Its a neoprene scuba diving boot with a side zipper made by Mares. If you have a chance to get to a store that stocks them that would be best as you want the ones with the thickest sole, that coral and sharp lava flow rock out there is EVIL! They also won't save you from those thorns on the ground.

I wish I was still there! I e not fished it before but inside Jolly Harbour has some big old tarpon, you might be able to get some small fish there too. I have a friend there who does guided days but not sure if your light set up would work, look up Captain Nick Antigua fly fishing.

I took the kids to check out the St Croix River, after church today. It sounded like a rolling thunderstorm with the cracking/popping, and the lazor sounds!!! Only about 5 inches left, on February 4th!!! 48 high today and low 50s the rest of the week!!! You guys make me jelly!!! Thanks for posting!!! Love this song too!!!

late May here can still be on the ice or pretty much ice out period and they are where they were all winter and feeding hard. I struggle when they start to stage for the spawn, but it’s a short period of about a week and a half at most before they start to show in spawning areas.

Sitting here in Ioway, it comes as a kind of a surprise to see that much ice up north, don't know why I should be surprised, though. We just had our first deep snow yesterday, local lakes/ponds were mostly still open/thin ice layer. Nice crappie, 20 deep?

We only just reached 12” here which is nuts for this time of year, it snowed for the first time this year last night, Imran snow with more than half an inch accumulation, this morning was the first time I had the shovel out, also unheard of here.

Hey Bill! Happy New Year! I just feel like throwing back down the hole I intend to use again might spook any other willing customers, more apt to do it with pike when fishing walleye but it’s just a habit now, not sure if it makes a difference but don’t think it harms anything….?
