longevity... but Hey, catching fish beats not catching ! there are 8 baits in a pack. that's 16 fish per pack !! I'm good with that !! Great baits !!

Great Frank...I missed the morning rush and they sold out before I woke up for work. Now I have the Charbroiled and no Mossback Craw. Maybe at the end of the year you guys can offer a complete collection of all 12 baits.
I like them alot. You don't know me but try these lures. It help my people and it help me. If iam wrong hit me up. Take a good chance not a iam not sure chance.
Huge day 4 fan. Sold out again fast. Not everyone can order a fishing bait during the day. Probably nobody just orders 1. That don't leave many guys with a fair chance at getting these baits.
They catch fish I caught not only bass but have caught a catfish with one.

Mushrooms
I love fishing a lizard, especially this time of year. I Texas rig a 8" Zoom lizard. I have been catching a bunch of nice bass the past couple of weeks on junebug and green pumpkin. Two weeks ago I caught a really big bass over 6 lbs.
This is amazing! This is the reason I tell people that they shouldn’t be afraid to use deep diving crank baits in shallow creeks and rivers. If the name “deep diver” intimidates you, think of it as a “quick diving crank” !!

The bass were chewing them yesterday on Table Rock Lake in Missouri. Threw a Zoom green pumpkin with the tail Spike-It Dip-N-Glo Garlic red for years. Recently switched to a Z-Man LizardZ - which looks identical to Zoom but they are indestructible. You cannot wear one out. A Kentucky took it way down the gullet and before I dealt with the 3/0 flippin' hook I pulled the lizardz (which was half swallowed) up and out knowing it would rip. Ran if up the line and after I got the hook out I re-hooked it and it looked and fished like new. Elaztec will not tear but there is zero need to expose your hook. Leave it buried to where it's completely weedless however when one bites it that hook point will come shooting out like "where's the party!" Forgot to add I was free rigging it but Texas rig does well too. That weightless slow drift effect you say you like is also achieved with a free rig.
So don't replace them and show us how 🙄
