I upgrade to 60hp motor
I bought the 2023 model. After working through numerous factory problems, I believe it is all worked out now. (Praying so at least.) I replaced the Maxxum trolling motor with a Lowrance Ghost, and love it! My drink cooler is not insulated, and not really sure if they were in 2017 as he says in the video. This is one of the major complaints I've heard on this boat, maybe Tracker will eventually address that. I plan on insulating mine myself soon. Doesn't look to be that difficult. Overall, I believe it will be a great boat, and hopefully, no more headaches.

Let me tell yall. I bought the 190txpro tournament edition. With 115 xs pro. 2022 model. Had it 1 year 3 months. 2 weeks after i bought it. Wheel berings came out of it. Yall had a recall. My wheels were so close to falling off. I was scared to even pull to dealer. 4 months later ignition switch went out was stranded 4 miles up the river. Now im in the shop again the ecu has gone out. I got stranded again. Not a tracker problem. Its on mercury. But do yall have 4 year olds putting in the carpet?? The quality of stuff like this is ridiculous when i paid 34000 for it. I wish i hadn't rushed into it. I will never buy another one. Im trading in mine for a Skeeter. Yall need to do better on quality!! Send me some carpet decals to hold the carpet down if yall wanna make me happy. DO BETTER GUYS!!!
Spend a little more and get the Ranger 198P. Both made my White River Marine but the Ranger offers a lot more.

Thank you Mr. Dance for pointing out what a great warranty tracker has. However You forgot to mention that people who purchase a Tracker are going to need every bit of that warranty.

The storage on this boat is horrendous what the hell. The live well being up front is a deal breaker as well.
I own this boat and it has two live wells one in Front and one in the rear and plenty of storage for a 16ft boat

12V troll motor for a 19+ foot boat?
Needs a 24v, 12v is way too small for that boat.
You can get an upgrade to a 24 volt. You can also upgrade the cheap little Lowrance units to Helix 9s, 10s, or Garmin units of your choice. My biggest issue is that cheap little aluminum box they call a cooler, which won't hold ice for over 2 hours in our Georgia heat.

Don't do it........... I ordered a Tracker 1654 sc over 2 months ago and paid cash. Salesman promised it would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. BULLS**T. I called to find out a possible delivery date and got a smartass manager on the phone that didn't know s**t and wasn't too keen to find out. This was the cabelas store in fort mill SC. I thought that since it was a cabelas / basspro dealer the salesmen would be somewhat honest...........Don't be fooled. My salesman quit, the manager is aloof and nobody gives a damn if I get my boat or not. BIG MISTAKE paying in advance. If you shop here and it ain't on their lot.....LEAVE !!!

It would mean starting over elsewhere and I would love to get a Hook in the water by CHRISTMAS. Today I found out my boat is not even in production.......Oh Well, Happy New Year !!!

If Bill Dance gives them a thumbs up, I can’t kick them. A lot of people don’t like them and think they aren’t any good because they have some wood in them and they are less expensive than other boats, but wood is a lot’s cheaper cheaper to replace than other things. If I had a dollar for every Tracker boat that has had the wood replaced and made to look new again, I would have a lot of money.

I retired in 2021 . I ordered my 16 ft vee guide with the 50 merc. It's solid, takes ruff water great. And does everything I want. It was 2500 cheaper than the nearest competitor.

How does this model handle choppy water?
I noticed The boat is towing a tube. I was under the impression that tubes were not to be towed with this boat, only for water ski. Has thins changed? Only asking because I would buy a tube immediately if I can.
Hi, JC. The owner's manual cautions against towing another boat, not a tube. Proper precautionary measures should be taken when performing water sports with this boat.
I was looking at one but it seems to rock side to side to easy plus the wind probably blows off a brush pile easily . I guess because it's a light boat. I could be wrong.
