Sorry to see this Andy. Hope you can get it sorted soon and get back in doing what you love doing.
Looks like a cootie!
Hi Andy. So very very sorry to see this last video. Glad no one was hurt. You must be gutted and you have my sincere sympathy. I know you will rebuild and get back to wood turning. I look forward to your next video, hopefully one showing all your followers how the rebuild is coming on. All the very best my friend and good luck with the rebuild. Mick B.
Sorry to see😢
Just seen the video what a shit 😱☹
Very nice bowl! You've given me some ideas.. I have a pile of pallet wood that has been sitting around for a few years and now I know what to do with some of it! So sorry to hear about your shop fire.. I hope you are able to rebuild soon! I look forward to the first rebuild video! Cheers!

I saw this on Steve’s site. Greg job!
Really sorry to see this Andy. I sincerely hope you can withstand the financial as well as emotional hit and be back in business as soon as possible. All best wishes to you.
Just checking in, Andy, to let you know that I'm thinking about you and praying for you. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Really shit, deepest sympathy, don't give up
Hi Andy this lidded box is magnificent well turned you are brilliant I love your videos. Take care Amanda xx❤❤
That's a really bad deal, Andy. The You Tube wood working community is much better for you being part of it. I hope it's sorted out quickly, and you're back on the screen in short order.
Is the recess preferable to the tenon when making a plate?
This is sad mate. Take care and hope you can get things sorted.
The timing on Adam Savage's latest video is impeccable: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aXxsxLhyhLKZk7A.htmlsi=4tJJh3I-hHZzYc0l
Andy, I'm so sorry to hear of this tragedy. As a fellow turner I can't imagine the loss. My prayers are with you, and look forward to seeing you return to making more videos. Sure glad you weren't injured, sorry again...Dan
Hi Andy sorry to see this mate hope all turns out ok.
Hi Geoff... I hope that you are well... Thank you so much... It will take some time but I will bounce back... Seb is helping me with some things... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
Absolutely devastating Andy, glad no one was hurt and hope you can rebuild and get back to what you love doing in your workshop. All the best to you. Regards Jim
Absolutely lovely, Andy! It's a shame you did not get to finish it. I'm thinking of you daily and wishing you strength, patience and success! Phil
Hi Phil... Thank you so much as always for your kind words... It will take some time but I will bounce back... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy
*I CAN IDENTIFY TOTALLY WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE.* My barn and workshops burned to the ground almost two years ago. Again I don't know the cause, but I have my suspicions. To quote Shakespeare, *''Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.''* £150k worth of gear, but insurance 20k, hadn't got to upgrading it! I'm getting insurance for the Barn to be rebuilt. but its been a real 2 year struggle. Two months before that I lost my partner, companion, and love of my life! I still miss her. .
Absolutely beautiful👍👍👍
Wolf
I've just shared this one with my better half. She is a painter and working on a watercolor series of New Orleans, Louisiana.
I love that English yew. Its more orange than the pacific variety i think.
That's an awesome job, sir. Don't let your recent misfortune turn you from your creativity. Your friends in KZread-Land are pulling for you.
Oh you poor man. So glad you aren't hurt, but heartbreaking to lose a lifetimes worth of tools and carefully kept wood. I hope your insurance covers it, and maybe a tool company can replace some of your tools foc
So sorry to see this happen. Glad you're safe. It's only stuff.
Hi Bren... Wow.. thank you so much for your generous support... That was very kind of you to do that.. Yes.. safe and buildings and contents can be replaced... It may take a while but I will bounce back... I'm at the planning stage for my workshop at the moment working out what I can do... I will post any developments as they happen... Take care my friend and all the best from Andy..
Where I’m from we import wood and is expensive, but at work have gazillion of pallets coming in every day,and it’s a pity letting them go to waste,I’m thinking of repurpose them for wood turning too.. Note to all:- Please make sure to use pallet wood that’s been printed on the side HT that means Heat Treated, some pallets are sprayed with chemicals for pests and that can be harmful to your lungs if you inhale the dust, ALWAYS Make sure your getting them with the HT marked on the side of the wooden block. Great Video 😊
Very nice I am just learning stone work at 60 😂 just finished a patio for a friend and turned out beautifully. I've learned alot in the past 2 weeks just from videos like yours. Thanks to you and all the others that take the time to share the knowledge and skill. I've found it to be very relaxing and brings me a great deal of peace ✌️
