So talented, popular and from a rich family yet remained so humble and worked for everything he got..never got it from his rich dad.. Most of his peers r snobs, except the leppard guys. Such a nice guy.

I just started getting into these guys right before CJ died. I saw them back in the 90s. Such a long time ago. I was too stoned to pay attention. Then only a few weeks ago poof! I'm listening to them non-Stop Bill leverty is right up there with the best guitar players as far as I can tell. He does a little bit of tapping just like Eddie Van Halen. Guitar players learn from each other. That's the way it works. I love his solo on "reach for the sky".

I saw Firehouse in the 90s. I thought they were just "0k". Until a couple of months ago. I started listening to them more closely. And then...Reach for the sky got into my head and I couldn't get rid of it. I didn't know much about the band. I didn't even know their names. Then the lead singer died and I found out his name. CJ was an awesome singer. Rip

What a great tutorial of the handful that there are of this timeless Hendrix classic. The wording is incredibly concise and the technical aspect is spot on. The guitarist has the song absolutely nailed, almost as if you were listening to snippets of the recording itself. Great job to all involved!

My personal favourite (living) guitarist. I wish he had never left the music scene, but he is right for "hating the music industry" and at the end of the day, family comes first. Vito chose correctly... family over fame. Bless him.

Dude shreds like a master and knows his music theory. Rare breed. I tried that wide pull off at 14th fret and man it's an 8 fret stretch to the 22nd fret. He makes it look easy. I have XXL hands and can barely do it. The dude is good.
