when replacing bushings make sure you get new screws 8 total
Very black, the new one (intermediate) had to be changed immediately
Good
20psi sounds a lot. Can't you do it with any less pressure?
thanks for your clear video for all detail.
Hai sir, may I know is DUST COVER for front absorber material from Rubber or Plastic? Sorry for silly inquiring😊
If you would, please answer these questions.. I have a 2015 VW Golf, which apparently has the same coil / boot construction. My car was running great, but 60,000 miles and still hadn't changed the plugs. Last night I pulled very hard on all four coils and the boots seem glued to the plugs. The coils have NOT separated from the boots. At this point, I'm asking myself if I should just put the car back together and let a mechanic do the job. But wondering if the coil pack and conductors have been damaged by all the pulling. Is that likely? If so, would it be advisable to pull up on the coils and cut the boots just below the coils, so I can then use the silicone and pick process? Or should I apply more pulling force?
Hi there - Do you perhaps have a part Number for the shield you make mention of at 2:24 ?
Outstanding except for one thing? Is it too much effort to tell us all what size your Torx bits you are using? You’re talking anyway finish your sentence by telling us what size tools you are using to complete the job. DUH???
T30 + T45
@@f.best05 Thank you
Thank you, I know I can do this based on your teaching
Is there a way to create more space beneath the trunk area in BMW X3 F25 2014 so I can buy a spare tire and place it there?
Does the 2 litre petrol N43 (4 cylinder) have an engine block coolant drain plug, or just drained from the water pump/thermostat hoses? If so where? Also, I'm guessing draining only from the radiator will not remove enough fluid? Thanks.
Does anyone know if this works on an e36? I’ve got a tiny bit of rust and wanted to remove it to assess the damage and fix if possible without the windscreen out
The E46 M3 is not that easy
I miss this company, they had a great monthly magazine, and it kept you enthusiastic. Otto talked me on the phone and got me over some humps.
Otto!!! Where are you? You should make your own videos.
Excellent tutorial: followed it (almost) step-for-step and got the window working again. Thank you!
Is there a link to the specific wrenches needed, and do I need a hydraulic or regular tensioner? Thanks.
I know I can do this based on your timely explanation, I was mostly impressed with the magnetic tray for the bolts. Thanks again
Awesome video, so the parking break you don’t do anything special with it? You just take it off put it back?
Great video. Thanks!
Thanks 🏆
Mükemmel anlatım. Türkiye'den selamlar.
Hie guys can you please assist me with my car is 2000 model BMW E46 318i Automatic . l think l went pass through a big stone in the road and it hit my gearbox pan folding it upwards but not breaking it and l managed to get home and parked the car .Then the next day l started the car and as l try to put the car in drive it is stopping at the Reverse(R) slot even if you try to force it to reach the neutral (N) and the Drive(D) slot it is bouncing back to the Reverse slot infact its not getting in Neutral nor Drive(D) .I suspected the sound l heard underneath the car yesterday and when l checked underneath l could see the gearbox pan was damaged it has folded a bit upwards but its not linking any transmission oil .My question is can this damage of folding the pan upwards cause the car not to engage in N and D and how can l fix the pan to be straight need you help guys
Amazing video. Is this an identical process on a 2008 bmw z4 automatic with N52 engine?
Could you just use jumper cables from another car though?
I got a Dinan D900 for a m42b18is but have a 1.6i installed now. Do you think the chip will kill my car when inserted for the 1.6?
Just followed your video to do the rear brakes on an M5, thanks.
beautiful
I have a 2008 318i with N43 2 litre engine, which I understand has one upstream and one downstream O2 sensor. Are these both replaced when O2 sensor fault is seen? Are they accessible from above or below? Thanks.
That corner of the rear window is called "the hofmeister kink". Mask your Hofmeister kinks bimmer guys! This is good info thanks!
This is by far the best (easiest) way to replace the ccv, thank you Bavarian Auto! You saved us, keep it up! 👌🏽
Just viewed this video as need to do a transmission fluid change on a 118D considering this video is 10yr old is this still an effective way of changing the fluid if possibly I drained filled run drain again then fill or would it just save time & money just having it flushed and refilled properly? Bare in mind most garages in my area are quoting £300 + for a flush & refill but considering atf prices at moment would it even be worth doing it yourself
Thank you so much for this video it is very helpful, I have a question, in 9:36 you said "if I seen clogging in the hose, i would need to "Drain Back Pipe"" what does draining the back pipe mean?
are the shocks the same for both sides or are there left and right
I sure miss this company! Otto is da man
After doing this job on both the driver side and passenger side the driver side switches can no longer control the passenger side mirror, windows or lock. What would you suggest to troubleshoot this?
What about the windshield lower seal/trim? Noticed water started leaking into passenger footwell when poured/rained behind Windshield Cowl. Does that seal wear off with time as well? It's been ok for years and started leaking really bad, seemingly out of nowhere. 2009 Bmw 328i
Clear and concise , no nonsense, just what we all want, Thank You Sir!
But why not 630i spare Tyre not fitting in 🔩 bolt hole
Time consuming and messy if doing it on ramps. Wear safety glasses. Pretty straight forward but a pick tool is needed to break hoses off. Overall... main risk is stripping the upper water pump bolt when removing it. Make sure the e12 is fully seated. An extendable mirror helps. Personally after this taking me 6+ hours id rather just pay a mechanic 2hrs labour.
Good info easy to understand thank you.
Great video and tutorial, I just replaced my drivers side window regulator, and lowered all my windows to spray silicon spray in the window channels and the rear drivers side regulator is stuck with the window down.
13 years ago and this shit pops out when I just did the exactly same thing to my bimmer 8 hours ago. wtf.
Replace the car.....thats the ticket to no catastrophic failure 😺
How do you activate the parking brake?
Has any one else in here experienced your car turning off on you while making a turn ? That’s how I ended up in this video trying to see what I need to replace since my car died on me while making a turn and won’t start again
Rip Bavarian
This is the only video that pops up when i search how to replace the radiator for the 5.28i, which is bizarre, usually there's 10 different videos. So i imagine this will help but I'm really not sure.
I'm going to replace a radiator in a 1997 5.28I v6 here soon, will this video cover the info i need? Newer, mechanic here, help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
