    Just remember that if you have high blood pressure, you do not want to take creatine. Creatine makes your body retain water, and a lot of water. Your blood pressure will go up.

    We can't deny that we are living longer than we did when we didn't have all these supplements and "processed foods". The scientific evidence is in. Look at average life expectancy in the 1700s, 1800s, and 1900s and look at it now.

    @physionic I would suggest reading fat of the land. Very interesting , but not easy to read as there is no paragraph format etc. It is like he sat at a typewriter (without whiteout for errors) and started typing. That said, it has some very interesting information, and the best part is, you only have to read the first half or 2/3 as the rest is waxing eloquent on pemmican. I had some hmm moments when he talked about zero salt in the peoples diet.

    I actually started using glycine as an alternative sweetner but it was making me sleepy. Now that I understand it a bit more it makes sense. I take some in the evening before bed and it doesn't help me go to sleep any faster but keeps me from waking up as often. Any other benefit will be fine as well.

    Okay sure but, if both groups are being underfed and therefore malnutritioned, and the control group with Glycine adds in a little more calories for them to survive, that would explain everything?

  • @Physionic
    @Physionic2 сағат бұрын

    Why would they be underfed? If you ever go to a animal housing facility at a university, you'll know they have teams of dedicated people to take care of the animals. They also have no affiliation to the study or even know what the study is about - they're hired to take care of the animals.

    I think it's helpful, been taking it for 5 years. My advice to optimize: select 100% fruiting body sourced in USA or Canada. When taking powdered, remove from capsule and add to very hot water and let stand for 5-10 minutes, then add tincture, then consume. Works about 20 times better than just popping pills.

    Dr Rath explained this 10 years ago. Due to mechanical movement of the heart, arteries develop tiny cracks due to Vit C deficiency occur thus the liver is triggered to produce protein patches to block the cracks. The patches build up and are seen as arterial plaque. Doesn't happen in the venous system. Videos about this. Sub clinical scurvy is the cause of arterial plaqueing.

    Why is LP(a) only found in humans and primates? - Because most annimals make their own vitamin C. - LP(a) is a vitamin surrogate - LP(a) repairs collagen tissue what is damaged. Especially coronary arteries, because of high blood pressure. Why have smokers more LP(a)? - Because every cigaret will cost you 25 mg vitamin C. - LP(a) has to repair the damage otherwise your system collapse. Proline hydroxylation requires ascorbic acid (vitamin C). It is needed for making cross linkings. This makes your collagen verry strong. Is there a therapy of lowering LP(a)? - LP(a) is not needed if you supplement with high dose vitamin C (35 mg./kg. body weight) If high cholesterol is a problem, why will you get only artherosclerosis and not venosclerosis (plaques in your veins)? - Because high bloodpressure is only in arteries. Venosclerosis does not exist. Source KZread: Breakthrough towards the natural control of cardiovascular disease, Dr. Matthias Rath, 22-4-2015

    Interesting, I follow long distance hikers on KZread. Usually the ones that walk the Appalachian trail, pacific crest trail and the continental divide trail. These folks are walking well over 20k steps per day. But they eat like crap because they’re carrying several days worth of food that must be light weight. They don’t really say they feel healthy, but they feel strong, after a few weeks or months.

    The pritikin diet was basically high vegetable, high complex carbohydrate, low protein and very low fat. Not sure about calorie limitation. The focus was reduced cardiovascular disease, and it has at times been said you are as old as your arteries. At his autopsy, results reported in the NEJM, he was pretty much atherosclerosis free save for some fatty streaks in his aorta.

    Too many variables in this video to really get a hold of the "truth" Consider: - Saturated fat is not bad - "Vegetable" Oil / Seed oil ( any chemically extracted / process oil ) is bad . Some are worse than others but the are all bad and very readily oxidise and screw up your everything pretty much. Seed oils are in everything processed it seems. - PUFA's in small amounts are ok ( and essential ) . In large amount ESPECIALLY in seed oils absolutely blow out your recommended Omega3/6 ratios - you would need to consume buckets of Omega3 to get it back to the the correct ratio ( apart from the oxidisation and toxins involved ) - LDL is not necessarily bad - and a poor indicator of heart disease - Triglycerides is a better indicator of heart disease - Epidemilological studies ( or meta analysis of them ) is pretty useless ( I mean surveys? What else were they eating? what was it cooked in ? Seed oils? ) . Statistically 0-20% reliable - "Keto" is a bit broad. You can get really unwell on a Keto diet if you eat seed oils and / or sugar ( and many "keto friendly" products have just that ) . Even on carnivore I know of someone who was on the carnivore diet and used to binge ocassionally chocolate and other things and ended up having a heart attack. - Low carb is really under 100g a day. Anything higher and you probably need a CGM because some foods spike the insulin in some people more than others ( and unexpectedly ) With respect, If you really think you explained something truthful - then think again. There are far too many variables in this sort of subject ( nutrition -> human body ) to make any robust conclusions.
