Range Rover are the worst car you can buy. From the worst dealership customer service to the poor build quality and reliability. List is endless. Gave the brand a chance and unfortunately brought 3 different models over last 10 or so years. Never again. Don’t be fooled in the misleading ads etc these vehicles are a nightmare to own.

It has been dead for a few years now. Needs a hard reset. Three short races, gimmick of reverse grid cheapening victory, cars all look similar, oversponsored, lack of personality, no rivalry, its a very tired series. Needs a hard reset to more basic road equivalent cars like they did in the late 80s which brought on the golden era. Don't feel they are even trying. ITV coverage doesn't help. No need to show all the support races. Packaged high quality highlights with better camera work would improve. Also commentary team is a shadow of previous.

Good cars have the wheels on the corners. This car has too much hang over on the rear. Obviously not built on an EV platform from the ground up.

I went to my first BTCC race at Snetterton last week, I had a great time, I don't really enjoy racing on TV but in person it was a great day for the price. I haven't watched in years so had no idea what to expect, but the races were interesting the track commentary helped me follow along and everyone there was really nice so i had a great day. Looking forward to going again

I have the car for an year now and you got 3 things wrong: 1. The battery % and the EV range are non linear. When you have the battery at 100% with AC off it shows range of 70km and in city driving in EV only I have seen reaching 72km range when the battery drops to 12-17% and range says 0km. Usual EV range 60-65km in city. At the moment you start the AC the EV range drops with about 8%. AC cooling mode is purely electric, so after that depends how long you run AC, compared with how long the car actually moves. 2. You cannot deplete the battery to 0% as the car always starts in EV mode and then the gasoline engine kicks in by auto-rotation. 3. When you go for a long distance and you want to keep let say 20km of EV range remaining at your destination, you run first on auto mode and when you see the desired EV range number you switch to HEV mode, then it will maintain the EV range with +/- few km. 4. There is another unusual logic in the algorithm. If you start at EV mode with 100% battery and you drive only downhill, the gasoline engine will start for the first 1km, even if the AC is on cooling mode and there is no need for ICE heat for cabin. It appears trying to recharge the 12V battery a bit. If you slow down to near 0 and continue downhill after you can see an awkward diagram on the power management screen, indicating the wheels power the engine, while ICE is stopped and there is no power going out of the main battery. I believe this is the moment the wheels turning the 12V alternator through the gearbox and the ICE to charge the 12V battery, however the 12V system is not displaying on the power management screen. Another important feature for the EV & PHEV cars is that noone realy needs that 0-100 km/h kick start, however you need good acceleration in the range 70-120 km/h range when you need to overtake and this car is the best in that speed range from anything I have driven before.

Noone talks about the tyres.. everything has these stupid great big tyres, usually alloys.. hit a pothole and you've got thousands of pounds in damages.. trying to get steel rims with high tyre walls is nigh on impossible. Who does off road in alloys?? It's like everyones forgotten the purpose of a 4x4.

I love the golf r but think the mk 7.5 and mk 8 both lack character. mk7 looks the best before they face lifted it and ruined its look (like females do) plus not a fan of any lcd dashboard as they fail so easily, spend have my time at work fixing these screens as they stop working for seemily no reason plus the lcd radio screen on the 7.5 is about as responsive as italy in the world war.

when BTCC came to the fore in the super touring days Murrey Walker said to the BBC that showing races live would be a major mistake, they did not listen to him, now the whole meeting is shown live so no need to go to the circuits to see the support races and without the highlights the average man on the streets won't watch hours of unedited coverage

In the quest for parity, The cars are basically the same as each other now, same front and rear subframes, suspension, brakes, transmission, most cars seem to use the toca engine,so they all sound the same, no 5 pots and v6s any more! Also the hybrid is a waste of space. The same could be achieved with overboost rather than trying to be 'green' and lugging around batteries for an extra 40bbhp or whatever it is this year. It barely seems to make any difference to the racing Still enjoy the btcc, and like a lot of the drivers, it's jus the rule set. Understand why all the spec parts, the 90s heyday was criminally expensive,

Would btcc be more popular if they ran TCR regulation like the rest of the world. So cars from all round the world can race. Like back in early super toureres and they then had a few "world " races and "euro" races where drivers can use the car they race. But the BTCC is the only championship that run the NGTC regulations. Also another point has the intrsr in "cars " ingeneral died off slightly. Less modified cars on the road etc so less people intrested.

just personally speaking I think it's probably more popular right now than its been in the last 20 years. every year I go to the track the crowds are noticeably bigger, seems like every 3 or so years they sign a new long deal with ITV, more and more people I know who aren't even racing fans have been talking about watching it. it will never be as big as it was in the 90s just because they were throwing F1 money at it (which was unsustainable). it's a shame because what everyone wants is big teams and big international names coming over and racing, but it's just not like that anymore. the collapse of tcr and dtm is disappointing, especially because touring cars as a concept seems to be fading away for more gt style racing. I do think the BTCC is very much alive and well, but the next couple years are very important to get right. the impression is that teams are leaving and the cars are too expensive.. the truth is a lot of the teams that have left were either already struggling or relied on manufacture backing (like dynamics with honda). it's just part of the cycle, but they have to make sure it doesn't keep happening. (just my opinion) I've been enjoying it more over the last 5 years and I think the last 3 or so seasons have only gotten better.

I have a 2024 Kia Sportage PHEV Xline Prestige in the US. 2 months in and I average 95% of my driving is on EV mode and 5% HEV. On EV only, I get around 40-42 miles range per 85% battery usage in daily suburban driving 35mph to 40mph speed limit (down to 15% car will switch to HEV). I always drive about 5 mph over the speed limit. Kia has it at 34 miles range on EV, but I'm averaging 6-8 miles range above. So I would guess the 34 miles range is for drivers with a heavy foot. My final verdict is EV range is above the advertise 34 miles range spec.
