everyone siding with jb just because of who he is. jb sat back and took his time getting back to the center. he was getting very pressed just because messenbrink was wrestling a little after the whistle. all of the pushing and getting in his face was unnecessary

Nick is a amazing wrestler but to me he has way to much personal stuff going on, that’s not normal 3 college teams in your career, he goes to the best college team ever assembled and he transfers out um ok? He’s become to unreliable and I think it shows in his wrestling, no coach has had the time it takes to really develop what he needs to get to that next level, again he’s amazing but when he’s wrestling other amazing wrestlers he just can’t or hasn’t been able to make that jump, and I think he is wrestling or training at cal poly not to take from cal poly but who the heck is at cal poly that can help nick advance his wrestling,

I am a Hawkeye and I don't begrudge Gilman for moving to PA. I will always like the classy Thomas, and I will always enjoy watching him wrestle. He trains hard as nails, nobody can buy that kind of stamina. He wrestles every second of his matches, and keeps it classy.

The singlet was pulled in another video you can see it that is why Zahid's did not challenge Right call pulling on the singlet with a 8 seconds left would favor Zahid Ref great call!

Is Quincy Monday somewhat younger than Mitchell Messenbrink? I think Quincy is at a disadvantage due to length of his legs compared with length of rest of his body. If so, this makes him vulnerable to single and double leg takedowns. He protects his legs by dropping to his knees, then his head and arms are attacked. Messenbrink was able to front headlock and then go behind for a takedown and also he was able to get an angle of attack and get several single leg tackles started. Monday was able to stop at least one of those single legs with a powerful whizzer to end in a stalemate Quincy needs to change his style and wrestle takedowns from his feet and not from his knees When I see a wrestler on both knees, with his head on the mat, arms out stretched reaching for a leg tackle… I shake my head. Generally this is a losing position I know I know, some great wrestling champions get in these positions all the time, sometimes winning a takedown and sometimes getting a stalemate-restart on feet I’m in my seventies, but Quincy could beat me when I was in my prime. Still, I’ve succeeded at coaching, and I think Quincy should wrestle in a better stance, possibly emulating styles of wrestlers who are usually taller than their opponents. I had a saying “Don’t go boink” I’d watch films of dual meets with sound cut off When a wrestler shot a takedown (leg tackle, often with no effective setup) He would end up hitting his knees to mat, head down, and arms extended, but hands empty I would make my own sound effect, when his knees hit the mat I’d say “Boink” Thank you for showing great wrestling videos Two tough wrestlers, that I could never beat in a million years Good luck and thank you

He won 7 golds and is already the 🐐 of USA wrestling, so you might be right. He has a family and to wrestle at this level, it requires an enormous amount of time and commitment.

Valencia should have won this match, but I wonder if he could have beaten DT. With Taylor out and Yazdani having has a surgery, seems like 86kg is wide open. I don't see Brooks dominating like DT did.
