  Guy checking laser screed is set at right height at the start isn’t even holding the laser height stick plumb, he tells the operator 2 millimetres up when his height stick is out of plumb by about 2 millimeters. Guy needs a spirit level bubble on his height stick

  Yikes 9” slump is absolutely terrible even with fly ash and being a flowable mix with fibers, even a high range mix design typically won’t call for that high of a slump, that’s terrible. Good luck on those breaks

  Then again the testing procedure for slump was done wrong, he was tamping the first layer and hitting the bottom of the slump cone, plus he only did a maybe 3 second pull which doesn’t constitute a proper slump test, he did do the test within 2 min 30 secs, so at least he did one thing right.

  Thanks for your comments. Plaster cut in circle shape buy pull up test. Dolly fixed by glue at least 24 hours. At this moment I have forgotten the adhesive name.

  if it is pre-mixed plaster, refer to manufacturer material data sheet. it varies but average 0.3 MPa minimum. For in situ plaster refer to British Standards.

I mean to say that if in any case when we cant do the whole quantity of concrete continuously which is required for the pile cap and if we are under the circumstances where we have to beak the concreting work and introduce a joint in any way, then in such case what should be the position of the joint and what type of joint (vertical or horizontal) is needed to be introduced in the pile cap ?

  @@hitendrarayamajhi7262 Thank you. The joint is called Construction joint. Before the 2nd pour concreting some bonding agent can used before pouring. The joint could be made rough by chipping before the the 2nd pour.

  @probir Saha - do you know any govt authorized quality testing firm which conducts this in kerala ? I am facing some plastering issue in my apartment and builder is saying plastering is fine. I want to understand how to verify that. Also is there any govt lab in kerala which takes plastering sample and do some testing to measure the cement/sand ratio.

  Hi, Thanks for your comment. Actully we have applied surface hardner on the floor, for that and floor undulation measuring purpose; we walked through the wet floor.
