    This looks like a great alternative to spray guns, been researching for an hour and was wondering, can you use Single stage paint in this system with hardener and reducer? I'm doing a bodykit, small pieces and this would be a game changer this summer for me lol.

  • @overkoat

    @@garagenextdoor807 definitely! The main thing to do is make sure you clean the unit as soon as you’re finished. If you don’t, the hardener will end up solidifying the paint inside and render the power system useless for the next Job

    Great Vid.! This is probably a dumb question however I am rookie as they come to painting…is this product using the same solvents as a rattle can spray paint.? Will it be oil based paint once sprayed.? Or is this simply compressed air? I just dont want to ruin my paint.. im using a water base paint…

  • @overkoat
    @overkoatАй бұрын

    Not a dumb question at all! The Preval sprayer uses an eco-friendly propellant and can be used with a variety of solvents, including: Water, Acetone, Mineral spirits, Lacquer thinner, and 2K solvents. The Preval sprayer can be used with many liquids, including paint, adhesive, gel coats, and PVA. It can spray water-based, latex-based, and oil-based paints, as well as acrylics, alkyds, clear coats, enamels, epoxys, lacquers, leather dyes, polyurethanes, primers, rust inhibitors, stains, varnishes, and waterproofers

    I've had a set of Ksports that looks just like this on my car for 12 years. They've seen the track, been put through the paces and still ticking. Aluminum is Aluminum. All manufactures usually paint over the bolts, and the ones that don't have powdercoat come off so you can change you're brake pads from the top without taking the whole caliper off. I'd say maybe get some safety wire, but otherwise, enjoy em!

    There is nothing wrong with those brakes, and assuming they aren't out of spec, those will stop your car very fast! Those are opppossed piston commercial brakes used on towing winches, cars, trucks and similar. The cross-over brake lines are to allow you to plumb the lines in the most convient method!The squiggly milled rotors keep the pads from glazing. Cross-drilling was never about cooling, but squiggly milling with an end mill does the same thing. If the rotors are semi-floating or full-floating as they apppear to be, that allows the rotors to expand and contract without warpage!
