What was your route from Germany to Namibia?
Hey! Here a post we did a while ago, you can see the route until Botswana/Namibia. kzread.infoUgkxzK6fQLQbmp7dFgE81Xx8cSaZGEXBeUC7?si=PzuvYxWucuLfpQ58
@@Thebluelandy Thank you. We are trying to figure out how to get our Nissan X-Trail to Europe.

I would prefer to see the bottom belayer wearing a safety helmet. 👷👷♀️👷♂️ Your journeys are real Land Rover style. 👍🏻🙏🦘
It's always better to wear a helmet, yes! We try to show it how it really unfolds 🤗
Hola....
@@Thebluelandy 👍🙂🙏🙏🙏
So true about how the small thinks may decide your travel plans in so many ways . That why I like your videos so much you show it as it is heat , cold , rain & snow , dust and muddy tracks . But you have the great blue landy to get you there 😁. So looking forward to seeing more of your fantastic adventure to come . Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) . :) 🍻🍻🍻👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😁😁😁😂🧗🏻
One doesn't consider it when planning the trip, because it's impossible to get to the details beforehand. And that's why we also always recommend people to don't overplan such a trip, and to go with the flow. We try to show how it is as much as possible, so people can have a better idea of reality and don't idealise sich a trip. Thank you Steve! Always appreciate your feedback! 🤗
@@Thebluelandy ..👍🏼😁🍻
@ 24:44, your meal looks delicious as well as beautiful.
It was really delicious dinner 😋😋😋
Lots of varied countryside in that leg of the journey.
Yes! Every 100km the landscape changed !
Write your own journey i like that
Yes, it is crucial to remember this and avoid the trap of blindly following the dreams of others! 😎
Chile Is a very nice country, specially the south. Atacama has a unique beauty too. Bolivian Altiplano is a mind blower and the Uyuni really unique. Check the Peruvian incredible dunes.
Chile is very diverse and both environment and weather can change drastically in some of the regions. But the privatization of the country left us a bittersweet feeling ☹️
ola meus amigos estamos juntos nesta jornada, VIVA A VIDA abraço
Abraços de nossa parte!
Episode number 100 is approaching ! Looking forward to all episodes in between 👍🏻
So much to happen still at this point, we had no clue...
This must have filmed awhile ago, as it’s winter in Chile now.
Yes! This was end of January 2024 ✌️
Only respect for the way you share us your real intensions for this trip: it has nothing to do with showing off, ultimate numbers or postcard pictures. You show us how you lived this as you went on, in all honesty. And it's great. Luckily I only started to follow you halfway Africa, so there is still a lot for me to discover. Thanks.
We aim to be as transparent as possible and share what a long-term trip truly feels like. While it has been one of the best decisions we've made, it isn't without its challenges, and it may not align with the idealized version of nomadic life that others might imagine... Thank you for your feedback 🤗🤗
Another great video well done must be hard dealing with that heat 👍
Thank you! It was tough, specially in the back of the Landy gets really hot and after hours in those conditions the body suffers so much!
As always. I enjoyed the video
Thank you for your feedback!
Is vehicle insurance compulsory there?
Yes, it is! We got Mercosur all the way to Peru. 🙌
@@Thebluelandy Thanks for the tip. I'll look into it. Your trip has been made much easier by having Spanish speakers in the crew. I'll be doing much the same trip as you but I don't have this advantage. I can speak Portuguese but that's of limited use in most of the continent. Keep up the excellent content.
Super. good traveling!see ya~
Thank you!! See you 😎
Another great episode guys
Thank you so much! Working on the next one right now ✌️😁
Guten Morgen Argentina, another amazing view of videography..... por tres valientes

Might have said something wrong there. The Zambezi starts in Zambia, not Congo.
Oh yeah you are right sorry for that.
It's a peaceful farm stay for relax and inspire something you never think of in your life. Maybe a good sense and good view of it in your future. hahahaaa.....Good luck.
It was really an inspiration for us. It showed us how a life closer to nature could be something for us. I guess also the trip itself changed our mind regarding this, but the stay in the farm showed us that even staying in one place we can experience this freedom and peace ✌️
It's amazing view of white snow mountains..... I really wish I could be there, Hahahaa...
It was amazing and beautiful, but we have also to admit our setup is not the best to have this conditions for longer periods
Kasten is really crazy....hahahahaaa
I think some of it is in the family 😅
it's not necessary to keep the right lane all the time, you can drive it on the middle/center of the road when there is no other cars. These remote places are no car at all. Off course if you have a winch will cut down lots of time for the recovery the car. It's important you have the winch. Drive safe and good luck, Bro....
Hey!! We were driving on the right because it allowed us to have half the car out of the snow. It was at this part where there was no grass anymore. But we thought sticking to the right was better to avoid getting tilted too much...
Beautiful as ever
Thank you
You have a better video than the National Geographic...... what amazing journey and make me keep watching all your videos.
Wow thank you for those nice words! We’re glad you enjoy the videos
oil change every 10 -15,000km in my 90 TD5 which I had from new and sold at 300 000km, still see it driven locally with second owner, looking for some solitude this later month when we take our 110 to Aveyron
Hey Richard thanks for the clarification, indeed we dropped back to 10-12k km for rough terrain might up it to 15k in Europe. We also reached 310k km just recently
How'd you manage getting money in Iran? ATM's don't work for westerners right?
Hey, no ATMs don’t work and the exchange rates anywhay would be ridiculous. You have the bring cash Euro or USD and change money on the streets.
I can imagine editing and stitching video content together, is challenging, time wise.? Writing a blog daily, is tough enough. Think of it as an investment in your future dotage...:) It's been a great journey but at some point it has to come to an end. Thanks for the tips and memories.☺
It is really time consuming and finding a good balance between enjoying the moment and taking care of the videos is not always possible. But yes, these videos will be a reminder of the crazy adventures we once had!
I enjoyed the video. Brings back memories
Hey Joanne, thank you for watching. Glad you enjoy it
Beautiful as ever, the colour of that lake reminds me of moraine lake in Canada 🇨🇦. Happy Christmas and safe travels.
It's the most intense turquoise I've ever laid eyes on!!
Enjoyed the video. I miss this sort of adventure
Thank you! It’s never to late to go on an adventure 😉
Thanks for this wonderful insight of farmlife in Namibia! One can feel the calmness and greatness of this country together with the heritage of bygone times - for a series owner like I am a really awesome footage! Must be a wonderful life there! Greetings from Austria, Flo
Hey Flo, Thank you for watching and the kind words! It is a wonderful place! And I love those series cars! Keeping my eyes open for my chance to get one for myself

solution for seat inside get memory foam cushions
For us is my more about the straightness of the bench. A tilted back rest would be better and a deeper sitting cushion. But space is limited and we worked with what we have 🤷♀️
put roll mat and padding over fridge when sleeping down lol
Yeah, that would solve it, but for the times we use it we are just lazy to do more. Haha 😜
@@Thebluelandy what do you think is there most reliable Land Rover engine ?
Good question, I have only had the TD5 therefore I can’t really talk about the others. I’m pretty happy with the TD5. Mine only really struggles with the belt drive. And that’s manageable if you bring 3 bearings…
As always epic content overlanding next level takecare
Thank you so much!!
Very nice of you to fix the jeep
kolmanskop the place filming fallout
We didn't visit the place but I bet it's perfect for such series!
Really great setup, just view, my suggestion (before watching your other video, next thing i will do soon) are more electrical spare like: wire , connector, swtitch (!!!), crimper, kumpercable/booster, some relay and finally solenoid starter(!)... and I hgave spare vise can mount on trailer hitch
Hey, thank you for your suggestions! I got some wire some Wago connectors, and crimp connectors, and a soldering iron, aswell as a multi meter and fuses. That was more in the section spare parts than tool. But fair pint. The magnet switch was rebuild before the trip and I had to overhaul it in Argentina (either ep 72 or 73). I do not bring a crimper a Normal pair of pliers do the job it's not to code but but it works long enough to get back to civilization. 😉
How amazing and a little bit dangerous ;-)
You mean the climbing falls? 😅 Mine was a planned fall, but bad executed from my part. Kai's was a coincidence that there was a sharp stake exactly there... He was lucky he didn't fall more...
@@Thebluelandy Oh yes, you are really lucky ones, even the path for the landy in the river.
Very interesting
Thank you for the feedback!!
Working on the Landy, haircut for the dog, surfing. Multitalented.
Kai is multitalented! In this case the dog was the happiest with his skills 😜
The trees in that "ancient forest" were mostly araucarias. The biggest of them may be more than 1000 years old...
Yes!! Check episode 77, we show them ❤️
Loving your content 👍
Thank you so much!! 🙌
