Great question, Sharon. Every home is governed by zoning laws, so no home owner has complete autonomy with their home. In SWFL, the vast majority of luxury homes are located in HOA communities, where fees can be as high as $800/month. When you can find a home that's only $500/year, that's a big win! That home is absolutely gorgeous. The kitchen and lounge area is bigger that the WHOLE of my downstairs living area. Which comprises of the lounge kitchen hallway downstairs toilet. This of course is in the UK. I've got to win that lottery and come over to live in Sarasota Florida.

Remember, people are all different with different capabilities. What's not affordable for some is easily affordable for others. Hello..nice home. Curious to know how tall you are to give me a better understanding of certain door and ceiling heights? A couple of them appeared low...unless I understand you are a certain height. Thanks.
Ok. It was a secret until now, but I'm 6'1" tall. Given that, the doors are probably 7' in height. The ceiling height varies from room to room. The vaulted ceiling in several rooms add a lot of space. Hope this helps!

These are not luxury houses. They are poor man houses at bloated prices by realtors

Great observation! As I stated, the price doesn’t include the lot, pool, and upgrades. As shown, that model home is just at $1M. When it’s actually time for the builder to sell the models, it will definitely be priced above its current price. Thanks for your question?

Amazing what is considered "luxury" nowadays. Yes it is nice, but not luxury and not worth 1.1 million, and 3000 for HOA, you can keep it.
