This song is about 'Sogyeok-dong case'. At that time, the 'National Army Security Command' was located in Sogyeok-dong, where college students who resisted the dictatorship of Chun Doo-hwan were forcibly recruited for mental education. It was named as a greening project because it changed the red water in college students' heads to blue water. (Red water: It refers to the idea of communism or socialism, and in the military dictatorship at the time, everyone who was against them was driven to pro-North Korea, left wing and pinko.) In this secret operation of the military dictatorship, more than 1,100 college students were brought to the National Army Security Command, and torture was carried out under the name of education. As a result, 6 college students were killed, which is called the previously mentioned 'Sogyeok-dong case'. I hope my explanation will be helpful to you. I think it will be easy to understand because you have enough background knowledge of modern and contemporary history in Korea. Your review of 'sweet-bitter' is an accurate expression. That's what I heard of this song. Thank you for the good content.

Akina was so young back then for her age when she debuted, but her charisma when she performed is like she was not a like new artist when debuting. when she started singing her eyes and voice made it like she was gazing into your soul.

Fantasy is my favorite Akina album of hers tooo!! I’ve found my people lol! It is when her vocals started showing for uniqueness and the nostalgic 80s music was so catchy to me I started learning every song. I purchased the vinyl 10 years ago and now I have most of her albums on vinyl. 🩷 Fushigi is my second favorite, another entity entirely compared to 1983

Hello, I think I've missed it, but I saw a lot of Japanese fans call her Utahime, is it because of the name of her album so it also became her nickname? or is there another reason? I'd be really thankful if you answer this because I'm just starting to get into her and her music.

I lived in Japan in 2011-2012 and one of the few times i went to karaoke with other highschool students, they made me sing this song. It's been a special song to me forever since. Nobody else knows it. If i went to tokyo and I sang it in Karaoke, i would make thousands of japanese people go eeeeeee~. But in Europe, nobody gets it. It's a special kind of meaningful little thing between and people that exist in my memory. Nobody else will get it, unless I move to the otherside of the planet, even then it would only get a giggle. It's the perfect example of something idiotically small that carries a lot of meaning.

Your expression perfect to explain what Akina Nakamori is! Thank you so much for your compliments to her hit songs, while I am afraid that recently she wouldn’t appear in public to perform her new version of Kita Wing. One thing I would like to inform a strange/funny lady with her short hair is named Naoko Ken, who is also a very famous singer, her songs hit was Kamime wa Kamime ( means seagull is seagul, never be able to become peacocks nor spallows. Seagull feels solitude whenever she fly over the ocean, so she understand her fate that she can’t be a peacock nor shallow as she understood her hope is too high. Pls find her name and listen her singing with a low voice, but very calm one. Sincerely yours, Takashi Hoizumi

It's ironic that the backing band's name is " Tokyo Tour" . Do young people living in the French countryside also want to go to Paris , just like Ikuzo Yoshi . By the way , last year I watched the French movie " Les cinq diables " , which is set in the French countryside . That movie featured Bonnie Tyler's " Total Eclipse of the Heart " , of course instead of Mr. Yoshi's song .

I'm a Hiroko Yakushimaru (薬師丸ひろ子) fan and have her CD and photo book . I haven't been to her concert yet , but I'd like to go someday . Please note that viewers of this video wake up at 1:00:45 . Enjoy what happens . Everyone except Hiroko and two children who appear in this scene were ordinary people . After filming this scene , Hiroko cried out of embarrassment .
