That probably takes a CDL unfortunately.
Absolutely, you will need a CDL. If you're doing tree work, operating without one means relying on smaller trucks and trailers, which is very inefficient and can significantly reduce your profit margins. With a CDL, you can utilize larger equipment, allowing us to complete jobs more efficiently. We charge more but finish the job in half the time compared to our competition which clients appreciate.
Awesome video. Needed that info.
Good to hear she's okay. However, a near death experience has absolutely nothing to do with being born again. Very, VERY, important not to mess this up, one's soul depends on whether they get saved by the Lord Jesus Christ, and become a child of God through faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:26, KJB). Nothing to do with surviving a near death experience. One could survive a near death experience and later die and still go to hell. To be born again is spiritual, God does the work from inside the man and it happens at the point when one puts their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ and His finished work on Calvary's cross to save them. When the lost sinner puts his faith on Christ's death, burial, and RESURRECTION (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, KJB), to save them from hell, that is the point when the Lord seals the believer with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13, KJB) and then that man is born again. These are facts, and your soul's place depends on what you do with Christ - if you chose to receive Him (as a substitution, He died in your place, and He being sinless, God manifest in the flesh [1 Timothy 3:16, KJB], rose again), then you will be saved (see Romans 10 in the King James Bible), born again. If you chose to reject Him, then you will have no payment for your own sins, and you will make that yourself (which is eternal) in hell and the lake of fire (Revelation 20:15, KJB).
some oil is better than ZERO oil!
Great video! Wish there were close-ups of what you're doing up to top, though. I always feel like I'm tripping over myself and extremely inefficient when working down the trunk.
Brother when I reviewed the footage afterwards I was like wtf the best part was not covered. Those were some big branches gopro never does justice to the size of it.
@@KennysTreeRemoval that's what she said
8:15 You cut your hinge completely out every time on the way down man! The hinge is the only thing that keeps the tree from falling over backwards on you and falling down your side of the tree. Or it don't matter as much on those skinny light pine tops?
I sure did, it didn’t really matter that fence was coming off and the two neighbors were going to be stalling new fence and sharing the expenses on that end.
@KennysTreeRemoval Ten four you got it down for sure. How would you get down a big pecan with 40 ft limbs out over a house laying over too flat to climb? Some are 15 degrees from strait up, some are 45 degrees and some 15 degrees from being flat.
A crane if access is available
@@KennysTreeRemoval I can get one in there. I bet they are pricey!
What year is this e42?
2021
I am considering buying this machine used with 750 hours.
This may sound a straight question but why do your men cover there faces
No specific reason
I've seen another company do that. Maybe it keeps them from breathing sawdust? I've never had a problem without doing that.
Any tree that has electric lines running around it, the customer needs to call their electric company. Can’t believe you didn’t mention that
A tree can have eletric lines around it, doesn’t matter, some areas you can’t turn power off due to the location it will inconvenience too many residents. Also waiting for them to do something on time is a nightmare in our srea logistics wise.
Now that’s how you do it!👍🏻
what SPIKES do you recommend for palm HYBRID SPIKES or POLE SPIKES on Buckingham
Pole
The comments for the win.
6:10 is funny. I could pick up 3.5 inch diameter logs by hand. I know what you mean though.
If it's under 75 hp it doesn't need DEF.
Amazing machine! Hope to own one myself one day😄👍🏻
You will brother 🤙
You didn’t mention Workers Comp insurance so I’m assuming you don’t have any. I am in the Durham area and need ALOT of tree work done. Sounds like a big red flag to not mention that
Assumptions indeed Elizabeth. We do carry workers comp and we are one of the few companies in our area that actually do. The only reason I didn’t mention it in this video it’s because not having workers comp necessarily should stop you from hiring a company. A company can run on 1099 contractors not requiring workers comp, also for your reference in the state of NC it is not required to have workers comp if your company has 2 or less employees. This video was long enough and that would’ve opened a whole other topic. We also don’t service Durham and know plenty of companies who do with no workers comp only on 1099 or none in that area so be very careful who you decide to hire for all the tree work you supposedly need done.
Oh,running which was already vintage at the time, old gear driven homelite 66s with no mufflers. I bought a couple new huskies one time, I think a 55 and a 2100 old guy said, you don't need all that, you're just showboating. Cutting darlington oaks in town over 4feet across.
You have some nice equipment many years ago I used to work with a guy taking down tree's, you should have seen the junk we had. Couple homemade triaxle, trailers, that we would haul short wood 5feet long, tools and saws on a old rescue squad truck 😂, had a vintage lineman truck with winch and boom in back, to lift large logs or stand tree's up after hurricanes, no brakes, I had to tow line truck to job with my 84 square body truck. When we used it, a ancient clapped out bucket truck. We looked like the Beverly hillbillies coming through town. Those were the days. SC here.
🤣🇺🇸🤙
I wished you were my uncle so I could always learn new things to operate.
Nice work! Like always
I have to make another comment. I love videos that are all doing without endless talking. Fantastic.
Nice work. I just bought an Echo after an old Sthil I inherited, love it so far. What do you prefer?
Hey Kenny. I’m looking to start up a stump grinding business here in sc. looking at a Vermeer 362. Any advice you have?
Solid machine to start with it. As soon as can get your hands on something with 70 plus HP do it.
@@KennysTreeRemoval that is our future plans. This machine will I believe serve us well I just had the demo and it runs beautifully
@@KennysTreeRemoval I’m looking to call some tree companies to see if they do not have a grinder and to offer them services with my machine. I’m just afraid to get the “ yes we need one” and over extend my self and the machine.
Wood chippers are so satisfying to use. .. .. . But maybe not when it's your day job .. .only when rented
Great informatiom to the beginners, awesome video brother.
Get it boo! 💜💜💜
Badass set up you have Kenny 🦾🦾
It would take a lot of loads and years of work to break even on your equipment. Trucks and trailers cost a lot, not to mention maintenance. With the tree service, at least you are getting paid to cut them down, but logging itself is not worth the money.
Awesome job brother
Great video and very informative. What do you do with all the leftover wood in your yard sir?

thank you .I am starting a new business soon and will be listening.
Thanks for the informative videos. Definitely like this style. Just curious what kind of diamond blade you use for your angle grinder? I've used the green wheel on my bench grinder...but the quick touch up with a battery angle grinder is a fantastic tip. Thanks Kenny
Thank you! I’ve added the links in the descriprion for grinder and wheel I use. Thank you for watching and I’m glad you found the video informative.
Thanks for the great tips Kenny! Can you give us a video on where to purchase used equipment (stump grinders) and things to look out for when doing so?
You’re welcome! Yup i got you.
Thanks for providing value and showing that it’s OK to drop something and switch it up while owning it upfront
Ladders + trees= VIDEOS!
Found the Buckingham steel online at WesSpur. They come with an option between regular and narrow pads. Maybe a stupid question, but how exactly do those differ from each other?
If you are the skinny legs side go with narrow pads, otherwise get regular pads.
How much extra is it to get the tree cut without heavy equipment?
Extra to remove? A lot more specially if it is a big tree. If you are talking about cutting down without a equipment if not needed, much cheaper since no extra trucks/trailers etc will be needed for equipment
You really wouldn't like me. I bought a used edger from a neighbor for $50. Then on ebay I bought a molding and trim cutter for a table saw. It has 3 arms that blades with a profile mount to. The head came with 5 sets of blades. It's a craftsman brand and I paid $15. for it. I bolted the cutter head to the edger and built myself a stump grinder. I ground down 4 stumps at my dads house and 3 at my house. The last and biggest was a 32" pine tree stump. Yes it took a lot of hours and over a several day period. I'd grind away for awhile and quit. When I was done with the big one I covered it with dirt and threw some sod on it. There were also several large roots I cut down below the surface. It was fun, and I'm happy I spent $65.
Thank you! Very good vid and well presented

I have never paid more than $100 per stump for 30 inch stumps in Missouri. The last time was 3 years ago and that was 5 stumps for $450 (cash).
A lot has changed in the past 3 years. Try getting a quote for a single stump now for $100. Additionally, you will always get a better deal the more stumps done at once, as mentioned in the video.
Thanks Kenny. Appreciate you taking the time to make this.

Hello everyone!
Thats a beast of a chipper
All the 194 needs is a muffler mod and timing advance.... really opens them up bigtime....
That's a great book sitting there next to you! The Fundamentals of General Tree Work is a great source of info or for reference. Good info in this video, I was curious about how to bid jobs and you brought some real insight to the topic so thanks for that!
Do you recommend a different chain for dead trees versus live tree removals
