  my farrier said to treat my horses chipped hoof (not cracked or split) with iodine. Is this what he is referring to? or how would you go about using this treatment on the front bottom of the hoof?

  I injected Adequan tonight and i saw a lump form as I was injecting it. I did not stop because I pulled back and knew i wasn't in a vein and quite honestly, my horse is 3 and I didn't want to poke him again. I waited around for a while and within 10 minutes the lump shrunk quite a bit. My question is: Did my horse get his dose of Adequan even through the injection was subcutaneous instead of IM?   Herpes is a sexually transmitted virus that primarily infects the mouth and the genitals. It is transmitted by bodily fluids - penetration isn’t required for transmission, oral-oral or oral-genital contact will suffice.I WAS ONCE HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS patient, I have HSVI genitally and I'm one of the rare cases where I was infected by sexual contact. The person who infected me was unaware that he had it, and he tested negative on a blood test (he probably got it from his ex and never had an outbreak at time been. I had HSVI (they did a culture of the fluid from the sores i had during my initial outbreak). So it is possible to contract HSVI by asymptomatic asexual contact, so please people talk about this and prevent anyone else from getting it, I was kind of going through something. Four years ago my boyfriend and I both had an OB and when I got the blood work done it came back negative. We were happy in the relationship so I learned to accept it and never really bothered to get tested again. When we broke up I had to conduct all possible test before I could move on. I decided to get tested again. I came back positive for both HSV-1 and HSV-2 (got the news!) which almost got me frustrated. My ex on the other hand has had a few small outbreaks and came back positive for HSV-1.   irrespective of receiving daily oral or future injectable depot therapies, these require health care visits for medication and monitoring of safety and response.
